Yup, I am using the Philips AC0950 currently.

Pretty good, actually. I just leave it on Auto and forget about it for the entire day. It automatically adjusts the fan speed as needed and delivers good results. I rarely turn it off and I’ve never seen it overheat (though the power adapter does get a bit warm sometimes). It consistently keeps the AQI below 50 during the day and under 20 at night when the room is closed. It comes with a 2-year brand warranty and I also purchased a OneAssist 3-year extended warranty for 1349. I’ll upload a video soon to show how much dust it collects on average.

This has probably been asked many times but i want to buy a parrot safe air purifier, i know ionization and scented ones should be avoided, since the recommended Levoit cant be found in my country, ive narrowed it down to this one [Philips Air Purifier Smart 600i Series - Cleans rooms up to 44 m² - Removes 99.7% of pollen and dust - Wi-Fi connectivity - AC0650/10 : Amazon.co.uk: Home & Kitchen](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Air-Purifier-Smart-600i/dp/B0BX49FQF8?th=1) Anyone has experience with it and if it is totally safe for parrots?| Perhaps this one too as its in a similar price range: [All Specs, Features of Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite | Xiaomi](https://www.mi.com/global/product/xiaomi-smart-air-purifier-4-lite/) EDIT: For anyone interested i ended up buying PHILIPS 1000i for my living room and 900 mini for my bedroom as they use similar filter as 600i but they have the auto/smart features and are bigger (more filtration). Both dont have any ion/ozone/fragrance features. Im placing them to run in a separate room for a bit so they lose that 'new smell' before placing them in the rooms where my birds roam

a long time ago my dad killed one of our budgies with paint when he was protecting one of the rooms hardwood floor and the budgie was in the room next to it...I had the memory of this cemented into my brain and now when im older and i got my birdies again, ive been very careful introducing ANY smell in the rooms where they are, i move them whenever there is anything strong smelling involved happening in the house and avoid using anything in the rooms they are in (perfumes, oil/acrylic paints etc, hairdryers, even AC if it was cleaned recently)

For delhi the AQI will remain between 100-150 during sleeping if running on medium speed which is only viable during sleeping as turbo speed is very noisy. Turbo speed can make your AQI down till 10 if the room is properly closed. (But expect it to be still 50 average, if somebody goes out and comes in frequently or after 30 minutes) The silent mode which is marketed for sleeping is useless as it does nothing and AQI remains high. Auto Mode seems useless, just a marketing thing. App Control seems nice and useful, you can even set the timers for switching on and off, you can also see charts of the AQI for a period in the app measured by your purifier while running

In many units the gas sensor is faulty or acting sometimes up. Moreover the amount of carbon in these filters is quite small. You would have to get more professional purifiers to really get gases gone (some editions of iqair). Against particles these filters are great and there are plenty of third party manufacturers of filters. 900 would be more audibly noticeable (small fan, higher frequency), 4200 having a sensor that is somehow useless, so choose the 3200. I would say they would reduce the smell of your furniture with its amount of carbon but don't expect it to keep reducing it throughout the year when you're getting more furniture.

I have a 250 m³/u purifier. Specifically this one PureProtect Mini uit de 900-serie Slimme luchtreiniger | Huisleven Producten | Philips https://share.google/odfmTf8XXEaXS3PjO I ran it in my bedroom of 15m2, when I shale the bedsheet and lotof visible dust in the air, then 5he purifier shows it, and in about an hour it says air quality is good. Seems like it only picks visible dust. Im not sure kf im doing something wrong. Or maybe I should keep running it for about a week

Are you in Thailand? You haven't mentioned a country of residence. $200 USD = ฿6,375.00. A purifier could help with your dog's atopic dermatitis, although it depends on the triggers. For instance, dust mites can be killed off by reducing relative humidity (RH) below 50% or possibly 45% for prolonged periods. Mold can be controlled by reducing RH as well. Both of these would require a dehumidifier. Air purifiers will only remove *airborne* mold spores/fragments or dust mite allergens. Purifiers can remove airborne pollen, although large pollen grains will not be captured with the same efficiency. Unfortunately you have to pay more money for quiet operation. For rooms measured in meters, Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) should be 4 to 6 times the room's volume (in m^(3)) where health conditions or allergies are an issue. Let's assume you have a 2.4 meters high ceiling. 20 m^(2) × 2.4 m = 48 m^(3) room volume. You would need CADRs of 192 - 288 m^(3)/h. Options include the [Coway Horizon air purifier (AP-1019C)](https://www.coway.co.th/th/products/ap-1019c) and the [Philips PureProtect Mini 900 Series (AC0950/10)](https://www.philips.co.th/c-p/AC0950_10/pureprotect-mini-900-series). I would prefer the Coway as it has a separate permanent pre-filter. This makes cleaning coarse particulates easier. But replacement filters are probably more expensive than Philips' filters. Keep in mind the CADRs listed for purifiers apply to the highest airflow speed/setting only. Lower settings have lower CADRs which reduces cleaning effectiveness.

I use Philips mini 900 and 1000i series. I researched around and my criteria was I wanted WiFi control, HEPA + charcoal filters, room size. I’m pretty happy with Philips so far. Nothing to complain. Do check your room size and buy the appropriate air purifier size. Too small of a purifier is gonna do zilch in a large room.
