I got the PC2 TP12 a few days ago and I understand what you mean. At 10 it's pretty loud, ~~but the output seems weak~~, although its alright to me because I don't want it to be too strength. I just bought it for air filtering and measuring, and it does a great job at that I guess. But I totally understand if people don't like it as a fan. Edit: I tested it at 10 again and tbh, the output is pretty good. I really don't want it to be stronger.
r/dyson • Review Dyson Air purifier TP11(pc1) ->If you looking for filter out dust you need the one has big and powerful fan but if you need one to filter out VOC and a microscopic stuff you better of looking for multi layer filter system with HEPA , I have used Coway for dust and Dyson formaldehyde for microscopic and IQAIR multigas for road traffic pollution next to my apartment!
r/AirQuality • What is the best air purifier out there? ->There is truly no "one and done" air purifier for dust, as dust is too heavy to be pulled by typical air purifiers. The Dyson formaldehyde air purifier attempts to solve this issue, but directing air at stagnat pockets within a room to encourage dusty air to make it way towards the filter intake. That'll most likely be your best bet against dust if you don't want to manually remove it, ie vacuum, brush, etc etc.
r/BuyItForLife • What Air Purifier should i get against dust? ->How did you manage to research so thoroughly yet still consider including the Dyson? not only that - in an 80-100m² house? Moreover, the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of the Winix Compact 4-stage Air Purifier, Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09, and Dyson Purifier Cool Purifying Fan TP07 is not suitable for larger room sizes. These units are more effective in smaller spaces, and their CADR values do not match the requirements for adequately purifying larger areas. You need at least 5 ACH (on low or medium fan settings for low noise) to make the Air Purifiers actually works. Air purifiers are most effective in small rooms. To ensure optimal air quality throughout an entire house, multiple units are necessary. The higher the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), the faster it can purify the air in a given space. However, Dyson is the worst of them all. And, none of the machines mentioned are sufficient to clean a medium-sized apartment (80-100m²) on their own; they are best suited for individual rooms. Please using these information below to research again: \- To effectively combat dust, you'll need a HEPA or MERV filter. \- When it comes to VOCs and odors, the more activated carbon present, the better it will be at eliminating them. \- Last but certainly not least, the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) is the most critical factor to consider for overall air purification efficiency. It MUST be at least 5 ACH
r/AirPurifiers • Looking for an air purifier in Australia that effectively handles dust, smoke, mold spores, and odor/voc removal ->Just never buy from blue air directly. They won’t help up if a package is lost. I’ve used a few other smart purifiers. The Dyson ones suck at dust and the smart part works with Alexa and google home only and it’s very buggy. It needs to be reconnected often. Just got a lg 360 and it’s good other than the wifi module in the unit. It loses connection frequently and also is limited to their app. It briefly worked in Alexa and google home but often non responsive. It does have built in air quality sensor though. We also had a blue air sense model several years ago. That was one of their first smart models. It had to get WiFi reset about once a year and didn’t support a lot of integrations. Eventually the WiFi module failed on it. We have business grade wifi (Cisco Meraki mr56 x 2 APs). so it’s not like budget consumer WiFi routers.
r/AirPurifiers • In need of smart air purifiers ->I got one of the Dyson ones that oscillates. It's amazing.
r/dubai • Air purifier recommendations? ->I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation.
r/homebridge • Best Homebridge/HomeKit Smart Air Purifiers? ->I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Are air purifiers worth buying for pets? Which options would be the best you've tried? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
