Have a core 600 and it’s fantastic!
I have a vital 100s in my bedroom. Its great. And one core 600 for the house, that is in way to large of an area but it does what it can and does a fairly good job
My Levoit Core 600S P has been great! Covers a large area and not too loud. But it’s also really important to dust properly. Wand/disposable dusters mostly only rearrange the dust. You need a flannel dust cloth. They’re very soft and pliable and you can dust all surfaces and wipe objects down. Rinse with cold water, no soap and hang to dry. https://a.co/d/0eWm0N18
The regular/Core 600S (not plasma pro) is a beast, and you can run it on low in a bedroom and still get a good CADR. Highly recommend for the price point (~$250)
The Levoit 600S series is quite powerful for the price and is a good choice. If you want quiet, you want to oversize - get a unit for medium to large spaces and run it on low when sleeping and high when not in the room. If you can stretch your budget a little or hunt for a sale, the Coway 240/250/250s or Levoit EverestAir (US only model) are great options.
The displayed PM2.5 value on our 3 Core 600S is completely off by around +20ųg/m3 so need to ignore that and use a third party air quality meter. We have a Core 300s as well for the office which displays correct values, not sure what that's about. Other than that, they are fantastic at cleaning the air! We went for the bigger 600S for our 35m2 bedroom because it allows to have it on lower fan speeds at night for similar CADR as the smaller models at max speed which is too loud for sleeping. We live in a dusty climate and keep the device at speed 1-2 at night and the rooms PM2.5 and PM1.0 are consistently at 2-3ųg/m3 now. Best bang for your buck for sure. Coway Airmega 400 has the same CADR and costs 2x as much for example.
Big fan of our 2x Levoit Core 600S and 1x Vital 200S, with optional smoke filter. Filter replacements are generally once a year (we leave them all on auto 24/7). Our townhome smells fresh and crisp, there is little to no dust, and my BF’s allergies are essentially non-existent at home. Cannot recommend them enough. Good value for the money. They’re very well reviewed on rtings.com for their performance.
Eh. Actual purification performance isn’t great on Dysons though - and I say that as someone who owns 2x TP02 and 1x HP04, and have seen the data on rtings.com for them versus the competition. The only Dyson that is a “good” purifier is the BP (trashcan looking one) but it’s $$$ for its level of performance. I consider them as fans first with some mild purification properties - decent supplements to our Levoits. Truthfully, Dysons are not really worth their prices new; however, they’re are good value as refurbs.
