Based on 1 year's data from Feb 24, 2026 How it works
I've had the Xiaomi Smart 4 Pro about a year now; I'd compare it to an Apple experience. The app is slick and stable, the features are satisfying and there's plenty to tweak for automation and comfort. The modes are fine, not disturbing in sleep. AQI readings, temp and humidity in the app and on the display. Simple setup, takes a few minites and is pretty direct. The performance is...fine. The filter lasted a full 10 mo/s of 3hr/full and bedtime mode/overnight daily. Electricity cost is minimal. Filters are ¥400 and have an rfid encrypted chip so you MUST buy one from Xiaomi. They also 'activate' once swapped out so when the xiaomi app says you have 0% life and need to change that's the end of the discussion. you can't just hose it down and dry it off. Same BS as most ink cartridge manufacturers. Kind of them to send a notification toast gor the xiaomi.com store page to purchase directly. The pocket looters even ask if you want to automate purchases for filters in the future. Bumped it when cleaning once and knocked it over. It wouldn't register a proper seal on the back door after and became useless. I contacted customer care through the app. Only moderately annoying (full language barrier). They sent a tech out to collect it, repair it, and return it pro bono within 72 hrs. I believe the warranty is a year or something. ¥1200 for the 4 pro model. Apartment is 25sq/m and consistently sits at ~005 (PM2.5/m^3). So yeah. It's fine. It's the Apple experience. Pay more, get premium-skinned ego boost with a dash of convenience.
I use the Smart Air 4 for small rooms and Smart Air 4 pro for big rooms. I think there might be a newer model out, and I always get the global version. Been using this brand for years.
I have one of the Chinese xiaomi large format ones, keeps all the dust particles out of the air. You can see the difference in the sunlight. Air purifier pro 4. Strongly recommend, does my kitchen/dining/lounge area no problems. 100m2 ish.
I added all my Xiaomi ones - 1st gen, 2nd gen and 4 Pro - to Apple Home via Homebridge. Kinda straightforward and expose data like temperature, humidity, air quality to Apple Home too.
I second that. I use the Xiaomi 4 Pro and it gets the job done. High airflow, low noise level and HEPA filter quality.
Looks interesting, but not as widely available as a Xiaomi. The Xiaomi 4 Pro and the Smartair SA-600 appear to have the most directly comparible CADR ratings (500 vs 508 claimed) Prices are from Lazada Xiaomi store or WEDO air, an official supplier of SmartAir in Thailand [SmartAir SA-600 Review](https://housefresh.com/smart-air-sa600-review/) Cost: 10900 [Xiaomi 4 Pro](https://housefresh.com/xiaomi-4-pro-review/) Cost 7010 SmartAir Replacement Filter cost (Requires 2X HEPA plus 2X Carbon) 990+890= 1880 Xiaomi Replacement Filter cost (1 HEPA, with built in Carbon filter) 1349 The SA-600 is fully manual, basically a box fan with a filter. The Xiaomi has an air quality meter and an auto mode.
My máme doma tuto od xiaomi https://cisticky-vzduchu-a-zvlhcovace.heureka.cz/xiaomi-smart-air-purifier-4-pro/
Depends. Earlier/cheaper models do give a lower AQI. Higher end models with laser sensors don't. My Xiaomi Pro purifier is much more accurate than my 3H was.
I have cuckoo repsure without copper but if budget is 18k then go for mi ap4 It has app support and better in terms of feature. But if you compare in terms of cadr, cleaning performance then I would say cuckoo is 20 and mi is 19. In my opinion mi ap4 is better if you have 18k
I'm have the following purifiers for my family of 5. Phillips 2887 and 1215. Mi Purifiers 2, 3 and 4. Coway Airmega 150 and Qubo 1000C. Not sure about replacing filters every 3 months. We clean it once a fortnight or month depending on the pollution. Mi and Qubo give filter replacement alarms. They say 9000 hours to 15000 hours. So not sure how you came up with 3 months. 90 days x 24 hours is about 2k hours of filter use only. I've placed the Phillips 1215 in the kitchen to reduce pollution in the rest of the house. I didn't think much about Co2 but will see if I can monitor. I counter room cooling with a oil based heater since it doesn't alter the room humidity unlike convection based heaters.
