I just got the MI Air Purifier 4, which initially showed a PM 2.5 level of 22 and reduced it to 6. Now I’m regretting it because it looks like my indoor air quality was already good.
r/pune • Bought Air Purifier as Birthday gift for myself ->Thanks for clarifying but in real life application H13 and what you are calling "true hepa" perform the exact same way, the only difference being one is just the US standard and the other is the European standard(which is higher and more updated IMO). **Quote "H13 is a European HEPA standard often called "medical-grade" HEPA. It captures around 99.95% of particles at 0.3 microns, H13 filters can often capture particles down to 0.1 microns effectively, making them highly effective in real-world applications."** H13 is not 99%, it's 99.95%. Also, actually the latest Mi sensors(those in mi air purifier 4) are pretty accurate, here's a real world comparison: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ1gPqyaLzk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ1gPqyaLzk) Please share the Pm2.5 sensor results after running the Royal Fan one, I have check it with the sensor and it wasn't close to H11 level filtration
r/Lahore • My first Air Purifier and it's a life changing purchase! ->in my case may mga pets kami and yung xiaomi smart air purifier 4 na gamit ko ay nakakatanggal talaga ng amoy and nag pe prevent ng allergic rhinitis dahil nakakalinis talaga ng air sa room. pwede mong i check yung full specs sa [orange](https://s.shopee.ph/5AaItKhWSu) and [blue](https://c.lazada.com.ph/t/c.YFPgqW) apps.
r/ShopeePH • Xiaomi air purifier opinion or other reco? ->Xiaomi 4 (global version) not the CN version on shoppe -cheaper filter replacement -phone app Or winix
r/Thailand • Air Purifier Recommendations ->Don’t. Xiaomi doesn’t have a prefilter so will mess up your hepa faster. It also locks out your purifier once the filter life has reduced to zero according to its sensor which is a gimmick.
r/AirPurifiers • Which Purifier to Buy in Delhi? ->Yes. On fan speed 3 i would say it makes just as much noise as a ceiling fan. I have mi air purifier 2, 3 and 4 (models) lol. All of them have noisy-highest efficiency to quiet-lower efficiency modes. Have been using them for 3-4 years now so I guess I'm just used to the noise. It's like when u first turn on the fans in the beginning of the hotter months you notice the sound for a couple of days but later on just forget the noise. You'll get used to it. You can also go into automations in the mi app and decide the logic like 0-100 go fan mode 1, 100-200 go fan mode 2, above 200 go fan mode 3. I have just set mine to fan 3 all the time. I'd rather have cleaner air with more noise. My bedroom aqi is around 20, and living room around 60 (which jumps to around 400-600 when cooking is done or doors are opened for someone to go in/out the house)
r/gurgaon • New to Gurgaon and planning to stay for 1-2 years max, what air purifier should I get? ->New or higher end Xiaomi models (I think 3 Pro and later, 4 normal and later) have a laser particle detector and are dead accurate. Earlier models like the 3H I used to have were less accurate.
r/Thailand • Air Purifier Recommendations ->I'm using the [Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite](https://s.lazada.com.my/s.ojMYP) and the [Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4](https://s.lazada.com.my/s.ojMbw) at home. My mom started having runny nose every single day mid last year and so we decided to get these 2. It actually helped her significantly. Both of them offers more of less the similar features so you can see which one you want to go for Plus points in my opinion is the ease of use. Simple control on device and shows you the filter health and can choose different modes. If you want more controls, the Xiaomi app is pretty good. I've set automations for when I want it to turn on and off based on air quality and time of the day so I don't have to worry about turning it on or off. I can just leave to office knowing it'll manage itself. You can see the filter health on the app too. Replacement seems to be simple, I managed to remove it to take a look but haven't replaced since health is still at 79% I've tried Coway Air Purifier before, took it for a week from my sister before getting these Xiaomi ones. It's way too big, kinda loud and it's a subscription based so you gotta pay monthly which I feel isn't worth it at all Edit: The Xiaomi Air Purifiers can also get loud but only when the air quality is bad and over 100 reading. I've only experienced this when mom is cooking or had contractor do some fixing at home
r/malaysians • can recommend me good air purifier? ->I unplugged the ionization on my ap4 xiaomi.. Is it now safe for use, we have pets?....
r/AirPurifiers • DO NOT BUY MOLEKULE ->Coway is the best in industry. I can recommend Mi AP4 as well. It has everything that you need
r/gurgaon • Air purifier buying guide ->I think people confuse between AQI and PM2.5. I have Mi AP4, and it shows PM2.5 reading instead of AQI. And I also have a AQI meter which shows both AQI and PM2.5. And Mi one shows the accurate 2.5 reading as the AQI meter. Honeywell is also good but I would rather go with either Coway for best purifier and Mi for best tech one.
r/gurgaon • Air purifier buying guide ->Go with Coway if you have space. It is the best purifier. Otherwise Mi AP4 because of its compact size and tech features. And just go with AP4. The money you will save on lite is not worth it. I have the temtop P10 Air Quality meter but honestly, I got it because I was paranoid about the purifier working and wanted something to check it’s quality. But after the first week, I have rarely used it. Save your money, the purifiers work and you will know automatically if they are working or not. The AQI indicator on them are good enough.
r/gurgaon • Air purifier buying guide ->The sensors on many of the cheaper air cleaners are not that great. Just make sure you get an air cleaner that fits with the size of the room and you'll be fine. Low price : XPXHome with an extra filter many times for around 750-800 thb Medium : Any Xiaomi, which you can control via an app if you want.
