I love my Baby Jogger Elite.
The stroller use will last a lot longer than the infant carseat use. Prioritize a stroller that will work for your needs over a compatible travel system that meets your criteria. There is ALWAYS babywearing rather than stroller. I have a friend with a Graco Modes travel system and I absolutely hate the stroller. It rattles SO MUCH and steering is stiff and clunky. BabyJogger City Mini GT bare minimum. We live in a rural village with gravel streets and no sidewalks, so we are no stranger to rougher terrain. My family is also on the farm and we walk the dogs in the pastures sometimes. The City Mini GT can manage the gravel and pastures ok, but there are definitely better options. You can get adapters to click many carseat options into it. BabyJogger City Elite. The bigger, beefier sibling of the City Mini GT. Handles better on gravel for sure. Phil & Ted’s Sport. I had this for the double stroller option and loved it so much. Has the option of carseat adapters and a bassinet. Bumbleride is another great option to consider, and Mountain Buggy.
The BabyJogger City Elite is also a great option for farm life and has one feature that you may want to consider; foam-filled tires instead of air-filled. No punctures when running over random fence staples on the farm road.
I have a Baby Jogger Elite 2 and have no issues with it for running. The Summit is just the next model up and has the handle bar brake. Never used a Thule, but from my research it's a bit more robust and seems to be more popular with hardcore runners than the Baby Jogger.
We have baby jogger elite, which was the biggest I could find before a disability pram. Will probably get the dobuggy stroller too for travel.
We have the baby jogger elite which is good for up to 32kgs. I will get the do buggy for travel/shops and then when he outgrows the baby jogger I will get the special tomato 3 wheeler one if he still needs a pram. I’m in Australia so just went for the highest weight and height for the current one then going for compact then the last is the most expensive and hoping he won’t need one by then but at this stage he will.
I have a Baby Jogger City Elite 2 and it is the best pram for rural life (in my opinion). Lays fully, flat, folds up easily into a decent size (you can pop the rear wheels off and on easily as well), isn't too heavy, nice big wheels, and handles rough terrain well.
