I have two Shark ones too, I'm happy with them.
One is also near my cat's litter box, mainly because I'm super paranoid about my house smelling for guests.
I've visited too many homes over the years that look clean, but are definitely smelly. I know when you're the one living there, you don't even notice it.
Just a recommendation as a fellow cat owner though, I switched to pine pellets a year and a half ago and there is almost NO smell from the litter box, it really absorbs the urine. Added bonus there's no dust like with clay ones (I don't trust the even the ones that claim they are "dust free".

A 40 pound bag lasts me around 3.5 months with one cat.
I have the shark air purifier. It’s good for 650sq ft and I found it does a pretty good job. Has automatic fan control for power savings, an air freshener pod system, and some nice digital metrics to tell you what % of your air is clean. They claim a never change filter (I still might change it myself one day). Overall no complaints.
I'm perplexed why my filter barely looks dirty at all when it says I need to replace. I'll also have dust bunnies sitting right beside it on the floor lol
It's a shark and wasn't cheap. My neighbor also has a shark and loves it so I'm thinking I have a dud?! Like it picks up cooking smells or when I vacuum, but my neighbors smoking or dust it doesn't seem to help
I have 1 in my condo although I definitely don't run it nonstop. For some odd reason my filter never seems very dirty when I change it but I definitely have dust around so I wonder how well it actually works especially with dust. I used to keep it in my bedroom where most of my dust bunnies seem to be but dust would literally be sitting right beside it. I also never leave it running if I'm not home. I purchased it because of neighbors that smoke but it's interesting what it chooses to pick up. It seems to only filter cooking smells and candles versus various forms of recreational smoking being done around me. If I cook bacon or steak it will immediately go to 0% clean air and run for hours to filter. I have the Shark brand so didn't think I got some cheap one
