"significantly worse object avoidance than than the Dreame x40 and L40 ... The best feature of the L40/X40/p10 pro ultra is that they have class leading object avoidance so you don't have to pick up your cat's toys or prep your house every time you want to run the robot meaning you can run it on a daily schedule which will keep your house cleaner. ... I run my X40s daily and they never get stuck on cables, cat toys and other random junk that ends up on the floor."
"I can basically always trust my X40 to finish a midnight cleaning session in the dark and wake up to find it sitting in its dock and have clean floors in the morning."
"I think its hands down the best all around option right now, especially once you hook it up to the water line and drain, i run it daily in our house and we got rid of our cleaning help because of it."

"The medify that we have has a super low speed setting which means we can sleep with it next to us and get a nice breeze of purified air while the machine says silent."
"The MA-112 is VERY quiet on level 2 and not a bother on level 3 ... I can say the MA-112 in my Master Bedroom pretty much runs 24 hours on level 2 and I never really think about the unit. Lol. Just watched Pacific Rim again last night and it was business as usual. Never really notice the unit."

"Mind you, the filters are astronomically expensive, and you will need to replace them way more frequently than what’s suggested."
"My new filter just arrived today and I noticed the weight of it was lighter than the previous replacement filter I was using. ... You can see right through where the charcoal beads are that it’s not even filled up all the way like before, so $99 for half the charcoal."
"It will clean air at first but it is cheap and the filter cost will add up over time. The lack of real pre-filters really kills these things."

"the medify one sounds horrible- it has a weird high pitch and i can’t stand it even on the very lowest setting. ... i actually sent it back and they replaced it and the second one sounds the same."
"We have 2 levoits and even on 1 I can hear it across the room with the TV on. ... They both have an ear-piercing high pitched sound that I can't stand."

"I had a medify one and returned it because the AQI inside my apartment was 150 after running the purifier 24/7 for an entire week. ... I shut all my windows and doors and turned my Medify air filter on full. I was then sick for an entire week. Got an air monitor, saw the AQI was at 150."
"The vitals barely reduced PM when I used them."

"the decibels was 30% higher than the max advertised and way too loud to operate at full speed. ... it has to run at a much lower speed to be able to even be in the same room ... they told me to run it at low speed. ... The “sound” was me telling them it’s Running 80db instead of 40-60 as advertised"
"It is very loud. ... Runs 39-60 db, so not too loud for babies ears. But we also dont hang out close by it."

"the filter needs replaced a lot more often."
"people online complain that you must change your filters every 6 months or your lifetime warranty will be voided."
I have two dogs in a townhome and have 3 air purifiers. Absolutely love them. No dog smell. I have one Medify and two Levoit. Just make sure you get one that can actually clean the size of the space it will be in. The downside is buying the filters, but I find it worth the cost, and you can find cheaper, off-brand filters on Amazon.
r/dogs • Air purifier for dog smell ->medify needs more love. those medical grade H13 filters are legit
r/AirQuality • I analyzed 60+ Reddit threads to find the best air purifiers ->I bought 5 Vital (100 + 200) devices and 1 Core. The vitals barely reduced PM when I used them. I switched to Coway and Medify and had much better results.
r/AirPurifiers • is Levoit Vital 100s the best air-purifier? ->I own medify air. I cannot complain about performance. However, people online complain that you must change your filters every 6 months or your lifetime warranty will be voided.
r/BuyItForLife • The Best Air Purifiers? ->My partner and I use Medify air purifiers, I'm generally a fan but haven't tried others so my frame of reference might not be the best
r/Masks4All • When it comes to the best air purifier for home, which options do you think of currently? ->We use medify air purifiers
r/homeowners • To kind homeowners, the best air purifier? What do you use for home? ->I have a whirlpool air purifier that is at least 12 years old that’s still going. I also like medify air.
r/BuyItForLife • Home air purifier. Especially those good for people with allergies ->I’m in the same boat. Wondering what decision you made? I had a medify one and returned it because the AQI inside my apartment was 150 after running the purifier 24/7 for an entire week. I then got a Wellis and I’m doubting its efficacy just cuz I’m like wtf is this technology and I see basically no reviews online. I’m leaning toward air doctor I think? How about you?
r/AirPurifiers • Air Doctor, Winix, Coway, Levoit, Wellis Air ->tbh they're all basically the same. just get whatever's on sale at costco that has a hepa filter. i got some random medify one for $150 and it works fine. people overthink this stuff way too much lol
r/buyforlifetips • Best Air Purifiers for Home Use? Recommendations Needed ->I have a couple of Medify units, which have been excellent. My understanding is that the Coway ones are good too.
r/AskNYC • Best air purifier for NYC apartment? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
