I, personally, would not buy a Dyson purifier or anything of the sort from them directly. Please be advised by all of the other commenters warning you of their god-awful customer service. I've switched to only purchasing from Nordstrom/Costco, so in the event of needing to return it or activate a warranty, I can. I have one TP07 and one TP7C that work phenomenally (both ~4 years old), but at least I can rest assured knowing the return process won't be a hassle. I highly recommend if possible!
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->Yes it has gone down since late last year. I have a notification set up just in case they ever sell them again. I have 3 TP09 and 1 TP07 (the TP09 are the golden ones, that is the one I later got for free new) and the tp07 was the first I bought
r/homeassistant • Best Air purifier in 2025? ->I tried a Dyson TP07 once, but it felt pricey for my budget, so I leaned toward Coway Airmega because it handles pet hair and dust pretty nicely.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->Thanks for your response, mate. Initially, I just wanted an air purifier for my bedroom, which is 25 m². The Dyson did a decent job, but I noticed Dyson doesn’t have the best reputation on this subreddit. I considered buying the TP09 again, but I’m not fully convinced about its long-term build quality. The one positive is their customer support—it’s easy to reach, and getting a refund was smooth. I used both the TP09 and TP07 for 45 days before returning them without any hassle. While my main focus is still the bedroom, I’ve realized how much an air purifier can improve indoor air quality, so that is why i am looking to cover a larger area. • The Coway 150 covers up to 73 m², with a pre-filter, activated carbon, and green HEPA filter. The CADR is a bit low at 281 ㎥/h, and I’ve read that some people have had issues with a weird plastic smell from the unit. • The Winix zero+ pro covers up to 100 m² and has a pre-filter, activated carbon, and HEPA filter. It has a higher CADR of 470 ㎥/h and is the closest option I’ve considered buying. However, I’m not sure how effective it is for VOCs and odors, and reviews about their customer support are pretty mixed.
r/AirPurifiers • Looking for an air purifier in Australia that effectively handles dust, smoke, mold spores, and odor/voc removal ->I picked up a Dyson TP07 for my living room and it cleared pet hair and dust in minutes on medium.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->I adopted a rescue pup and was surprised by how much hair my Dyson TP07 pulls out of the air with its HEPA and carbon layers.
r/Pets • Advice on choosing the best air purifiers for pets - Are they really worth it? ->I grabbed a Dyson TP07 last spring and it’s quietly pulled pet hair and dust out of my living room without me even noticing it’s on.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->I bought the Dyson during the wildfire smoke It really works
r/homeowners • Advice on choosing the best air purifier for home among tons of options available today - Do they really work or are they just a SCAM? ->I swapped out my old purifier for the Dyson Air Purifier Cool TP07 in my main living space and I noticed cleaner air and less dust on surfaces within a day.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->I installed a Dyson Air Purifier Cool TP07 in my home a few months back and noticed a clear difference in the air quality. The unit does a solid job with dust, pollen, and other allergens, and it's quiet enough that it doesn't interrupt our daily routines. My family has been breathing easier, especially during allergy season.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->I actually have a HP07 in the same room as my C610. I have to vacuum the Winix about once a month and can tell it's collecting dust. I don't see any dust on the Dyson Filter, just laying on the outside of the unit.
r/AirPurifiers • WINIX C610 on sale at Costco for $99 ->How did you manage to research so thoroughly yet still consider including the Dyson? not only that - in an 80-100m² house? Moreover, the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of the Winix Compact 4-stage Air Purifier, Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09, and Dyson Purifier Cool Purifying Fan TP07 is not suitable for larger room sizes. These units are more effective in smaller spaces, and their CADR values do not match the requirements for adequately purifying larger areas. You need at least 5 ACH (on low or medium fan settings for low noise) to make the Air Purifiers actually works. Air purifiers are most effective in small rooms. To ensure optimal air quality throughout an entire house, multiple units are necessary. The higher the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), the faster it can purify the air in a given space. However, Dyson is the worst of them all. And, none of the machines mentioned are sufficient to clean a medium-sized apartment (80-100m²) on their own; they are best suited for individual rooms. Please using these information below to research again: \- To effectively combat dust, you'll need a HEPA or MERV filter. \- When it comes to VOCs and odors, the more activated carbon present, the better it will be at eliminating them. \- Last but certainly not least, the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) is the most critical factor to consider for overall air purification efficiency. It MUST be at least 5 ACH
r/AirPurifiers • Looking for an air purifier in Australia that effectively handles dust, smoke, mold spores, and odor/voc removal ->Same, been brilliant so far.
r/homebridge • Best Homebridge/HomeKit Smart Air Purifiers? ->Big + quiet is better for you then. And if you don’t want to shell put this much, then basic dyson cool model is also good. (However, the airflow is not that good). I had it but got it replaced under 30 days money back guarantee. Dyson cryptomic is also good but availability of this is a challenge. My previous order got cancelled and then had to settle in for hot+cool.
r/gurgaon • Should i get an air purifier? ->I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation.
r/homebridge • Best Homebridge/HomeKit Smart Air Purifiers? ->I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Are air purifiers worth buying for pets? Which options would be the best you've tried? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
