I have. At first I HATED the harness but I’ve gotten used to it. I got the GT2 at first and returned it because I was worried it would be too reclined. I think the GT3 sits up higher. So far so good just really annoying the extras you have to buy. I had to buy the belly band so it’s becoming a very expensive stroller. But I wanted a bigger wheel stroller that is compact and this was really the only option I saw that fit my needs. Also the GT3 they fixed the bar in the back by the basket. So it’s easier to put stuff in it. It’s been great for our horrible sidewalks and we just took it to a thinkery museum and it moves great.

I liked getting a double that can work as a single. That said, it's MASSIVE and we have a smaller, single stroller that is our main go-to. Facebook marketplace is awesome for this. I got a baby jogger double with several add ons for $100! Everything is washable and it was good as new after I did that. My first was 2.5 when my second was born. We still use the double now but not as much as when they were both littler.

We live in the suburbs and didn't use a stroller a ton. We had a single City Mini for my first, and I bought a cheap one that had a little seat/stand on the back for a second child. I hardly ever ended up using that one. I did continue to use the single one for second baby pretty frequently. When we visited Chicago when the kids were 3 and 5, I borrowed a double Bob from my sister and it was clutch!

I love my city mini gt2. Two kids and that thing is still trucking. Plus the shock absorber on that bad boy!

3. It would be two but our Graco stroller’s front wheel sprung a leak and we couldn’t figure out how to remove it in order to change out the tube (took it to a bike shop and everything). My husband cut the tube out before I could figure out how to patch it. We have an umbrella stroller we no longer use because our three year old doesn’t fit it anymore and a Baby Jogger City Mini that’s our daily driver when we need it.

For stroller, City Mini GT will work for all ages. Folds completely flat so you can use it from birth. Fits up to 65 pounds, so even most 5 year olds can still ride in it. Handles terrain like a dream. If you plan to do 2 children, the City Mini GT double is also terrific.

At one point we had like 8 lol. They all have such different use cases! A city mini travel system we got when we had our first. Sold it once our 2nd baby was out of the infant car seat. We also had a Doona and loved that. Sold both when he got too big. We had a City Mini double (someone in my parents rich neighborhood was giving it away! And then they paid $$ to ship it to us, lol.) that we just used around the neighborhood because it was too bulky and a pain to take in the car with the second seat. (Sold this one) A evenflo pivot stroller wagon we took around. A $50 costco wagon that folded up and fit in the car really well. For a while we stopped using the pivot because this one was just easier. A double umbrella we only used for traveling or kept in the trunk, it was a pain because it was short so the adult had to hunch to push. But it was small, we took it on planes to visit my parents. (Sold this one, kids are 6 and 3 now) A GB pockit amazing fold up tiny single stroller. Perfect for travel, took it to NYC and on a cruise. A urbini reversi single stroller, we kept that one even though we used it rarely because it was the only one that could recline super flat for the kid to sleep that had okay storage underneath. After we sold the big double stroller we decided to take the kids to Disney World and I realized wagons weren’t allowed. We considered taking 2 single strollers and quickly abandoned that idea and bought a Graco Sit and Stand double stroller on marketplace for $50 that we love and take with us when we go places like the Zoo and stuff now. Good storage, our older kid can stand or sit and hop on and off easily.

It’s my time to shine. I have spent an enormous amount of time researching strollers. I walk a lot with my baby, and we are out and about everyday. I have bought and sold several, and my final conclusion is: there is no such thing as the perfect stroller. There isn’t one stroller that does everything. What has worked for us is having one workhorse of a stroller for around the neighbourhood, and a lighter one for keeping in the car. Here are my recommendations: *Baby Jogger City Mini GT or GT2* This stroller is almost perfect for every situation. We were given a used GT and I love it so much. I bought a bassinet for it second hand, and bought the car seat adapter for our car seat. I took all of the fabric off of it so it was the the frame and it was so easy to transport in the car. It has big rubber wheels, so it’s great on gravel. There is one caveat: it does not do parent facing. My guy has outgrown the bassinet/car seat but is not quite ready for world facing. So the City Mini GT is now waiting for him to get a bit bigger. I can’t wait to use it again. If it had a reversible seat it would be the perfect stroller for every situation. *Uppababy Cruz V2* I bought a second hand one from marketplace to bridge the gap until he is world facing in the city mini. It’s a solid stroller, and easy to get in and out of the car. I don’t think it’s worth the price new, especially after using the City Mini. It doesn’t handle as well and the tires aren’t as beefy. I don’t love it on gravel, but it’s great for shopping and strolling around town. I also bought a second hand three-wheel Peg Pérego Book Scout to use as our neighbourhood workhorse until he’s ready for the City Mini again. It is a BEAST of a stroller and I love love love it EXCEPT the fold is huge and it’s heavy. So it stays at home. It handles like a dream and the tires are huge, plus it has a reversible seat. It’s at least 10 years old and I’m the third owner, so I can vouch for the quality of Peg Pérego products. Conclusions: Three-wheel strollers handle extremely well. I prefer them to four-wheel strollers. If you can find a three-wheel stroller with a reversible seat, that is your best option. There aren’t many out there. Strollers with reversible seats and beefy tires are bulky and heavy, so they are better for keeping at home. The City Mini is absolutely incredible and would be my choice except for the months in between the bassinet and world facing readiness.

See if you can find a used Baby Jogger City Mini to use for your trip and resell afterwards (or keep!). I got one for free second hand from a coworker. Didn’t think much of it, but MAN can that thing handle all the bumps and crazy tree roots in our neighborhood. We can take it on trails even. It’s slimmer than our main stroller (Nuna Tavo), less storage space, but handles amazingly well. Our Nuna is actually terrible at getting over tree roots or uneven sidewalks.
