So I haven’t tried that rabbit air one but I did a lot of research a couple years ago when I bought mine and it works amazingly. You have the place it on a high table or chair level with your cigar and ash tray. It’ll suck up all the smoke and after you’re done, leave it on high for 12-24 hours and when you enter the room it’s like nobody ever smoked there. My wife approves and she hates any smoke smell [Levoit Air Purifier](https://a.co/d/6eweyoz)

It is that good, but like I said you have to put it next to your cigar and ashtray when you smoke. Plus leave it on high afterwards for 12-24hrs before you smoke again. I can only vouch for the levoit I put the link for though

Hey people! I've got a small apartment 58sqm/624sft with a Levoit H133 (400 m3/hr / 235CFM CADR) and a small Xiaomi Compact 4 for the bedroom. But the air quality here (Poland) is quite bad and if I want to have good CO2, I need to ventilate, but to do that, I let in so much PM2.5. I like the Levoit and try to run it on max when I am not home or when I'm not actively in the living area. Otherwise it's quite loud. The Nukit caught my attention because it has the following specs: CADR: 240 CFM @ 46.5 dB 173 CFM @ 43.5 dB Uses Ikea filters (readily available in Europe) This seems great because it has the same CFM as my Levoit, which is '54dB', so I assume the Nukit will be quieter. Only issue is, the stated CFM I assume is using a MERV13 filter whereas once I use the more restrictive filter from Ikea, the CFM will drop down (this is an assumption, they don't state what filter this CFM is specifically based on). Is there anything I should know before buying the Nukit? Are there better fans I coud put on that are proven to increase CFM whilst keeping the noise the same? Or is there a better overall solution? I am open to buying a retail unit but they tend to do a lot worse when they are not running on max, and I still want some decent CFM even if the thing is not set to max.

Portable hood by the window for capture. HEPA + big carbon purifier running high during + a few hours after. If money is tight: consider a DIY Corsi–Rosenthal box (for particles) + a smaller carbon purifier or the hood for odors. If money is not as tight and smoke is frequent: consider a smoke-focused purifier with heavy carbon (Winix 5510, Levoit large-room, Oransi TrueCarbon, Austin Air, etc.).

I have 2 Levoit brand purifiers. A smaller one in my bedroom and and a bigger one for living room area. They are quiet, dependable, and have been working well.

r/moderatelygranolamomsTo allergy sufferers (dust mites), what is the best air purifier you've ever tried for dealing with this?

I know exactly how you must feel, as we've been through this all before, it's overwhelming with all the different choices. My partner has a severe dust mite allergy and the first thing we bought was a Levoit true HEPA filter air purifier. Further to that, we bought a Dustro dx6 mattress vacuum cleaner. It removes all the dust mites from deep inside the mattress, UV sterilises it, and applies hot air to it too which apparently makes it hard for them to survive or multiply. Trust me the first time you use it you'll be shocked at what it pulls out - this is after vacuuming our bed daily! A combination of both have made a night and day difference, we noticed the different straight away

Air cleaners/purifiers (I have one in every single room, 2 in the open living dining kitchen area). Some brands offer pet specific filters (I use Winix plasma waves in larger rooms, and Levoit for smaller rooms, both the cylindrical and the rectangular). Regular vacuuming. Blankets on furniture that can be put in washing machines. If you have hardwood, minimize your area rugs and mop once a week, if possible. If you need area rugs, try washable rugs you can toss in the washing machine. I have three dogs, a breed that is notoriously difficult to house train. I keep an armada of enzyme cleaners and a black light on hand. They are also a breed that loves blankets, so I use specially formulated enzyme cleaner in the washing machine when I wash their blankets. The washing machine runs daily here.

We have a Coway and a Levoit and they are both great but the Levoit goes through filters a lot faster IMO but the coway is visually much larger so we keep it in the main living area and the Levoit in BR.

Please don’t take advice from here, find out for yourself: Buy an air quality monitor like the one pictured, https://preview.redd.it/gpgkactfh3sg1.jpeg?width=1320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cdc97dbace6cdeaaca5d25c067fae91e5558927 with VOC, CO2, etc. and depending on which spike for your room, buy a hepa air filter with the matching strength, eg my small farm of X1Cs emit a lot of PM2.5 and TVOC so I got a Levoit that handles double the sq ft of the room and though it has its own detection, I just run it whenever I print. It’s quiet and avoids the issue. But there IS AN ISSUE. It’s different for every space, room, ac system, printer, filament, project etc. You have to sample YOUR air.

levoit is good and has some very affordable options. we have an appropriately sized levoit in almost every room in our house and it helps a lot with allergies. also make sure to change your furnace filter regularly and use merv 13 or higher filters for it

I have this setup. The Google home options to control it are limited. I just end up using their vesync app for scheduling. I do use Google home with it to setup automations for bedtime and stuff.
