I second a Levoit. I have 3 different models right now in my house. They’re decent price and they last for years if you replace the filters on schedule. And I run my a few hours a day, sometimes all day. I have the core 300S and the 300S-P with WiFi in my living room and primary bedroom. I have LV-H128 in my kitchen. I used to have the LV-PUR131S but it finally died after 5 years
levoit h128 lumayan klo kamarnya gak gitu gede
I have a levoit LV-H128 beside my bed. Very quiet on low setting. Inaudible. Can add essential oils. I’m convinced it makes a difference to air quality in the room.
Not exactly from ULTA but I have a mini levoit room purifier I like it
I have a couple of small Levoit at home for our bedrooms, and I have no complaints. I agree with getting the biggest one you can afford, it will work more efficiently that way, but if you can only afford a small one, it will still make a difference.
I have a small Levoit exactly like the one on your photo in our small room that has the litter box in my 3-D printer. Every other level of the house has one of the Levoit larger round cylindrical ones. We’re very happy with them, air quality in the house looks pretty good based on two separate sensor gadgets we use.
Levoits are awesome. You’ll be changing the filter on that one pretty quickly. If you really have that much hair floating around, you might want to consider one of their 400 models.
I can second this suggestion- it's a great model!! I'm not confident the air is going to mix down a very long hall to the kitchen by itself (regardless of the cadr of the purifier). If you had the stovetop exhaust fan on pulling air through, or just a regular fan somewhere on low, that might get air moving in from the hall, into the kitchen, so the purifier could pull it through. Re: bathroom- it's my understanding humidity isn't good for HEPA filters and that there's a usage range, but I've operated small ones on bathroom countertops okay. I don't live in a humid area, and my bathroom does not get super steamy. I used the smaller levoit, and a small medify model. (Sorry don't recall model #s).
Air purifiers work remarkably well. We have a cat and dog and I sometimes suffer a bit with cat hair giving me a persistent sickly cough. I bought a small Levoit air purifier for the bedroom and was amazed at how much better I slept at night. I ended up buying a larger whole house air purifier, (same brand). On a normal setting they run silently and barely use any energy. Not sure about other brands but the Levoit purifiers have reusable filters which you just take out and vacuum clean every week or so. I'd buy one if the single room air purifiers and see if it makes a difference. As far as visiting other people's homes, there's not much you can do about it.
We have a Coway and a Levoit and they are both great but the Levoit goes through filters a lot faster IMO but the coway is visually much larger so we keep it in the main living area and the Levoit in BR.
Please don’t take advice from here, find out for yourself: Buy an air quality monitor like the one pictured, https://preview.redd.it/gpgkactfh3sg1.jpeg?width=1320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cdc97dbace6cdeaaca5d25c067fae91e5558927 with VOC, CO2, etc. and depending on which spike for your room, buy a hepa air filter with the matching strength, eg my small farm of X1Cs emit a lot of PM2.5 and TVOC so I got a Levoit that handles double the sq ft of the room and though it has its own detection, I just run it whenever I print. It’s quiet and avoids the issue. But there IS AN ISSUE. It’s different for every space, room, ac system, printer, filament, project etc. You have to sample YOUR air.
