"We’ve also had terrible Smokey days from the Canadian wildfires in my area and when I last replaced my filter, it was almost black so it was working hard!"
"The sensors are amazing. ... Yes whenever I cook or smoke they instantly kick on and work really well."
"for me Dyson has much better sensors, probably the best in the market. ... I farted and Dyson picked up immediately, while other brands didnt seem to even notice."

"One huge leg up for a Shark over Roomba is that the brush roller is similar to a vacuum (e.g. hard plastic), whereas the roomba is a plastic roller with a rubber cover that is DESTROYED by dog fur and you have to frequently replace."
"the only robot vacuum that didn’t clog or burn out was the self emptying shark one. ... it’s been going three years strong."

"Then one of them started to produce a high pitched noise every now and then, called them and they sent me, get a load of this, a brand new one, sealed, worth 700 euros. Not a single question asked, just straight RMA"
"Nemo’s warranty is fantastic. ... They repaired a rainfly for free that I’m pretty sure definitely ripped due to me."
"their customer support was better than any company I’ve ever encountered ... When my first tent got some delamination on the waterproofing layer they replaced it for free"

"The j7 got stuck often, maybe 1 out of 4 cleanings it either sucked up a cat toy or jammed itself under something."

"I had many times where sonar audio devices flat out wouldn’t work properly and required a restart or reinstall to fix, and I got tired of it."

"The HP10 will last 1-5 months. ... The new motor assembly is comically terrible on the new fans. ... They will develop an unbearable grinding/screeching sound."
"Dyson air purifiers just aren't good... Not for particles or VOCs ... The Dyson has a much lower clean air delivery rate, about a sixth of the cheaper machine, so it just handles a lot less air. ... The Dyson is able to clean the air in my room about 2 times per hour, vs 11 times on my new machine. ... the Dyson only has a clean air delivery rate of around 160, which is extremely low for its price range (for the price they tend to be at around 400-600), and it only has 150 grams of carbon. These are the specs of a low end machine. Similar to what you will get with a machine that's about $100. ... The real issue here is that the Dyson has a smaller and less powerful fan, smaller filter, and sirculates less air. It cleans the air in my room 5 times per hour, while the cheaper one cleans it 11 times per hour. ... they continue to show a performance equal to low midrange purifiers... Purifies that are half the price. ... They are under powered air purifiers. They have the same air purifying performance as machines about one third of the price."

So I’ve been through a medify air m40 and a Dyson tp10 I think it was just their basic hepa 13 model. I recently got a molecule mini + and I stopped sneezing randomly/constantly in my apt. I think it’s funny because they are such a “scam” and or least not like factually on paper a good product….its working for me and I can’t really complain
r/AirQuality • What is the best air purifier out there? ->Why Dyson, they are literally the worst AP on the market
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->Low quality parts. They market well using fancy CGI but the reality is constant maintenance and very expensive cheap parts that fail even after 1-3months Dyson is the most talked about vacuum when it comes to failure and shoddy workmanship
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->My dad has one and like many customers he's never changed the filter or cleaned the pre filtration system.......it now blows meat flavoured air hahahaha
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->Dyson is probably the best in my experience. I’d fart and it’ll start doing its thing when its on auto as you can hear the fan switching to high. My Levoit air purifiers don’t do that, they ignore my farts.
r/smarthome • Best air purifier for home on the market today but not too pricey $400+? ->I have the tp10. Bought used from fb marketplace. There’s so many models for some reason but if you are getting one make sure you get wifi enabled models. There was a refurbished model yesterday on woot that I was about to pull the trigger for another room but it wasn’t wifi enabled.
r/smarthome • Best air purifier for home on the market today but not too pricey $400+? ->I had the Dyson. It had very frequent problems necessitating bringing it back to the store to be fixed. I wouldn’t recommend it.
r/BuyItForLife • Need Help Picking The Best Air Purifier! Any Advice? ->I got one of the Dyson ones that oscillates. It's amazing.
r/dubai • Air purifier recommendations? ->First, any premium item with that big of a discount is usually "worth it". Secondly. The Hot/Cool work great. Bought my first about 6 years ago when it was called the HP02 Link model one of the first to use wifi/app. The HP02 saved us during a freeze with no power for days...hooked it up to the portable generator to keep our room warm. Then we decided to add another Hot/Cool 4 years ago HP04. We also have a Pure Cool. No issues on any, just regular maintenance like changing filters. We are happy with them all and the app to control and review data. I think the AM models don't have wifi/app capability...I was researching them recently to add another hot/cool.
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Are air purifiers worth buying for pets? Which options would be the best you've tried? ->Dyson Pure Cool works very well. It’s not cheap though. Highly recommend.
r/Thailand • Chart comparing popular air purifiers that are available in Thailand ->Tried a Dyson Pure Cool in the past. Nice design, but even on night mode the airflow was too much for light sleepers like me
r/AirQuality • Air purifier for dorm room ->Same one I have, and I paid less than that for it new!
r/dyson • Which Dyson fan/air purifier is this? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
