Pure Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09

Oh, fuck no. As an owner of four of these things, they’re some of my most regretted purchases. They have a laughably low CFM, are stupid loud on even medium speeds, develop squeaky bearings within months, the filters are expensive as shit, and the software sucks. Seriously, do not buy one of these. Edit: I have two TP07s, an HP04, and an HP09. They all suck equally.

We've got a Dyson HP09, I've integrated with Home Assistant, so it will turn on or off automatically if the air quality drops (while I'm cooking), then on and off during certain times when I turn the room's lights on or off. Haven't don't much more than that but it's a great bit of kit, and also looks good in the room

Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link. I think it’s from 2016? The filters are a continuing cost but overall very happy with it.

It’s not necessary unless you have bad allergies or if there is smoke from some huge fire (knock on wood). I have Dyson combo fan/heaters with air purifier, so it’s automatically working when I use them.

I went to Costco to buy a winex brand for 500.00. When I got there the Dyson air purifier/ heat and cool were marked down from 600.00 to 200.00. So I bought two for less than one! I really, really like them.
