My spouse has a genetic lung condition that has placed him on the lung transplant list at 46 years old. We have 2 air cleaners that were recommended by pulmonologists. One is a (1999 year model Rac-3000A) Defender that had belonged to a family member and they gave us, and the other is a Molekule Air Pro. The 1999 model we take with us to a riverside mountain cabin that smells musty since itβs not used frequently and it clears out the smell in about an hour in the 400 sq ft lofted cabin.
r/AirPurifiers β’ Filter Queen Defender Air Purifier- Worth it? ->That looks like a nice air purifier! And looks like they were trying to copy Blueair in the looks dept :-) . I personally despise Electrolux AB though.....bought an Electrolux UltraCaptic bagless canister vacuum in 2015 for messes I don't want to use my bagged canister vacuum on. Within 6 months of buying it, went to go buy spare filters and they were already discontinued!!! And this wasn't a cheapie from Wal Mart either - this was a $700 machine. I much prefer and use my Aerus Electrolux 6500SR bagged canister on a daily basis, and that machine will have EVERYTHING parts wise for decades to come. As for air purifiers, I have a Filter Queen Defender and a couple of the old Honeywell round HEPA air purifiers that work well in my household.
