I have a Xiaomi Air Purifier ([Mi AC-M2-AA Portable Room Air Purifier Price in India - Buy Mi AC-M2-AA Portable Room Air Purifier online at Flipkart.com](https://www.flipkart.com/mi-ac-m2-aa-portable-room-air-purifier/p/itm010273a3dfea6?pid=APFEMK2ZHSHTAXAF&lid=LSTAPFEMK2ZHSHTAXAF3ORHPN&marketplace=FLIPKART&q=Mi+2+AC+M2+AA+Portable+Room+Air+Purifier&store=j9e%2Fabm%2F3o4&srno=s_1_1&otracker=search&otracker1=search&fm=organic&iid=6a01aada-f33c-47b5-80f2-82f65b2db3db.APFEMK2ZHSHTAXAF.SEARCH&ppt=None&ppn=None&ssid=e6fd2r0vsw0000001763921031834&qH=86f1daf9793b56bb)) bought in 2017. I am using it with a filter that has expired as per Xiaomi app. However, my indoor AQI is hardly going above 30. I live on 19th Floor, and my balcony is almost 500-800m away from the main road, I guess. I have set up automation on it to turn on if AQI goes above 30 and turn off when it drops below 10, It hardly turn on once or twice in a day and that too for a minute or 2. Not sure if my purifier's sensor is faulty or pollution doesn't reach my floor. I don't feel any difficulty in breathing the indoor air.
I have a bunch of Xiaomi air purifiers (2, 2S, 3C, etc) one for each of my rooms and they work well. Tested with an IQAir and Qingping air quality meters. I would just get Xiaomi if they are more accessible / cheaper / have cheaper filters in your region

I'm have the following purifiers for my family of 5. Phillips 2887 and 1215. Mi Purifiers 2, 3 and 4. Coway Airmega 150 and Qubo 1000C. Not sure about replacing filters every 3 months. We clean it once a fortnight or month depending on the pollution. Mi and Qubo give filter replacement alarms. They say 9000 hours to 15000 hours. So not sure how you came up with 3 months. 90 days x 24 hours is about 2k hours of filter use only. I've placed the Phillips 1215 in the kitchen to reduce pollution in the rest of the house. I didn't think much about Co2 but will see if I can monitor. I counter room cooling with a oil based heater since it doesn't alter the room humidity unlike convection based heaters.
Yes. I have Mi 2 air purifier. It is a simple tech, you can change the filter by yourself, and clean the existing filters to give it some more extend life. Only issue is the stock availability of the machine.
I added all my Xiaomi ones - 1st gen, 2nd gen and 4 Pro - to Apple Home via Homebridge. Kinda straightforward and expose data like temperature, humidity, air quality to Apple Home too.
I got my new Xiaomi home to my condo and itβs reading under 5. Not really worth the money. So far.
