I have Rabbit air and an LG Puri-care 360 dual filter air purifier for my stand-alone units and installed into the HVAC, the phenomenal aire and air scrubber plus. I use 3m filtrete premium allergen and ultra fine particle filters in the air intakes changed every 3 months. I also run the Frigidaire gallery dehumidifier with the pure air dehumidifier filters and keep the humidity in my home very low. My shark hepa vacuum (which is always emptied into the trash away from and outside of the house) helps greatly, too. Mold sucks. It sucks so bad. After an apartment ruined my life 12 years ago when it permanently changed my life and ruined my health, and forced me to replace all of my belongings, I wasn't messing around with moisture, mold or bad indoor air quality ever again in a home. Recovering is physically and mentally like clawing back from the dead. 💀

Clean it regularly and make sure you replace the filters when due. I have a Rabbit Air I bought over 15 years ago, and it's still going strong.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Rabbit Air Minus A3. It works really well, stays quiet, probably the best on the market for smoke, a good size, and you can wall mount it to save space.

I use a ton of Govee products for my home indoor and outdoor lighting, but, I don’t think I’d use one of their purifiers. I went with Rabbit airs primarily for being able to hang on the wall and the smart features on the app. That being said, I’m sure there’s better out there but the rabbit air met me in the middle of functionally and install requirements

r/AirPurifiers • Bought Govee Air Purifier 2 based on fake Amazon reviews. Is it worth it or should I return it? I live in USA. ->

Rabbit Air was recommended by an Umbrella Cockatoo mom! I bought it for my Moluccan super powder making male. They are excellent products and work amazingly well!

I have a rabbit air purifier and I really like it a lot. Only have to change the filters once a year and they’re not terribly expensive.

i would never buy it myself due to the price, but a friend gave me a Rabbit Air A3 from an office he was cleaning out. Its in my basement, and seems to automatically detect stuff pretty quickly. example: - a couple hits of the unflavored/unscented vape from across the room, and it will dial up to max usually. - i also did a quick test of the 3d printer in that room with ABS filament before i moved it to my shop, and it kicked on after a few minutes (it did not kick on using stuff like pla and petg, which dont really offgas at all)

2000 sq ft home and I vacuum every other day at the least and change our AC filter every 2-3 months. We have three air purifiers and could probably use two more. I clean the washable filteronce a month and it’s always dirty! For our kitchen area we have the rabbit air. It’s a bit pricier but has been 100% worth it. It kicks on whenever I’m cooking and is great quality. For budget, we have a standard size winix for our bedroom (got it from Costco and stock up on filters when it’s on sale there or Black Friday) and then a smaller winix for another bedroom. I prefer the standard winix over the smaller winix as the smaller one doesn’t have a removable filter to clean. We also get our air ducts clean by an hvac tech every other year. It gets dusty there! I know some people who got Amazon ones that seem to collect dust fairly well but those brands seem to change models quickly so filters end up being more expensive or no longer sold. Better to buy from a reputable company for sure!

I purchased a Rabbit Air A3 in Black with the Toxin Absorber filter yesterday! (It arrives Friday!) [https://www.rabbitair.com/products/a3-air-purifier?variant=32939531075607](https://www.rabbitair.com/products/a3-air-purifier?variant=32939531075607) My sister has the model lower, MinusA2 model, and loves the RabbitAir brand! The company is based in Pasadena, and the local place it ships from is located in Downey, CA.

It has one, high-grade granular activated carbon filter. I have a small bedroom, so it should be good.

We're using them in the bedrooms since we have a very open-floor plan downstairs, so I'll be easier to clean the air in the bedrooms, than the large living room/kitchen area floorplan downstairs.

Friend lent me their Rabbit Air Purifier. It’s frickin amazing and took all the smoke smell out of my apartment from the Sunrise fire. They’re $750 so not an everyday purchase, but worth it IMO.

An air purifier may help rid the air of biological contamination from the urine, but I don't know how well it will address the odor if it's too strong. My recommendations based on personal experience with Air Purifiers (though not specifically for urine) would be BlueAir purifiers and RabbitAir (if you have the money). RabbitAir stopped d@mn near all allergies in my house, and it tends to be used in cigar shops. In fact, call a cigar shop and see what they use. I didn't know they used purifiers until a coworker said it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Either way, I highly recommend Woolite Advanced Pet Stain Remover Spray. Use it whenever/wherever incontinence has occurred, along with any other cleaning routine. It may seem weird, but I used it when I started potty training one of my kids. My daughter had undies on, but would still pee everywhere. She wouldn't exactly tell me that, of course. I'd run across random wet spots throughout the house 😒. I'd use the Woolite to immediately address the spot and put a little pad over it to mark the spot until it dried. It sanitizes and it smells pretty good. I also like the Febreze Sanitizing Spray. Not the other ones, just the Febreze SANITIZING spray with an Orange cap. It has a good scent. Hopefully you find what you need and can maybe convince FIL to at least use a portable urinal when he feels the urge. My dad doesn't have dementia, but he's old enough to find the bathroom process too overwhelming for him. He has found a bedside urinal to be quite helpful to him. Just a thought!

Funnily enough the brand I like the best ($$) is called RabbitAir. A bunch of years ago I spent a long time researching and this one seemed the best. I still have the original ones I bought, they last well and function very well. Yearly filter replacement for about $100. For my office I got a Coway after learning they manufature some of the filters for RabbitAir (box said coway on it when the new ones arrived). It works well. I also learned that Korea is a mecca for clean air knowledge and remedies, and most of the best ones are manufactured there.
