"I recently found out I have a bunch of allergies- including my dog, so I got these Winix units to try and help combat the allergies. ... Within about 45 minutes of running one in my living room, part of my nose that has been clogged for as long as I can remember opened up. I’m breathing better than I have in years."
"I can tell you they really work. I have a mold allergy, and mold is literally everywhere in outdoor or indoor air with spores just waiting to land in a suitable environment for growth, but I have no symptoms at home with my two small Winix."
"They are also great to have during annual west coast wild fire smoke season and keep particulates in the house undetectable even when it has been horrid outside."

"uppababy has amazing customer service ... if you buy the travel bag and use it while flying, they will overnight you a new stroller if it breaks."
"Then one of them started to produce a high pitched noise every now and then, called them and they sent me, get a load of this, a brand new one, sealed, worth 700 euros. Not a single question asked, just straight RMA"
"For me the thermarest warranty has been worth its weight in gold ... every interaction I’ve had with them has been amazing, no questions asked replacement or repair"

"No issues on any, just regular maintenance like changing filters. We are happy with them all"
"I have one TP07 and one TP7C that work phenomenally (both ~4 years old)"

"Temperature, humidity, nitrogen dioxide, PM2. 5, PM10, VOC, Formaldehyde... The carbon Monoxide sensor is a separate sensor I added to the room, not Dyson. Also filter life, night mode, on off, auto, movement."
"They are very well engineered, pack at least 8 sensors each and have this MQTT broker. They bring a lot to the table for the money"

"It's absolutely local, Dyson Air purifiers run an MQTT Broker that the integration connects to natively (you don't need to have MQTT installed at all, the integration does its own thing independently) ... a completely local MQTT based integration"
"I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation."
"I like the smart app dyson has"

"I lost 300$ on a50 gen 5,has worked maybe 10 hours totally ... and dock station froze and stayed in xbox mode after a regular software update... ... tried everything i could, believe me..."
"if you also regularly use Bluetooth on the go, then Astro isn for you as the Bluetooth is on the dock and not on the headset ... Astro is definitely not worth the price when the Bluetooth is on the dock. That was a stupid thing to do, because anyone who buys a headset with Bluetooth would want to use the headset away from their set up and Bluetooth on the go"
"The prices for wireless speakers/subwoofer that sync with a soundbar are outragious. ... 2000€ or more for a sonos arc ultra + sub + 2 rear speakers."

Oh, fuck no. As an owner of four of these things, they’re some of my most regretted purchases. They have a laughably low CFM, are stupid loud on even medium speeds, develop squeaky bearings within months, the filters are expensive as shit, and the software sucks. Seriously, do not buy one of these. Edit: I have two TP07s, an HP04, and an HP09. They all suck equally.
r/AirQuality • What air purifier is the good/best to get for BEDROOM in today's market? ->Looks like a TP07 which was being blown out at a lot of stores for $399 since it was replaced by a new model but could also be the Costco version which was without a wifi connection and that one was going for $199 just a month or so ago. Ask them if it’s an app connected version.
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation.
r/homebridge • Best Homebridge/HomeKit Smart Air Purifiers? ->I have TP07 seems exactly like that.
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->I, personally, would not buy a Dyson purifier or anything of the sort from them directly. Please be advised by all of the other commenters warning you of their god-awful customer service. I've switched to only purchasing from Nordstrom/Costco, so in the event of needing to return it or activate a warranty, I can. I have one TP07 and one TP7C that work phenomenally (both ~4 years old), but at least I can rest assured knowing the return process won't be a hassle. I highly recommend if possible!
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->Why Dyson, they are literally the worst AP on the market
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->Low quality parts. They market well using fancy CGI but the reality is constant maintenance and very expensive cheap parts that fail even after 1-3months Dyson is the most talked about vacuum when it comes to failure and shoddy workmanship
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->My dad has one and like many customers he's never changed the filter or cleaned the pre filtration system.......it now blows meat flavoured air hahahaha
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->Yes it has gone down since late last year. I have a notification set up just in case they ever sell them again. I have 3 TP09 and 1 TP07 (the TP09 are the golden ones, that is the one I later got for free new) and the tp07 was the first I bought
r/homeassistant • Best Air purifier in 2025? ->I got one of the Dyson ones that oscillates. It's amazing.
r/dubai • Air purifier recommendations? ->Just purchased a Dyson Air Purifier TP07 it arrived on my door step the next day. I unpack it read the directions then plug it in and turn it on. It starts to boot up for 4 sec and I get the triangle with exclamation point. Trouble shoot only to find that I have to contact Dyson. The phone Dyson phone robot tells me I have to package the air purifier up and send it back. They will repair it and send it back to me in about a month. I say forget!!! I say that I will send it back but I want my money back ( $840.00). Robot replies how about we send you a new one instead ? I say ok . Robot say send back the first one and we will send you a new one. I say how long will this take? Robot about a 1 month. I say give me my money back. Long story short. It took Dyson 1 day to deliver the air purifier to me. It takes 1 month approx to repair, replace or refund my money. Why does it take 1 day to deliver and 1 month to repair, replace or refund? You might want to take that into consideration before doing and business with them. If you do and you have issues ask to talk to a human.
r/dyson • Thinking about getting a Dyson air purifier? ->First, any premium item with that big of a discount is usually "worth it". Secondly. The Hot/Cool work great. Bought my first about 6 years ago when it was called the HP02 Link model one of the first to use wifi/app. The HP02 saved us during a freeze with no power for days...hooked it up to the portable generator to keep our room warm. Then we decided to add another Hot/Cool 4 years ago HP04. We also have a Pure Cool. No issues on any, just regular maintenance like changing filters. We are happy with them all and the app to control and review data. I think the AM models don't have wifi/app capability...I was researching them recently to add another hot/cool.
