Dyson - Purifier Cool Auto React TP7A

Just look at the bottom of the machine. There is a sticker with model name. If the unit is all silver it is TP07 with wifi. After came the same model but without wifi named tp7a. The tp7a is not all silver. The middle is dark silver and the remote is also dark silver.

Oh, fuck no. As an owner of four of these things, they’re some of my most regretted purchases. They have a laughably low CFM, are stupid loud on even medium speeds, develop squeaky bearings within months, the filters are expensive as shit, and the software sucks. Seriously, do not buy one of these. Edit: I have two TP07s, an HP04, and an HP09. They all suck equally.

Looks like a TP07 which was being blown out at a lot of stores for $399 since it was replaced by a new model but could also be the Costco version which was without a wifi connection and that one was going for $199 just a month or so ago. Ask them if it’s an app connected version.

I, personally, would not buy a Dyson purifier or anything of the sort from them directly. Please be advised by all of the other commenters warning you of their god-awful customer service. I've switched to only purchasing from Nordstrom/Costco, so in the event of needing to return it or activate a warranty, I can. I have one TP07 and one TP7C that work phenomenally (both ~4 years old), but at least I can rest assured knowing the return process won't be a hassle. I highly recommend if possible!

Yes it has gone down since late last year. I have a notification set up just in case they ever sell them again. I have 3 TP09 and 1 TP07 (the TP09 are the golden ones, that is the one I later got for free new) and the tp07 was the first I bought

Just purchased a Dyson Air Purifier TP07 it arrived on my door step the next day. I unpack it read the directions then plug it in and turn it on. It starts to boot up for 4 sec and I get the triangle with exclamation point. Trouble shoot only to find that I have to contact Dyson. The phone Dyson phone robot tells me I have to package the air purifier up and send it back. They will repair it and send it back to me in about a month. I say forget!!! I say that I will send it back but I want my money back ( $840.00). Robot replies how about we send you a new one instead ? I say ok . Robot say send back the first one and we will send you a new one. I say how long will this take? Robot about a 1 month. I say give me my money back. Long story short. It took Dyson 1 day to deliver the air purifier to me. It takes 1 month approx to repair, replace or refund my money. Why does it take 1 day to deliver and 1 month to repair, replace or refund? You might want to take that into consideration before doing and business with them. If you do and you have issues ask to talk to a human.

I tried a Dyson TP07 once, but it felt pricey for my budget, so I leaned toward Coway Airmega because it handles pet hair and dust pretty nicely.

I bought the Shark Hepa Max couple weeks ago for the same price. It works good but i returned it and bought the Dyson TP07. I got it for $335 brand new. Go to Dyson's website and sign up for their news letter and text message and you'll receive a 10% off code. It works on sale products.

How did you manage to research so thoroughly yet still consider including the Dyson? not only that - in an 80-100m² house? Moreover, the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of the Winix Compact 4-stage Air Purifier, Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09, and Dyson Purifier Cool Purifying Fan TP07 is not suitable for larger room sizes. These units are more effective in smaller spaces, and their CADR values do not match the requirements for adequately purifying larger areas. You need at least 5 ACH (on low or medium fan settings for low noise) to make the Air Purifiers actually works. Air purifiers are most effective in small rooms. To ensure optimal air quality throughout an entire house, multiple units are necessary. The higher the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), the faster it can purify the air in a given space. However, Dyson is the worst of them all. And, none of the machines mentioned are sufficient to clean a medium-sized apartment (80-100m²) on their own; they are best suited for individual rooms. First, any premium item with that big of a discount is usually "worth it". Secondly. The Hot/Cool work great. Bought my first about 6 years ago when it was called the HP02 Link model one of the first to use wifi/app. The HP02 saved us during a freeze with no power for days...hooked it up to the portable generator to keep our room warm. Then we decided to add another Hot/Cool 4 years ago HP04. We also have a Pure Cool. No issues on any, just regular maintenance like changing filters. We are happy with them all and the app to control and review data. I think the AM models don't have wifi/app capability...I was researching them recently to add another hot/cool.

Dyson Pure Cool works very well. It’s not cheap though. Highly recommend.

Tried a Dyson Pure Cool in the past. Nice design, but even on night mode the airflow was too much for light sleepers like me

Why Dyson, they are literally the worst AP on the market

Low quality parts. They market well using fancy CGI but the reality is constant maintenance and very expensive cheap parts that fail even after 1-3months Dyson is the most talked about vacuum when it comes to failure and shoddy workmanship

My dad has one and like many customers he's never changed the filter or cleaned the pre filtration system.......it now blows meat flavoured air hahahaha

I got one of the Dyson ones that oscillates. It's amazing.

I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation.

I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
