"constant maintenance"
So I’ve been through a medify air m40 and a Dyson tp10 I think it was just their basic hepa 13 model. I recently got a molecule mini + and I stopped sneezing randomly/constantly in my apt. I think it’s funny because they are such a “scam” and or least not like factually on paper a good product….its working for me and I can’t really complain
Dyson is probably the best in my experience. I’d fart and it’ll start doing its thing when its on auto as you can hear the fan switching to high. My Levoit air purifiers don’t do that, they ignore my farts.
I have the tp10. Bought used from fb marketplace. There’s so many models for some reason but if you are getting one make sure you get wifi enabled models. There was a refurbished model yesterday on woot that I was about to pull the trigger for another room but it wasn’t wifi enabled.
Dyson has stock, got my gen 1 from the official website a year ago
My cat and I are both asthmatic and allergic fo dust. Neither of us have had asthma since I brought a Dyson tp109 about 2-3 years ago. I consider that to be a success.
bought a used dyson tp, before that just a box fan and merv filter. watching the filter media go from bright white to covered in dust and dark gray for a small room clearly showed a need for air filtration. It should be a part of everyones home
You'll want to block places the smoke is entering from if possible (a rolled up towel in front of door, covers on electrical outlets). Dyson air purifier fans will help. I've smoked inside my place and run the dyson and it got rid of all the smell but it ran full blast and that's a bit loud. You can also try other natural air deodorizers like putting out a bowl of baking soda. Ground coffee, orange peel and apple slices are also supposed to help. I used them when I used to smoke to freshen my place along with vinegar (tho the vinegar has a strong smell) and thought it was helpful.
I got one of the Dyson ones that oscillates. It's amazing.
For the price of that top one you could get a Dyson.
Mine stops me needing to dust and keeps me cool, can’t complain.
Why Dyson, they are literally the worst AP on the market
Low quality parts. They market well using fancy CGI but the reality is constant maintenance and very expensive cheap parts that fail even after 1-3months Dyson is the most talked about vacuum when it comes to failure and shoddy workmanship
My dad has one and like many customers he's never changed the filter or cleaned the pre filtration system.......it now blows meat flavoured air hahahaha
Same one I have, and I paid less than that for it new!
