I got the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6, but I think most Chinese brands/models should work. I used to have a cheap one in the US, and it worked fine. When I sold it to my friend before I left, he also told me it worked well. My US one (made in China) was PuroAir 240. I don't think they sell it in M'sia.

We bought the Xiaomi Mijia Air 6 and are very happy with it. It’s relatively small, works silent and can be controlled remotely if needed. On Shopee we bought it for less than 4300 THB using some coupons

In Thailand the Xiaomi filters are simple to find. I have a 4Pro and a 6. Both are very good and in Chiang Mai they work effectively and quietly. Recommended

I also have the very old 2S and 4 compact and I can still buying the filter. You can find filters aplenty in Shopee or Lazada. Even off brand ones that are compatible. The Xiaomi Air Purifier 2S is from 2017 so it’s nearly 10 years. Whoever said Xiaomi stopped making filter is just BS.

Hey everyone, Looking for an air purifier because of my allergies. Here are my specs and hard requirements: Room size: 40 sqm (approx. 100 m³ volume). I need a CADR of around 300-400+ m³/h so it can actually cycle the air effectively without having to run on max volume all night. Filter: Must be certified True HEPA 13 at least Budget: Absolute maximum is 200€, but preferably lower. (I'm also looking for something where the replacement filters won't bankrupt me every 6 months). Location: Germany/Europe Sleep-friendly: It's for the bedroom, so the sleep mode needs to be practically silent (under 30 dB), and it is crucial that the display LEDs can be completely turned off. Bonus: Smart features/App scheduling would be great so I can automate it, but not a deal breaker. If available on Amazon Germany even better :) Would appreciate model suggestions! Thanks :)

Update: I went with the Xiaomi "Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6" which has really good specs and everything I was looking for for just 170€, in case someone is looking for something similar. Filter replacements tend to be 40€-50€ every 6 months to a year so thats alright too.

Im using a Mijia 6 air purifier and it works well. It has UV light to clean filter and ionization but some people and pets can't be around. (it can be disabled in app) It's bigger than others but works so well, activated charcoal also gets all smells, and sensors of pm 2.5 and pm 1 seem to work well. After the first day i could smell the difference and even my cat wanted to be around the exhaust of air. Night mode is quiet that i can sleep a meter from it.

Xiaomi. I got the series 6 but in hindsight i think series 4 is good enough.

I live in Pattaya and have mild asthma and I'm allergic to dust and smoke particles. I went to Central to look at air filters and there are a few around 5,000 baht like Mijia, Shark "never change 5" (5 years between filter changes) for 16,000 baht, and just outside Powerbuy they have a kiosk selling Coway which are about 25,000. I'm not rich but if the expensive ones are significantly better than the cheaper ones then it's worth the investment for me. I'm tired of getting sick every time the air quality goes into the red zone. I live in a fairly small condo and when I'm home I'm usually in the bedroom so it's a pretty small area. Any advice? \*edit\* I bought the Mijia Smart 6 for 5300 baht. Thank you for all the replies!

Just before posting this I read a review here saying not to buy Xiaomi because the replacement filters are can be hard to find and the company has a history of stopping manufacturing on various sizes of filters forcing you to buy a new one. Since you recommend it, I guess you don't have that problem? The Mijia they have is the Smart Air Purifier 6. Is that similar to the one you have?
