Smartmi - P1

I have two Airversa Purelle and two Smartmi P1 purifiers and I’d recommend either one; with a slight preference for the Airversa for its solid Thread connection, it’s nearly silent auto and sleep modes and speed to react to air quality changes. In my opinion, the P1 has a slight edge from a design standpoint, but a slightly less user friendly setup process. That said, I’ve never had to reset any of these devices once connected to home.  As far as HomeKit connectivity, the reason I chose Apple Home compatible purifiers was to be able to include their various modes into scenes. While they run all day in auto mode, a ‘goodnight’ scene puts them into sleep mode (Airversa also wins here with built-in sleep modes exposed to HomeKit) or maximum speed mode for for 10 minutes when the first person arrives home to ensure the cleanest air. I’ve also got them set up to turn off when a window opens and to turn back on when windows shut, from an energy savings perspective as well as to send notifications when indoor air quality drops when no one but our pets are home.  All these things could be done with any smart purifier, so I would say it’s critical, but I found value in being able to control multiple units at once as well as having them grouped within the same platform for daily access.  All that said, they do run auto everyday when they’re not in sleep mode overnight and would kick into higher speeds if the air quality required it, so the value of the HomeKit connectivity is dependent upon your need or desire to engage with them beyond set it and leave it. 

same here. i was surprised at how well it works and how easy it was to pair with homekit. zero issues in the almost 2 years i've had it.

I bought 6 smart mi p1 and just threw one out because it would randomly make sounds even when off. I got frustrated with kids constantly unplugging.

I have a smartmi P1 I got on sale, it’s awesome. Been going strong for 2 years now and it’s extremely responsive over HomeKit and has never given me problems not even once, unlike some of my smart devices…

I use a Smartmi Air Purifier P1 and it works great.
