Honeywell - 50150-N True HEPA Allergen Reducer & Germ Fighting Air Purifier

I have Honeywell and Levoit HEPA ones in my home and I like them. I have a large one in my living room I turn on at night and off in the morning and smaller ones I run in the rooms. I've found it cuts down on dust and allergy stuff for my family as well as gets rid of cooking smells. I have a 2000sq ft home and supposedly that Honeywell will cycle all the air by morning. I have a cat and dog, which I'm sure adds to all of it. I have tinnitus so the background noise is nice for me lol

Yes, an air purifier helps. The best brand is Honeywell with a HEPA filter. Second is Bionaire with True HEPA filter (purple one), third is Bionaire with the blue filter. Levoit kind of sucks. Don't waste your money on the Pure Enrichment Personal Air Purifier.

Honeywell HEPA. Don't buy an electrostatic/ionizer type "purifier" as it creates O³ (ozone) - which is hazardous (and is also a component of smog).

Honeywell HEPA air purifier, over a 100 bucks but had been running beautifully for theblast 6 years. Filters are expensive though, but as a lady with asthma better be safe

My Honeywell hepa filter is about ten years old now. The filter is clogged light has been on for years though (yes I’ve replaced the filter several times) These devices really should last a long time, it’s just an electric motor.

You can get a HEPA filter air purifier (Honeywell makes decent ones) to deal with PLA and TPU, they dont emit the toxic VOCs like ABS, Nylon and PC, but they do still emit fine particles. Having it enclosed like you do is going to prevent a lot of those fine particles from scattering through the room though so its a big help. As a rule I try to not have my printers in the same room I work, but if you must, that HEPA filter will help reduce the fine particles a lot. For the more toxic materials, absolute best bet is to create a negative air pressure environment while venting outside through a window or port. If you cant or want even more reassurance, running a carbon filter does a lot to help. There are specialized air purifiers for VOCs but theyre not cheap. A really good one you can get is from Heygears, called the GreenPrint Purification Unit. Just know it's specifically for VOCs as it doesn't trap particles, it destroys them (so you still want a HEPA for the fine particles). This air purifier doesnt need filters though, it doesnt trap VOCs like a carbon filter which can become saturated and need replacements. It actively breaks down VOCs, so it just runs indefinitely with full efficiency, no need to swap filters.
