hero_of_crafts 0.5He will get used to them. My boyfriend has pretty bad allergies too and the more he is around an animal, the easier it is to deal with. His body grew desensitized to his old roommate’s two cats. Air purifiers also work. I’ve got a little shark one that makes it much easier for my boyfriend to spend the night, and the cats will even crawl all over him.

amphetaminesfailure 0.0I have two Shark ones too, I'm happy with them. One is also near my cat's litter box, mainly because I'm super paranoid about my house smelling for guests. I've visited too many homes over the years that look clean, but are definitely smelly. I know when you're the one living there, you don't even notice it. Just a recommendation as a fellow cat owner though, I switched to pine pellets a year and a half ago and there is almost NO smell from the litter box, it really absorbs the urine. Added bonus there's no dust like with clay ones (I don't trust the even the ones that claim they are "dust free".
