I bought a cool/purifier tower one 3 yrs ago for ~$400. The type with the button on the bottom of the base. During the LA fires, thought I'd buy another cylindrical filter as a backup as mine (a replacement) is working overtime. Turns out Dyson discontinued my model and don't make that type of filter anymore. I'll never buy another Dyson. Edit. I am dumb. See below! 👇
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->I'm so glad you responded. I have a TP01 and could not find the filter but after your admonishment I refined my search and there it is-- they do sell the filter. Buying one now! Thanks for helping me not be stupid.
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->Hey I have one too and I love mine. So happy the filters came back wow! I was also pissed. I adore my TP01. I ended up finding a filter on eBay
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->For purifier the Dyson towers with HEPA filters are GOAT. For humidifiers, the large ones I need to keep my place sufficiently humid tend to break after 1\~1.5 years of use regardless of price range.
r/japanresidents • Air humidifier and purifier frustrations - Any recommendations? ->First, any premium item with that big of a discount is usually "worth it". Secondly. The Hot/Cool work great. Bought my first about 6 years ago when it was called the HP02 Link model one of the first to use wifi/app. The HP02 saved us during a freeze with no power for days...hooked it up to the portable generator to keep our room warm. Then we decided to add another Hot/Cool 4 years ago HP04. We also have a Pure Cool. No issues on any, just regular maintenance like changing filters. We are happy with them all and the app to control and review data. I think the AM models don't have wifi/app capability...I was researching them recently to add another hot/cool.
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->Dyson Pure Cool works very well. It’s not cheap though. Highly recommend.
r/Thailand • Chart comparing popular air purifiers that are available in Thailand ->Tried a Dyson Pure Cool in the past. Nice design, but even on night mode the airflow was too much for light sleepers like me
r/AirQuality • Air purifier for dorm room ->Why Dyson, they are literally the worst AP on the market
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->Low quality parts. They market well using fancy CGI but the reality is constant maintenance and very expensive cheap parts that fail even after 1-3months Dyson is the most talked about vacuum when it comes to failure and shoddy workmanship
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->My dad has one and like many customers he's never changed the filter or cleaned the pre filtration system.......it now blows meat flavoured air hahahaha
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->Same one I have, and I paid less than that for it new!
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->I got one of the Dyson ones that oscillates. It's amazing.
r/dubai • Air purifier recommendations? ->I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Are air purifiers worth buying for pets? Which options would be the best you've tried? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
