I have both Dyson tp10 and Coway air mega 250, and coway is MUCH better than Dyson, and it's literally half the price.

So I’ve been through a medify air m40 and a Dyson tp10 I think it was just their basic hepa 13 model. I recently got a molecule mini + and I stopped sneezing randomly/constantly in my apt. I think it’s funny because they are such a “scam” and or least not like factually on paper a good product….its working for me and I can’t really complain

Dyson is probably the best in my experience. I’d fart and it’ll start doing its thing when its on auto as you can hear the fan switching to high. My Levoit air purifiers don’t do that, they ignore my farts.

I have the tp10. Bought used from fb marketplace. There’s so many models for some reason but if you are getting one make sure you get wifi enabled models. There was a refurbished model yesterday on woot that I was about to pull the trigger for another room but it wasn’t wifi enabled.

I had the Dyson. It had very frequent problems necessitating bringing it back to the store to be fixed. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Levoit core 600s, coway airmega 300/400, medify ma125, dyson tp10, alen air breath smart, winix t810/5500. Any of these are great, so you can pick based off of design preference and location. Ones that intake from all sides work best in center of room, others are fine up against a wall. Dyson works well as a fan or circulator too. I also live in a larger open air loft style apartment with a cat. I have a Dyson in the upstairs bedroom for the fan feature, levoit 600s in kitchen for cooking because that thing moves alot of air at max, winix 5500 in bathroom and by litterbox because it is best bang for buck, having carbon pellets for odor at low price.

We have a few of the Dyson purifiers and love them. We got the one with the humidifier for the nursery https://amzn.to/49xpXj1

How did you manage to research so thoroughly yet still consider including the Dyson? not only that - in an 80-100m² house? Moreover, the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of the Winix Compact 4-stage Air Purifier, Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09, and Dyson Purifier Cool Purifying Fan TP07 is not suitable for larger room sizes. These units are more effective in smaller spaces, and their CADR values do not match the requirements for adequately purifying larger areas. You need at least 5 ACH (on low or medium fan settings for low noise) to make the Air Purifiers actually works. Air purifiers are most effective in small rooms. To ensure optimal air quality throughout an entire house, multiple units are necessary. The higher the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), the faster it can purify the air in a given space. However, Dyson is the worst of them all. And, none of the machines mentioned are sufficient to clean a medium-sized apartment (80-100m²) on their own; they are best suited for individual rooms. Please using these information below to research again: \- To effectively combat dust, you'll need a HEPA or MERV filter. \- When it comes to VOCs and odors, the more activated carbon present, the better it will be at eliminating them. \- Last but certainly not least, the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) is the most critical factor to consider for overall air purification efficiency. It MUST be at least 5 ACH

I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
