Dyson - Pure Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09

I’ve a hot and cold purify formaldehyde. It’s been sold for 4 years. Works amazingly as a heater heating the room evenly, the filter collects a load of dust, never had any clogs and the app is brilliant. They are expensive but worth it.

Oh, fuck no. As an owner of four of these things, they’re some of my most regretted purchases. They have a laughably low CFM, are stupid loud on even medium speeds, develop squeaky bearings within months, the filters are expensive as shit, and the software sucks. Seriously, do not buy one of these. Edit: I have two TP07s, an HP04, and an HP09. They all suck equally.

Look for true HEPA filtration, and formaldehyde filtration. Dyson TP09 or HP09 are amazing, as is their BEAST the new Big+Quiet Formaldehyde purifier. These are very well made and designed purifiers with a true commitment to air quality. Some of these purifiers end up making things worse.

Both, I have the hot and cool link, we like it for monitoring and purifying, plus single room heating. It works great in conjunction with our HVAC system so it’s basically providing a single room filter plus heating capability, and helps push around the well-filtered air from the HVAC. And we can see when the HVAC filters actually need to be changed because you can see the stats no longer sit at 0 the whole time. But let me be clear, it’s absolutely not worth the price

If you looking for filter out dust you need the one has big and powerful fan but if you need one to filter out VOC and a microscopic stuff you better of looking for multi layer filter system with HEPA , I have used Coway for dust and Dyson formaldehyde for microscopic and IQAIR multigas for road traffic pollution next to my apartment!

There is truly no "one and done" air purifier for dust, as dust is too heavy to be pulled by typical air purifiers. The Dyson formaldehyde air purifier attempts to solve this issue, but directing air at stagnat pockets within a room to encourage dusty air to make it way towards the filter intake. That'll most likely be your best bet against dust if you don't want to manually remove it, ie vacuum, brush, etc etc.

I got the Levoit purifiers, and they are fantastic. A 300S model for the bedroom. A bigger 600S model for the living room. Good filtration system with good qol features paired with the mobile app. If you want the best, the Dyson Formaldehyde will be your choice. Dyson customer service is crap. I bought the hot and cold one. From the box, it wouldn't track the pollutants in the air when i paired it to my app. I thought since it was a new pairing, i needed to give it a couple days for a reading. I forgot about it. A couple of weeks go by and my wife reminds me that there's still no reading. So I called customer support. We tried trouble shooting it. No go. Then we had a video call and did more trouble shooting. Nada. Then they said I could pay to send it in and they'd take a look at it. I said "over my dead body, it's 2 weeks old!" Then they said they'd pay for shipping. At this point, I was pissed. I said I wanted them to send me a new one and I would send it back. They said no can do. I ended up contacting Amazon and getting a full refund. Yeah, screw Dyson.

I have a hot/cold Dyson that runs daily. I got it in 2020 and if my house were on fire, I would save my fan!
