At one point we had like 8 lol. They all have such different use cases! A city mini travel system we got when we had our first. Sold it once our 2nd baby was out of the infant car seat. We also had a Doona and loved that. Sold both when he got too big. We had a City Mini double (someone in my parents rich neighborhood was giving it away! And then they paid $$$ to ship it to us, lol.) that we just used around the neighborhood because it was too bulky and a pain to take in the car with the second seat. (Sold this one) A evenflo pivot stroller wagon we took around. A $50 costco wagon that folded up and fit in the car really well. For a while we stopped using the pivot because this one was just easier. A double umbrella we only used for traveling or kept in the trunk, it was a pain because it was short so the adult had to hunch to push. But it was small, we took it on planes to visit my parents. (Sold this one, kids are 6 and 3 now) A GB pockit amazing fold up tiny single stroller. Perfect for travel, took it to NYC and on a cruise. A urbini reversi single stroller, we kept that one even though we used it rarely because it was the only one that could recline super flat for the kid to sleep that had okay storage underneath. After we sold the big double stroller we decided to take the kids to Disney World and I realized wagons weren’t allowed. We considered taking 2 single strollers and quickly abandoned that idea and bought a Graco Sit and Stand double stroller on marketplace for $50 that we love and take with us when we go places like the Zoo and stuff now. Good storage, our older kid can stand or sit and hop on and off easily.
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->Best bang for your buck is [Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 with car seat.](https://www.target.com/p/baby-jogger-city-mini-gt2-travel-system-opulent-black/-/A-86993017) We used this until our kid was a little bit bigger and then moved onto the Babyzen Yoyo, but that was almost entirely because we live in Philadelphia and wanted the lowest footprint as possible for going into stores and getting on the bus. We still use the Baby Jogger if we are going somewhere “off road”. We used the Baby Jogger car seat until he grew out of it. No need to change that one until it wasn’t useful. Also, it was really really really nice to be able to move him from the car to the stroller without having to unbuckle him when he was an infant. Just pop the module out of the car seat and pop it onto the stroller adapter.

We got the [Baby Jogger City Mini stroller and car seat set.](https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Jogger-City-Travel-System/dp/B07YCNSM4J/) It was super nice for the first year. Being able to go from car seat to stroller and back without having to unbuckle the kid was really nice. Our kid is nearing 2, and that’s still his car seat. When he could sit on his own, we changed the stroller to the [Babyzen Yoyo.](https://www.amazon.com/Babyzen-YOYO2-Stroller-Black-Canopy/dp/B0857159B3/) That’s the one that hits everything you listed. $450, super light, well built and sturdy, and it packs up so small that it fits in the overhead compartment of an airplane. Just got back from a trip with the kid and didn’t have to check the stroller. Just popped it overhead, and it’s the same stroller we use everyday on the streets of Philadelphia. The only downside is that it’s not appropriate for a newborn. They need to be able to sit up on their own before you can use the Babyzen Yoyo.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->Adore our Urban Glide. But gosh is it enormous haha. We got a used city mini for a travel stroller, and have beat the heck out of it from east coast to west, very happy with it! It’s made it through many subway systems and even some hikes on sand, well packed trails, and rutted out gravel. LOVE the super easy fold in the airport.
r/fitpregnancy • Stroller options: jogging stroller for everyday use as well? ->I have. At first I HATED the harness but I’ve gotten used to it. I got the GT2 at first and returned it because I was worried it would be too reclined. I think the GT3 sits up higher. So far so good just really annoying the extras you have to buy. I had to buy the belly band so it’s becoming a very expensive stroller. But I wanted a bigger wheel stroller that is compact and this was really the only option I saw that fit my needs. Also the GT3 they fixed the bar in the back by the basket. So it’s easier to put stuff in it. It’s been great for our horrible sidewalks and we just took it to a thinkery museum and it moves great.
r/toddlers • Baby Jogger GT3 Reviews? ->I love my city mini gt2. Two kids and that thing is still trucking. Plus the shock absorber on that bad boy!
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->Honestly the bugaboo was too big and heavy for me. I love my Baby Jogger City mini G2. Right balance of ruggid, folding reasonably small and light/easy enough to fold
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller and infant car seat recommendations, budget ~$1500 ->I like our baby jogger gt2. easy one-handed fold and it handles the paths at the botanical gardens, rough sidewalks, etc. quite well. it was great for stroller naps as it has a nearly flat recline and good shade coverage, and good shock absorption. however, the basket sucks and it’s a pita for shopping on foot. I’ve definitely overloaded it by putting bags on the handle - which hasn’t caused any noticeable damage. we have a car so it’s not a huge issue. we also have a babyzen yoyo 2, but the folding on it pisses me off, it locks up when I walk fast, and it’s not very sturdy if your baby is under 15 lbs. The stupid thing nearly flipped multiple times in bassinet mode. i think there’s been some improvements with the next gen, but none of them really wow’ed me.
r/nycparents • Stroller advice any recommendations? ->We used a Baby Jogger Citi Mini GT2 daily for at least a couple years, commuting to and from daycare/preschool. And even after that it was still in good condition. Only negative was relatively limited storage space. The straps are adjustable by age, but we did use a different stroller before our son could sit up properly.
r/BuyItForLife • Stroller Recommendations ->We had this one with little complaints. Got rid of it when she started walking. It's nice but having to carry that thing around everywhere
r/NewParents • Strollers ->First time mom with a Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 + Graco car seat before our baby graduated to the bucket seat. It's been great so far. Very light and relatively compact, which is important for us since we live in the city and don't have a car, so we're on and off public transit a lot. Handled the snow and ice well when we had our winter newborn. Also really love that the seat folds completely flat. Our little guy is a great stroller napper and it's like we have a little mobile hotel room for him when we're out and about
r/NewParents • Strollers ->We also wanted lightweight and maneuverable because we live in the city and have to get on and off public transit a lot. We have a Baby Jogger City Mini gt2 plus a Graco SnugRide car seat. So far no complaints!
r/NewParents • Did you use an infant car seat or convertible? What stroller? ->Second the baby Bjorn bouncer and bugaboo stardust. We had us plus baby in a 1bdr for 3 years and made it work. For high chair, something like the gus and guzzie one that hangs is nice if you have a sturdy table or island. The foldable camping ones aren't bad, but not great for babies before they can sit unassisted. I bought a peg perego rialto second hand and it worked well also. For stroller, you won't find a compact jogging stroller. We went with the baby jogger city mini gt2, it folds pretty small (small enough to fit in the trunk of my nissan micra which is where it was stored. *with the weels off but its an easy 1 button to remove them and most cars have a bigger trunk than a micra. It aaaaalmost fit with them on). It also has big enough wheels that it was smooth on most terrain. But again, not safe for running with it.
