"Temperature, humidity, nitrogen dioxide, PM2. 5, PM10, VOC, Formaldehyde... The carbon Monoxide sensor is a separate sensor I added to the room, not Dyson. Also filter life, night mode, on off, auto, movement."

"They are very well engineered, pack at least 8 sensors each and have this MQTT broker. They bring a lot to the table for the money"

"They have been running 24/7 since I bought them in Jan 2022."

"I have one TP07 and one TP7C that work phenomenally (both ~4 years old)"

"No issues on any, just regular maintenance like changing filters. We are happy with them all"

"It's absolutely local, Dyson Air purifiers run an MQTT Broker that the integration connects to natively (you don't need to have MQTT installed at all, the integration does its own thing independently) ... a completely local MQTT based integration"

"I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation."

"Same, been brilliant so far."

Oh, fuck no. As an owner of four of these things, they’re some of my most regretted purchases. They have a laughably low CFM, are stupid loud on even medium speeds, develop squeaky bearings within months, the filters are expensive as shit, and the software sucks. Seriously, do not buy one of these. Edit: I have two TP07s, an HP04, and an HP09. They all suck equally.

Looks like a TP07 which was being blown out at a lot of stores for $399 since it was replaced by a new model but could also be the Costco version which was without a wifi connection and that one was going for $199 just a month or so ago. Ask them if it’s an app connected version.

Its great that Dyson is able to combine all these feature into one product but it doesn’t do the best job with air purification. Had a tower fan with air purification and the sensor failed in 9 months. Instead of replacing the sensor, the service center determined that it is easier to give us a replacement unit but only honor the original one year warranty.

I, personally, would not buy a Dyson purifier or anything of the sort from them directly. Please be advised by all of the other commenters warning you of their god-awful customer service. I've switched to only purchasing from Nordstrom/Costco, so in the event of needing to return it or activate a warranty, I can. I have one TP07 and one TP7C that work phenomenally (both ~4 years old), but at least I can rest assured knowing the return process won't be a hassle. I highly recommend if possible!

Low quality parts. They market well using fancy CGI but the reality is constant maintenance and very expensive cheap parts that fail even after 1-3months Dyson is the most talked about vacuum when it comes to failure and shoddy workmanship

Just never buy from blue air directly. They won’t help up if a package is lost. I’ve used a few other smart purifiers. The Dyson ones suck at dust and the smart part works with Alexa and google home only and it’s very buggy. It needs to be reconnected often. Just got a lg 360 and it’s good other than the wifi module in the unit. It loses connection frequently and also is limited to their app. It briefly worked in Alexa and google home but often non responsive. It does have built in air quality sensor though. We also had a blue air sense model several years ago. That was one of their first smart models. It had to get WiFi reset about once a year and didn’t support a lot of integrations. Eventually the WiFi module failed on it. We have business grade wifi (Cisco Meraki mr56 x 2 APs). so it’s not like budget consumer WiFi routers.

Yes it has gone down since late last year. I have a notification set up just in case they ever sell them again. I have 3 TP09 and 1 TP07 (the TP09 are the golden ones, that is the one I later got for free new) and the tp07 was the first I bought
