I got v5 but prefilter is attached to the main filter and hence cleaning is not easy. It's not washable. Any suggestions for better cleaning? And in the first 3 days it got dirty.

I got Honeywell Air Touch v5 for 10K and is working pretty good so far. I feel the air is a lot better inside now. The only downside is that for connecting with the app, you need to use 2.4 Ghz channel and most of us are using 5 Ghz nowadays. But you won’t need the app that much as everything is automatic. If you’re bothered by that, go with the Philips one.

I have both and have been using them for the last month. Both are nice and work well. The V1 is suited for smaller rooms. I found it works well for rooms smaller than 200sqft. Also if you don't have air tight rooms or a room near a balcony, the V1 struggles. If you have a larger room or like to keep the window/balcony door slightly ajar, then the V5 is much better. It also has app integration and a pm2.5 display. If you have the money, get the V5. Otherwise the V1 also works great. If your room is quite air tight, then there is very little difference in their performance.

I have a mild allergy to cats (plus two cats) and have two of the Levoit purifiers, one in my bedroom and one in my kitchen/dining room. I also have this Honeywell air purifier in my living room and it's a beast. https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-Insight-Purifier-Allergen-Indicator/dp/B0925HB662/ref=asc_df_B0925HB662?mcid=dbc33dd000693470a46b22473be33714&hvocijid=14345767963337637166-B0925HB662-&hvexpln=73&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=721245378154&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14345767963337637166&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9004882&hvtargid=pla-2281435181218&psc=1

Honeywell airtouch v5. Good, compact air purifier. CADR values are just fine for the price. Replacement filter costs 2500 rupees. Has a 2 year warranty. It's good for medium sized rooms.

I really like the design. It's effective enough for a medium sized room. Mine is 12x12 so it does the job quickly and maintains the quality. Noise levels are fine. I keep it running for 18-20 hours daily. Has a 2 year warranty, replacement filter costs 2500, so that's affordable as well. Smart features are limited, but does the job.

Been using for 10 days. Filter is just fine, cleaned it once. Not that dirty as my mum and wife usually keep the house very clean. Replacement filter costs ~2500 on amazon.

In this budget add ~2k more and buy 2. Mi 4 lite for bed room as its noise less and honeywell air touch v5 or any other like philips or coway(not aim) for other room where noise is not an issue. I dont know about cuckoo but if that is noiseless then u can replace that with mi

I don’t think single air purifier is enough, you need one for each room, i prefer Honeywell air touch v2 for each room and Honeywell air touch v5 for living room. Airtouch v2 comes for 8k and v5 comes for 12k. We have 5 air purifier in total 3 for each room and 1 for dining room and 1 for kitchen and dining area and works well.

You can get a HEPA filter air purifier (Honeywell makes decent ones) to deal with PLA and TPU, they dont emit the toxic VOCs like ABS, Nylon and PC, but they do still emit fine particles. Having it enclosed like you do is going to prevent a lot of those fine particles from scattering through the room though so its a big help. As a rule I try to not have my printers in the same room I work, but if you must, that HEPA filter will help reduce the fine particles a lot. For the more toxic materials, absolute best bet is to create a negative air pressure environment while venting outside through a window or port. If you cant or want even more reassurance, running a carbon filter does a lot to help. There are specialized air purifiers for VOCs but theyre not cheap. A really good one you can get is from Heygears, called the GreenPrint Purification Unit. Just know it's specifically for VOCs as it doesn't trap particles, it destroys them (so you still want a HEPA for the fine particles). This air purifier doesnt need filters though, it doesnt trap VOCs like a carbon filter which can become saturated and need replacements. It actively breaks down VOCs, so it just runs indefinitely with full efficiency, no need to swap filters.
