I have. At first I HATED the harness but I’ve gotten used to it. I got the GT2 at first and returned it because I was worried it would be too reclined. I think the GT3 sits up higher. So far so good just really annoying the extras you have to buy. I had to buy the belly band so it’s becoming a very expensive stroller. But I wanted a bigger wheel stroller that is compact and this was really the only option I saw that fit my needs. Also the GT3 they fixed the bar in the back by the basket. So it’s easier to put stuff in it. It’s been great for our horrible sidewalks and we just took it to a thinkery museum and it moves great.

We have a GT and it's great. Like others said, we do not fold it up, but it does fold up super easily. Our parents have been surprised how easy it is compared to "back in the day"

the [citi mini gt3](https://www.babyjogger.com/strollers/shop-all-strollers/all-terrain/city-mini-gt3/city-mini-gt3-stroller/SAP_2216844.html) is a really good mid range stroller. good underbasket storage. Great canopy coverage, one hand one second fold, magnetic buckles, no rethread harness, sandal friendly brake. the 3 wheel design allows for easy maneuverability around stores and museums etc.

I have both. I like both. But if I were choosing one, especially past the infant stage, it would 100% be the City Mini.

Just received ours and took our 7.5 month old for a short walk. Got the Frosted Ivory color. I came here looking for reviews and was also surprised by how there really isn’t anything yet. So here goes (in no particular order) from a new dad: Seat: Angle is about 110-120 degrees in the most upright position by my estimate. This seems to be more than enough since anything closer to 90 would be impractical. He seemed perfectly comfortable during our initial walk. There are memory positions for recline that you can hear click into position like a socket wrench ratcheting. Starting at the most reclined position, and then moving to more upright, I counted 18 positions/clicks so there are plenty of choices to get the angle you desire. Keep in mind that it does not lay completely flat (180 degrees) by design but it does recline plenty, for a baby that would be size and age appropriate, to sleep. The seat material seems good and quality made. Foot Rest: This worked great. We used it and it seemed to support his legs as designed. Harness: 5 point harness that has a satisfying magnetic connection and requires you to push a button to disengage the magnetic retention. I was initially concerned that the orientation of the button could possibly be pressed by the baby or child but now I realize that it requires a significant amount of force so I am no longer concerned at all. The shoulder straps connect to the lower straps by sliding together and the sliding mechanism is held together when the buckle is fastened but the straps will certainly and inevitably come apart when the buckle is not in use. Not a safety concern at all but definitely could be annoying and potentially lead to the strap pads sliding off and getting lost when not buckled. My plan is just to keep it buckled to avoid that. The stroller can still be folded when the harness is buckled so no problem. Straps are also adjustable without needing to remove and thread through other holes as the child grows (like our highchair requires). He was secure and comfortable in the harness. The manual does not have any info for how to properly adjust the harness but Emma Hubbard has a great video on how you should properly adjust these for any stroller. Brake: Foot break. Locks both rear wheels. Right-hand side near the rear wheel. Step down on it to break. Lift up with foot to disengage. Simple, functional, and hands free. Handle: Luggage-style telescoping handle height adjustment using the button in middle of the handlebar. 4 height positions. Might be on high side for shorter people. I would be comfortable using anything between the lowest setting to the second highest position. I’m 5’10ā€ and decided to use the second highest position because it was the sweet spot that allowed the stroller to balance upright when folded. One position higher or lower might work but wouldn’t be as stable. Lowest position certainly will not stand upright. This is pretty irrelevant since it is so easy to adjust that you could simply do this just before folding the stroller. Leather or leather-like material feels fine. I would have preferred color options but it seems to only be available in brown. This luggage seems like a better option compared to the pivoting option (GT2) since you maintain the same angle regardless of the height position you choose. Adjusting it couldn’t be easier as anyone who has ever used roller luggage would be right at home here. Cup Holder: Coffee drinkers beware that there is no cup holder included. The company does sell a ā€œParent Consoleā€ that can be attached but the reviews for durability are questionable and it is pricey. We purchased a universal one elsewhere online by a popular motherhood brand that is ā€œcozyā€. I’m sure you can figure out where and what. I can’t yet speak to its durability but it seems like it will be good, it has insulated cup holders, mesh pockets, zippered storage, is available in a variety of colors, and is less than half the price. The grey version matches the Frosted Ivory of the stroller just fine. Storage: Biggest improvement. No more horizontal bar in the way so you can now get a full size backpack underneath from the rear of the stroller easily. I’m sure this required a decent amount of redesign, and subsequent safety testing, but this was probably a pain point for many and it has now been solved. They even made the rear of the mesh basket frame such that it can easily be flexed downward to maximize the opening and then it just springs back up. Very nice. You can also access this storage area from the front by lifting the footrest sort of like a frunk or glove box. This is a smaller opening but could be good for keeping something out of sight or out of sunlight/rain. Shade Canopy: Great coverage and the venting is fantastic with the magnets. No velcro or rollup required. Since I have only used for a single short walk I am not sure if I have figured out the best way to have a half canopy while ALSO having the vent/peek window. You can certainly pull the front half of the canopy forward to a half position but that results in the vent window staying collapsed so you can peek through. You can pull the full canopy forward and then carefully pull back the front to sort-of achieve both but this doesn’t seem to be designed with this in mind as any real jostling or bumps could cause it to open/retract more. This could just be me. More time will tell and this is nitpicking. Great shade and vents. Ride: Smooth! We came from a Doona so this thing is, as my dad put it, ā€œlike a Cadillacā€. Hopefully more durable but you get the idea. It is really smooth on these Chicago sidewalks and streets so far. Assembly: Super easy. Each wheel effortlessly snapped into the stroller with a satisfying click. The stroller actually has a dedicated button for each wheel to disengage it which is a relief to anyone who has ever had to pound wheels into an office chair and pull so hard trying to remove them that you risk hernia haha. These install and remove like a dream. The shade canopy then just slides onto the frame and has a button snap for each side. That’s it. I think the most time consuming part was just removing the packing material. I’m sure there are things I forgot to mention here, and maybe even some obvious stuff, but this wasn’t a planned review and I just wanted to get something down that might be helpful until the video reviews begin rolling in. Reddit has helped me a lot in my fatherhood journey (and elsewhere) so hopefully this helps someone. Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best as time permits.

