We have the Dyson HP07 Hot and Cool Purifier and it operates flawlessly. They are a little pricey but we are pleased with the performance.
r/dyson • Are the bladeless fans any good? ->I actually have a HP07 in the same room as my C610. I have to vacuum the Winix about once a month and can tell it's collecting dust. I don't see any dust on the Dyson Filter, just laying on the outside of the unit.
r/AirPurifiers • WINIX C610 on sale at Costco for $99 ->I own an HP07 and am very happy with it! I also own the previous gen model and I’d say they’re essentially the same just a fresher design. Just keep in mind if you live in the US you won’t be able to control the heat through the Dyson App. I live in Canada and went with the HP07 over the AM09 because I wanted to be able to control the heat from my phone. So you could save a few dollars if you don’t need the smart features (they’re nice to have).
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->I’d go for an 07 if you can if you want WiFi / app control which is really good imo
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->I got a dyson for few reasons: the model i chose has heating, the fan moves, so u can drect the air to a location in room, works with alexa, refurbished on a discounted
r/AirQuality • What's the best pick of home air purifier that you've ever used for improving indoor air quality? ->Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link. I think it’s from 2016? The filters are a continuing cost but overall very happy with it.
r/BuyItForLife • Avoid Dyson fan/air purifiers ->I feel for you, OP. I am an allergic-to-everything person to the point that I've needed to move homes to get away from paint, varnished wood, carpet, etc. The biggest trigger for me, though, and maybe for you is any centralized heating and cooling system. The systems' filters don't matter - the room's unfiltered air is also being blown in your face. I haven't found a purifier that can offset this problem. I don't use ACs and all my heat is water-based or electric. I experimented with Dyson - if it's the model that provides heating or cooling, there is a chemical in the device that can cause reactions. You can also be sensitive to the material in any carbon filter, like coal. The imperfect journey continues, but I ended up getting a custom purifer from Aller Air and I use it in the same room as a Coway HEPA. One for gas and chemicals, one for particulates. It still doesn't save me completely from my dusty old building, but I can now be confident that it's the only issue. Good luck!
r/AirPurifiers • Best HEPA air purifier for home? No ->Dyson customer service is crap. I bought the hot and cold one. From the box, it wouldn't track the pollutants in the air when i paired it to my app. I thought since it was a new pairing, i needed to give it a couple days for a reading. I forgot about it. A couple of weeks go by and my wife reminds me that there's still no reading. So I called customer support. We tried trouble shooting it. No go. Then we had a video call and did more trouble shooting. Nada. Then they said I could pay to send it in and they'd take a look at it. I said "over my dead body, it's 2 weeks old!" Then they said they'd pay for shipping. At this point, I was pissed. I said I wanted them to send me a new one and I would send it back. They said no can do. I ended up contacting Amazon and getting a full refund. Yeah, screw Dyson.
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->I have a hot/cold Dyson that runs daily. I got it in 2020 and if my house were on fire, I would save my fan!
r/Costco • Need Help Choosing an Air Purifier from Costco—Totally Lost Here! ->I’ve got both a breville (for a medium sized room, cost about $100) and a Dyson hot+cool with purification ($545 on sale at JB now) and both are great and non-wifi!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best non-wifi air purifier for baby’s room- Australia ->We use the Dyson Hot & cool air purifier, definitely not the cheapest option but it saved us getting a fan heater for the few cold days we have in winter.
r/HongKong • Seeking Air Purifier Recommendations ->I’ve been very happy with our Dyson hot/cold air purifier. It’s so satisfying hearing the dog fart and three seconds later it boosting up to remove the “environmental threat”.
r/BabyBumps • Are there any Good Air Purifiers for Pets on the market today? ->i splurged and got the dyson air purifier that also works as a fan and space heater. personally, it was well worth the investment. i'm able to monitor the air quality, humidify and temperature in my home through an app.
r/TwinCities • Air Purifiers Worth it? ->I second these. We made them for my pottery studio in the basement and for the area with the cat box first. We literally cannot smell the cat box at all now- until it’s time to change the filters! They work really well for their purpose and I’d recommend at least trying it since it’s going to be a lot cheaper. We also have two dysons- they’re heat and cool with an air purifier- and not only do they not seems to do much of anything to the air, they also have expensive filters and get mad when you use an off brand one. (They are absolutely awesome for temperature control in a 100 year old house, though.)
r/BuyItForLife • Mega allergy sufferer, what's the best damn industrial air purifier I can possibly get? I just need it for a small apartment, but I don't care, I suffer so badly that I'll blow $1k if I have to clean every molecule from my sleeping environment. ->Yes I have two and sold a third. I also have a Molekule but prefer the Dyson especially since it’s easy to transport when I travel and the remote comes in handy to not have to use WiFi when traveling. The fact it has heat and cool too just make it a win win!
r/dyson • Advice - is this worth it? ->Same, been brilliant so far.
r/homebridge • Best Homebridge/HomeKit Smart Air Purifiers? ->Just never buy from blue air directly. They won’t help up if a package is lost. I’ve used a few other smart purifiers. The Dyson ones suck at dust and the smart part works with Alexa and google home only and it’s very buggy. It needs to be reconnected often. Just got a lg 360 and it’s good other than the wifi module in the unit. It loses connection frequently and also is limited to their app. It briefly worked in Alexa and google home but often non responsive. It does have built in air quality sensor though. We also had a blue air sense model several years ago. That was one of their first smart models. It had to get WiFi reset about once a year and didn’t support a lot of integrations. Eventually the WiFi module failed on it. We have business grade wifi (Cisco Meraki mr56 x 2 APs). so it’s not like budget consumer WiFi routers.
r/AirPurifiers • In need of smart air purifiers ->I’ve been using Dyson (wifi) with Homebridge and it’s been reliable. Most of the parameters does sync and work with HomeKit automation.
r/homebridge • Best Homebridge/HomeKit Smart Air Purifiers? ->I have a Dyson, BlueAir, and Levoit in various areas of the house. Levoit is near the litter box and is loud but does a good job - we never smell the litter box. Our favorite is the BlueAir in our bedroom - we keep it on auto mode 24/7. It’s super quiet and seems to work well. The Dyson is our most expensive one and we would probably not buy again. We like that it’s also a fan when it’s warm, but it doesn’t perform any better than the BlueAir which was a fraction of the cost.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Are air purifiers worth buying for pets? Which options would be the best you've tried? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
