Mila - Air Mini

All of these are HomeKit native: - Mila Air and Air Mini - Smartmi AP2, E1, P1 - AirVersa AP2 - Sensibo Pure I have a Mila Air Mini, Smartmi AP2 and E1, AirVersa AP2 and 2 x Sensibo Pure. All work great! The Smartmi E1 is somewhat limited in that it lacks an air quality sensor of its own but can be used with an external HomeKit air quality sensor such as Eve through automation. The AirVersa is a thread endpoint and router, so you need a thread border router such as an Apple TV or HomePod Mini. Hope this helps!

Let me introduce another option. Mila Air has a bunch of sensors onboard to let you know that it's actually doing the job, and has carbon monoxide detection built in. The only quality solution that is better for air quality monitoring that I know of is airthings, and it's more money and doesn't filter the air. Mila Air Mini would be more than enough for that room.

I bought two, one for my room and one for my living room, I got the Mila Air, and I use The Overracter filter. It's pretty sweet, everything is in app, and it clears all types of smells.

Mila. It’s fantastic. Air purifiers aren’t scams. You are paying for a ready made product vs building one yourself. Thats not what scam means.

Avoid Mila....horrible longevity and I have trashed 8 units that failed so far (5 purchased + warranty replacements). Plus their filters are very expensive. I replaced them all with 5 Winix C545 units a year ago and couldn't be happier. Slim in size, noise is non-existent when I'm on calls, and I have them scheduled to run at higher speeds at times of the day/night when I am not in those rooms. They suck up all kinds of dust and cat hair, and the replacement filters are very affordable, especially if you get off brand replacements that look/act 100% identical.

I can’t claim to be an expert in this topic, but we recently purchased a Mila air purifier and we love it. 

I second the Mila Air. I think it's also a Vancouver company and their customer service is great. Any issues I've had (didn't receive shipment, trouble shooting), they were able to help me resolve the issues quickly. We got the parent filter when I first had my kid. I get really bad allergies and noticed since getting it, it helped a lot. And it detected high VOC levels in my building. We would've never known how bad it was if it we didn't have it.

Mila. Works very well and the accompanying smart app provides great data. Filters do get pricey, however.

We’ve owned multiple Mila, Honeywell, and BlueAir over many years and the BlueAirs are the only ones whose fans have stayed smooth and quiet.

I love my Mila. It is made by ex Apple folks and the attention to details is quite nice.

i had nothing but problems with my Mila purifiers, the company customer support was so terrible. I tossed them. Def wouldnt recommend based on my experience.

My Mila brand has a companion app that shows the different types of pollutants, including VOCs and it does go down when it's running. I appreciate seeing the metrics. In terms of scents, I think it helps a bit, but it takes some time, for instance if my cats use the litter it's not going to immediately make it smell like flowers, but overall it keeps it from smelling in general, equalizing in a short while.

Check out the Mila. I bought the first for forest fires, the second for Covid. They are amazing. The sensor package alone is worth the price.

Just reinforcing your post, don’t buy a Mila, the quality is shit and they hassled me with a replacement. The smart features of these are overrated IMO, just get a purifier that is good quality. I’ve got Coway ones now and way happier with the quality from a purification and build standpoint.

You are right. But Mila has not shit the bed

I don’t have a grey, have an Amazon . We have the levoit core 300s in every bedroom. And the levoit Vital 100S-P, and a Mila air in the kitchen to help with the cooking smells. They both ramp up like even cooking fried eggs. I vacuum the filters about every 2 weeks. It’s amazing how much dust I get from her. I can only imagine with a grey. None of those have the ionizing or UV features. I’ve had them all for a couple years now with no problems. They work great. I get the levoit filters through amazon, reasonable prices.
