"I’m using levoit filters at home and they’re fine and the 2.5 levels are very low. I can also connect them to home assistant which is a big plus for me so I can monitor the filter level(though I’m guessing this is just an arbitrary use based calculation). But I do regret buying them due to the replacement thing."
"the levoit filters were expensive to replace."
"They just wear out their filters sooner."

"They’re not quiet either."
"However, reviewers have noted that the Vital 200S is the better choice over the 100S due to being quieter, more power efficient, and larger."
"I just use them on manual and they are totally fine, a bit noisy though."

"Sorry for not giving specifics earlier. Isn't my 100s adequate? It seems to be on the lower end of space sizes where rates of air purification are stated. ... Can't return it. Just use a window AC unit. I have to research CADR ... Thanks. Nowhere else to need to move it to in my tiny place lol. Too bad the 100s is too new to want to replace and too old to return (bought last fall)."
"I know this is an old comment but I have the vital 100s in our large bedroom and dust still accumulates. ... It seems to help a bit but regular dusting is still required."
Seconding this! We bought this one and it’s working well for us (4 cats) https://levoit.com/collections/air-purifiers/products/vital-100s-p-smart-air-purifier
If you get levoit gotta get the 100S or 200S 200S is better just pricer tho we had wild fire smokes for months in Ontario and I am allergic to dust the 100S served me well, I wish I had gone with 200S but was just to much at the time
Levoit 100S Vital. They sell for about $100 on Amazon Resale under "like new." I have good experience buying via Amazon Resale. And if there's an issue, returns are easy.
I think this gets overstated. The Core series pre-filter just comes with the filter. It’s not much harder to vacuum those than the separate ones in the flat panel units. I say this an owner of Cores, Vitals and an EverestAir.
I have cat litter box smells in my office and my Levoit 100s with knock off yellow pet filters has helped immensely with the smell and general feeling of air quality in the room. My office is almost identical size - 14.5 ft x 10 ft. Remember to run it on max speed for as long as possible then download the app and use the Pet Mode for everyday use
I got the Vital 100s for my room which is like 3x the price and size, but I got to say I absolutely love it and can notice a difference within only a week. People say Levoit is cheap, but I'm sure these are fine for someone wanting to casually clean the air. How big is your room though? You may not get many air changes per hour with this, through my short research recently it seems like you really want to go larger than youd think.
I bought the S100 and arrived, seems pretty good to me, first time you turn it on, it will release some "plastic/glue" smell for a couple of hours, I handled running it at max speed with window opened and it was fine.
I think is pretty good for me. I think it can clean the kitchen smell pretty good at max speed. So Im pretty happy with that at the moment.
I had no problems with dust or animal hair, so I can't tell if it makes some significant difference. But in a small room I think it can make the difference.
I bought the Vital 100S 2 weeks ago about and I 'm pretty happy wth that. It's doing is job and most important in a couple of hourit removes cooking odors from the room.
Been using Levoit Vital 200s and 100s for a bit now and have had no big issues with HA. Would love for them to have been local control but can’t have it all. Sometimes when changing fan speeds to won’t respond right away or I have to change it twice for it to set properly but I generally never have to since the automations run them without issue.
Yes I just edited my post with that information. It's a Levoit floor model.
Sorry for not giving specifics earlier. Isn't my 100s adequate? It seems to be on the lower end of space sizes where rates of air purification are stated. I can upgrade if necessary Thank you all for your help!
It's the vital 100s. I haven't been running the fan high enough for one thing. How is the 200s filter different? Couldn't I use a second smaller unit on the other side of my space to supplement? Might not be practical I suppose Cheers
\^ this. I bought two, very happy with auto mode, which auto-adjusts fan speed based on air quality measurements (not sure how accurate, but good enough for home use). Comes with an app where you can schedule fan speed per your preferences. I'm very sensitive to noise at night and sleep with mine in the room, cannot tell it's there. PS: Filters are inexpensive - just search on amazon. You'll need to replace them at a frequency of 6-12 months, depending on usage.
Levoit is the best - ispaylater mo lang 😅. We have Levoit 100s sa loob ng bahay for us and our cats. Then isang mini levoit sa quarantine space naman sa mga rescue namin na may sakit (2 are unwell for now) until they get better and clear na ng vet. Ang gaan ng paghinga!
