About to have 3. Have a Cruz for main home stroller - for pavements, malls, general walking about. Have a baby jogger elite - tough 3 wheeler for rough terrain/beach walks when we go on holiday. Travel stroller - for overhead /carry-on luggage. Not sure on this one so love opinions! Minu is too large. Looking at joolz aer, bugaboo butterfly, leclerc magic fold -- suggestions welcome! Have dismissed the yoyo (horrible fold, too expensive for what it is), and mountain buggy nano which is just too cheaply built
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->The stroller use will last a lot longer than the infant carseat use. Prioritize a stroller that will work for your needs over a compatible travel system that meets your criteria. There is ALWAYS babywearing rather than stroller. I have a friend with a Graco Modes travel system and I absolutely hate the stroller. It rattles SO MUCH and steering is stiff and clunky. BabyJogger City Mini GT bare minimum. We live in a rural village with gravel streets and no sidewalks, so we are no stranger to rougher terrain. My family is also on the farm and we walk the dogs in the pastures sometimes. The City Mini GT can manage the gravel and pastures ok, but there are definitely better options. You can get adapters to click many carseat options into it. BabyJogger City Elite. The bigger, beefier sibling of the City Mini GT. Handles better on gravel for sure. Phil & Ted’s Sport. I had this for the double stroller option and loved it so much. Has the option of carseat adapters and a bassinet. Bumbleride is another great option to consider, and Mountain Buggy.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Looking for trail-ready travel‑system [on] ->I have a Baby Jogger Elite 2 and have no issues with it for running. The Summit is just the next model up and has the handle bar brake. Never used a Thule, but from my research it's a bit more robust and seems to be more popular with hardcore runners than the Baby Jogger.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Jogging Pram recs for marathon partner? ->We have baby jogger elite, which was the biggest I could find before a disability pram. Will probably get the dobuggy stroller too for travel.
r/Autism_Parenting • Stroller for bigger kids ->I have a Baby Jogger City Elite 2 and it is the best pram for rural life (in my opinion). Lays fully, flat, folds up easily into a decent size (you can pop the rear wheels off and on easily as well), isn't too heavy, nice big wheels, and handles rough terrain well.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Pram Recommendations for Bush Living ->I loved Babyjogger City Mini GT for my oldest, he used it up until he was 5 or 6 I think. The newer versions have bigger wheels and the City Elite even bigger, but it has a different footrest and is bulkier all around. Babyjogger also used to have strollers/mobility aides up to adult size, but they branched over that to another name. I can't find it now as it's not available in my country, but if you search for it you might get lucky. But like I said, the GT lasted us through the whole period, then there was a few years of carrying in arms until he was 7. I wish baby carriers for big kids had been available then because he couldn't help at all, he was like a sack of potatoes.
r/Autism_Parenting • Stroller for bigger kids ->I live on a dairy farm, from my experience I recommend the Edward’s and co Oscar, but also check the baby jogger city elite, the Thule range and mountain buggy range. Mountain buggy is great off-road but their pram fabric build is annoying in my opinion
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best stroller for rural living? ->My kids are 7 and 8 and we literally just got down to only a wagon last week. I had 2 single joggers (my sister took 1 a few years ago) and she didn’t want my double. So my husband finally sold the remaining single and the double on his day off last week.
r/Mommit • How many strollers do you have? ->I had 4 at one point (kids are 14 months apart), 2 single joggers (we were training for a 10k as a couple), a double and a wagon. My kids are 7 and 8 now and we just have the wagon that one side comes down and becomes a bench. Plus our dog is getting up there and so she walks a couple blocks and catches a ride now haha.
r/Mommit • How many strollers do you have? ->Four… two doubles and two singles :) One stacked double for the car. A double jogger on the porch. A single jogger at my parents and a single travel stroller.
r/Mommit • How many strollers do you have? ->I have a Keenz and we use it almost every day. We have a 2 and 4 year old who both enjoy it. I also have a single baby jogger stroller I use to run/walk. The Keenz is a nice luxury sport compromise. It has enough bells and whistles, plus sleek design, paired with actual shock absorption and is super user friendly. I already have a waitlist of people whiteout kids who want to buy it off of us when we’re done.
