Over the past 6 years I've cycled through 3 Philips models: the AMF220/35 which also has a heater, the AC3259/60 and the AC3033/30. I found/find them all highly effective, but not long after buying each one, a completely differently designed new model came out and Philips stopped manufacturing the replacement filter for the "old" model. The filter for my AC3033 runs out next year and I'm looking to break it off with Philips as I can only find an expensive and unofficial looking replacement filter on Amazon. Any recommendations for makes/models that are effective but don't switch up their design so often? I'm in the UK in a large 2 bed flat. Mostly use the purifier for dust allergies, odor from neighbour's cooking and as an elaborate white noise machine.

Original filters for the Philips AC3033 are available on the Philips website; it seems to be a problem specific to your country. https://www.home-appliances.philips/es/es/p/FY3430_30

Nice, as long they keep offering filters would suck if I buy it but cant use it because they no longer sell filters lmao, I found it for sale at €250 thought it was really good price for its performance its definitely up there with Dysons expensive ones

r/AirPurifiersbreville vs philips: best purifier for a 9sqm room with allergies and cats in Aus?

I got Philips 3000i and it’s been great, massively reduced cat allergy symptoms with 1 cat also in 3x3m (door always ajar for the cat so probably cleaning the lounge air overtime too). It can’t really be too big or “overpowered” especially with the dander from two cats, your room will just be cleaned more efficiently. 2000i and 3000i were highly ranked and recommended in Choice magazine which I think speaks to Philips performance.

We have 2 Philips 3000 series. Filters last about 3 years ( really). Ideal for big rooms and allergies like mine. Unfortunately they stopped producing these. The next gen are smaller but also with 1 year filters.