UPDATE Sep 2, 2025: The brake may be a safety issue. It’s a foot brake that is supposed to lock both wheels but I am noticing that it fails to lock the left wheel a MAJORITY of the time or the lock of that wheel will fail. The mechanism is a foot brake on the right-hand side near the rear wheel. Step down on it to engage. Lift up with foot to disengage. The right wheel locks reliably but the left wheel can still move with just a little effort which means the stroller can turn clockwise and potentially end up in harms way. I plan to contact the company regarding this and will report back.

UPDATE Sep 8, 2025: The brake seems to be fine now after I found the likely cause of the problem. The brake cable that goes from the right-hand wheel to the left-hand wheel is supported by 3 button snaps on the underside of the strollers seat. One of these snaps was unfastened which changed the tension/slack in the brake cable. Since fixing this, by making sure the cable is within the snap and fastening it, the brake has been operating without any problem.

UPDATE Nov 1, 2025: The brake problem has returned and has become VERY intermittent. I’ve gotten used to testing whether or not the wheels are locked every time I engage the brake. It’s not safe. I can’t trust it. Hopefully I just got a bad unit but I want you all to be aware just in case.

I personally would just focus on buying a travel system rn, possible one that can be compatible with and adapter into a double stroller like many do. I have a 21 month old and am pregnant now expecting in the end of November. I have three strollers and a wagon and plan on purchasing a double. My original travel system was the britax willow brook (around $350 on sale summer of 2024 before tariffs, bassinet was $110 with sale and amazon completion discount.), loved the stroller and the various configurations and the bassinet attachment was a super affordable add on. We stopped using it when my daughter was 13 months because she’s in the 90th percentile for height. I love that and can’t wait to use it with my second. My toddler is getting more independent on regular outings with walking. My second stroller, baby jogger all terrain gts ($60 marketplace) love this stroller super easy to fold up and great for trail walks and taking my daughter to the pool. A bit big though for the back of a car. I got the evenflo pivot explore wagon: ($60 marketplace) love it really easy and comfortable to take in and out of my car. I use it for larger outings, mom to mom sales , and plan on taking it to the beach. My third stroller, ($100 marketplace) is now my errand stroller that I keep in my car. The baby jogger city tour 2 - travel stroller. Has the super easy pull handle to close, very smooth, and has great basket room. It comes with a bag to pack it in for travel. For a double, I’m debating between the baby jogger double all terrain or some version of the bugaboo donkey. Which will likely be for before baby can sit up good (pre-wagon) air travel, Disney, and other items that the wagon doesn’t make sense to bring. I’ve also read that tandem (one after another) as much more difficult to maneuver than side by sides.

I have the single too and it’s great. My daughter is in the higher height percentile and I love that it will last her longer.
