I just got the MI Air Purifier 4, which initially showed a PM 2.5 level of 22 and reduced it to 6. Now I’m regretting it because it looks like my indoor air quality was already good.

I'm have the following purifiers for my family of 5. Phillips 2887 and 1215. Mi Purifiers 2, 3 and 4. Coway Airmega 150 and Qubo 1000C. Not sure about replacing filters every 3 months. We clean it once a fortnight or month depending on the pollution. Mi and Qubo give filter replacement alarms. They say 9000 hours to 15000 hours. So not sure how you came up with 3 months. 90 days x 24 hours is about 2k hours of filter use only. I've placed the Phillips 1215 in the kitchen to reduce pollution in the rest of the house. I didn't think much about Co2 but will see if I can monitor. I counter room cooling with a oil based heater since it doesn't alter the room humidity unlike convection based heaters.

I’ve had a Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 for about a year now, and it’s been great.

why not go for airmega 250 coway instead of 150? It has bigger coverage and it would better cover your bedroom space. If considering Xiaomi, go for simple 4 (not the pro) since pro has ionizer which generates ozone ( not good) philips- not sure how is the filter availability situation presently but I have heard in the past replacement filters were not available easily Qobo- no idea Dyson- not needed, coway or Xiaomi can clean the air as good as Dyson

New or higher end Xiaomi models (I think 3 Pro and later, 4 normal and later) have a laser particle detector and are dead accurate. Earlier models like the 3H I used to have were less accurate.

I have been using both the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 and the Coway Airmega 150 for a few months now. Best ones in the market rn under ₹20k. Although there's not much fancy stuff on there, the Airmega is just superior when it comes to air purifying. It has a HEPA filter and a separate air filter as well. Downside is no AQI display. (just an LED indicator) The Xiaomi on the other hand has a lot of features. App Control - Alexa compatible - PM2.5 AQI/Temp./Humidity Sensor. It also tells you how much longer the filter will last. It comes with its own proprietary "HEPA certified" filter that you can buy only on [mi.com](http://mi.com); which is kind of a bummer. But does the job. But only 60-70% as good as the Airmega when it comes to air purifying. TLDR: \- Coway Airmega 150 is the best functionality wise \[Prices are a little hiked up rn\] \- Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 is feature packed, if it matters to you. FYI, Both help keep the AQI under 10 at all times when the windows and doors are fully closed. For perspective, I live around the vadapalani area right next to the metro construction. Hope this helps :)
