I like blue air. They’re high volume air filters, not full HEPA, but very close and should be good enough for allergens. For comparison the 211i max does 1500 ft2 in 30 minutes compared to 1000 ft2 with the rabbit A3 and is half the cost. The filtration level is less but the filters are cheaper and there is an allergen filter option. I’d also recommend getting filters for each major room you spend time in (living room, bedroom). Being 100 years old I don’t imagine you have an open floor plan so tailor your filters to suit the space you have them in. Think of each room as basically separate so you’re not filtering 3000ft2 you’re filtering 400ft2 several times.
r/BuyItForLife • Air purifier for 3000ft2 100 year old home with a dog and two small children ->I’m really happy with my Rabbit Air. I got it when I moved in with my now-husband…. Old dusty apartment, we had a dog that I was allergic to that slept in the same room. It genuinely helped me sleep, I wasn’t waking up fully congested and wasn’t taking my rescue inhaler all the time. I also have 2 Winix units because the Rabbit was very expensive. But they are not as good. They’re good. Just not as good.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->Clean it regularly and make sure you replace the filters when due. I have a Rabbit Air I bought over 15 years ago, and it's still going strong.
r/AfricanGrey • Rabbit Air Purifiers ->I'm a pretty big fan of the Rabbit Air Minus A3. It works really well, stays quiet, probably the best on the market for smoke, a good size, and you can wall mount it to save space.
r/AirQuality • What’s the Best Air Purifier to Buy Right Now? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 ->Love our rabbit air + the replacement filter packs
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->I love my Rabbit Air purifier
r/AirPurifiers • Best high end purifier with relatively limited options. ->I use a ton of Govee products for my home indoor and outdoor lighting, but, I don’t think I’d use one of their purifiers. I went with Rabbit airs primarily for being able to hang on the wall and the smart features on the app. That being said, I’m sure there’s better out there but the rabbit air met me in the middle of functionally and install requirements
r/AirPurifiers • Bought Govee Air Purifier 2 based on fake Amazon reviews. Is it worth it or should I return it? I live in USA. ->Another vote for Blueair! We have a couple different models and really like them (their customer service has been horrid though, I swear it's just one overworked dude running it). We also have had a Rabbit for about 10 years and that thing is sturdy and effective! Highly recommend
r/moderatelygranolamoms • What are the best air purifiers that you'll recommend for home currently? ->I have a rabbit air purifier and I really like it a lot. Only have to change the filters once a year and they’re not terribly expensive.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->If money isn't a problem Rabbit A3 in the biggest room and another minus a2 where you spend most of your time.
r/BuyItForLife • Air purifier for 3000ft2 100 year old home with a dog and two small children ->This is the correct answer. Owned an A2 and Upgraded to an A3
r/BuyItForLife • Mega allergy sufferer, what's the best damn industrial air purifier I can possibly get? I just need it for a small apartment, but I don't care, I suffer so badly that I'll blow $1k if I have to clean every molecule from my sleeping environment. ->Rabbit A3 is expensive but it's very very quiet and filters a lot of air.
r/BuyItForLife • Good quality air purifier ->I recommend rabbitair A3 for air purifiers you want to keep in your room. It’s quiet enough not to notice its even on
r/BuyItForLife • Good quality air purifier ->I purchased a Rabbit Air A3 in Black with the Toxin Absorber filter yesterday! (It arrives Friday!) [https://www.rabbitair.com/products/a3-air-purifier?variant=32939531075607](https://www.rabbitair.com/products/a3-air-purifier?variant=32939531075607) My sister has the model lower, MinusA2 model, and loves the RabbitAir brand! The company is based in Pasadena, and the local place it ships from is located in Downey, CA.
r/AirQuality • Los Angeles fires: air purifier recommendations ->It has one, high-grade granular activated carbon filter. I have a small bedroom, so it should be good.
r/AirQuality • Los Angeles fires: air purifier recommendations ->We're using them in the bedrooms since we have a very open-floor plan downstairs, so I'll be easier to clean the air in the bedrooms, than the large living room/kitchen area floorplan downstairs.
r/AirQuality • Los Angeles fires: air purifier recommendations ->Friend lent me their Rabbit Air Purifier. It’s frickin amazing and took all the smoke smell out of my apartment from the Sunrise fire. They’re $750 so not an everyday purchase, but worth it IMO.
r/LosAngeles • What air purifiers are you using that’s helping during fires? W. no ozone and BPAs? ->An air purifier may help rid the air of biological contamination from the urine, but I don't know how well it will address the odor if it's too strong. My recommendations based on personal experience with Air Purifiers (though not specifically for urine) would be BlueAir purifiers and RabbitAir (if you have the money). RabbitAir stopped d@mn near all allergies in my house, and it tends to be used in cigar shops. In fact, call a cigar shop and see what they use. I didn't know they used purifiers until a coworker said it. 🤷🏻♀️ Either way, I highly recommend Woolite Advanced Pet Stain Remover Spray. Use it whenever/wherever incontinence has occurred, along with any other cleaning routine. It may seem weird, but I used it when I started potty training one of my kids. My daughter had undies on, but would still pee everywhere. She wouldn't exactly tell me that, of course. I'd run across random wet spots throughout the house 😒. I'd use the Woolite to immediately address the spot and put a little pad over it to mark the spot until it dried. It sanitizes and it smells pretty good. I also like the Febreze Sanitizing Spray. Not the other ones, just the Febreze SANITIZING spray with an Orange cap. It has a good scent. Hopefully you find what you need and can maybe convince FIL to at least use a portable urinal when he feels the urge. My dad doesn't have dementia, but he's old enough to find the bathroom process too overwhelming for him. He has found a bedside urinal to be quite helpful to him. Just a thought!
r/CaregiverSupport • Air purifier for urine smell ->The filters don’t come out clean. It’s a RabbitAir and works very well. Maybe because mine are all Conures and that’s maybe a blue and gold?
r/parrots • air purifiers are Essential ->I have a RabbitAir and I love it, the amount of dust that thing collects is impressive and I have a dog and a cat.
r/BuyItForLife • The REAL best air purifier - I HATE DUST! ->Get a Rabbitair. They have a buy one get one half off. Expensive but great.
r/Costco • New Shark MAX air purifier think my house is cleaner than heaven itself (or it’s just broken) ->I have a RabbitAir and I love it
