We got a baby trend expedition wagon!

We have the baby trend expedition stroller wagon (~$220) and our toddlers LOVE it. They both can sit without buckles, can see everything and can get in and out on their own without struggling. It also folds nicely into our trunk with lots of extra space (RAV4 XLE). It’s kinda bulky in small stores and such but it’s been worth it overall. We have twin girls on the way and plan to get the wonderfold W4 which I know will be much bulkier and probably a pain in the ass at times but with two toddlers and two infants it seems like the best option for getting around without too much chaos

We have a 2020 RAV4. We have the baby trend expedition wagon and LOVE that thing. We use it all the time, we never use the double stroller. I got it used in excellent condition off Facebook marketplace for $80. Just look all over reddit about the baby trend expedition, everyone who has this one loves it. My 4 year old sits in the wagon and my 6 month old is in her car seat on the wagon with the car seat attachment. It's a universal attachment so you can put any infant car seat in it. We have a Chicco key fit ourselves that we use on it. We have a Velcro handle bar cup holder attachment and the front attachment that can either be a storage basket or you can use the cooler inset it comes with for food and drinks. Diaper bag fits in the wagon along with all sorts of things whenever we're out like toys and towels. So if you get that wagon it does fit fine in the rav 4, take up most of the space if you lay it flat, but if you prop it up on its long side then you have most of the trunk space back. That was my one hesitation with this one is it folds flat instead of in half, but like I said if you put it on its side then you still have plenty of trunk space. It folds really easy, just took a second to get used to the nuance of how to do it. The wheels also pop off easily but we always just leave them on when putting it in the car. The reason I went with this brand too is because the bottom is flat instead of seats, so the kids can lay down flat to nap. There is an attachment that you can get for pads that fold both into seats and flat though. My 4 year old has been fine sitting in the bottom being flat though so we didn't end up getting that part. It is very easy to maneuver when walking around, and we've even been able to bring it to whatever we're doing indoors with no issues including restaurants we can just put it up against a side of the table in place of two chairs and it hasn't been cumbersome which was my initial worry. Literally use this thing all the time, one of the best kid purchases I've ever made DO IT! I did a lot of research on double strollers and wagons, so I definitely recommend this one. Or if you're doing a double stroller, the baby jogger city select 2 would be the one to go with. I got a Graco double stroller instead because it was cheaper, but I wish I had just spent the extra for the baby jogger because then we would've maybe used it more. I see the city select ones everywhere when I'm out and they look really nice and not bulky for a double. The wonderfold is really nice, it would've been on my list but for the price difference, the baby trend expedition meets my needs until I have more than 2 kids. Plus I think it is a bit larger so IDK how much space it would take up in the RAV4 trunk. When I see those wonderfolds out and about though, they do look nice for sure, and the seats recline so still good for napping vs other wagon options. So if that one ends up fitting in your rav4 too and you don't mind the price difference, then I think that's a good option too. Hope this helps and my months of research obsessing over all things double stroller and wagons this year saves you time for what I think are the best options! The other reasons I think wagon trumps double stroller is the weight limits for double strollers aren't that great vs wagons, so you'll get longer term use from your wagon. Plus, if you look at how most double strollers have to be arranged to keep balance safely, most of the babies have to go on the bottom or face away from you, so I didn't know having to have that arrangement cuz I want to be able to have the baby who's still in the car seat face me in the stroller and be the one on top closer too me.

I got a stroller wagon, the baby trend expedition, and popped a bassinet mattress in it, which it perfectly fits. We use that for pram walks.

Yeah, we're still using it at 9 months now. We took out the bassinet mattress and she just sits up in it. But I like that it has a flat bottom, we'll use it for zoo trips in the future, so when she's a toddler she has somewhere to recline if she needs to. My baby is a little bit short, but since she was a newborn she's loved flail all of her limbs around and gets agitated if she's constrained. So she didn't fit in a traditional pram for her own comfort reasons.

We have three strollers: - a classic Graco upright stroller, which was a hand-me-down from a friend, and we use for walks around the neighborhood. We use this one daily. - A baby trend expedition that we got when she kept falling asleep, that she can lay down in it and rest. It's also come in handy for day trips, places that are paved, like the zoo. We use this one about once a week, since I will also put her in it while I'm doing work around the yard. - The Graco expedition stroller, or as I call it our ATV stroller. We go for weekly visits to a farm for our produce and we are frequent hikers, it has these giant durable wheels that can handle those situations. Unfortunately, it has a drop bottom so it's not good for her to nap in. We use this one weekly. We use all three pretty routinely so I feel good about our choices! I can't imagine being worried about wear and tear on a stroller... The point is for them to be used. We have 3 very different strollers for very different purposes.

I only travel with my wagon! The “guidelines” is that it has safety straps, so just a buckle. We use the baby trend explorer one and love it for the airport

They are awesome! I have a Mazda cx-5 and it fits fine. I have the babytrend expedition wagon. I’m obsessed with it and use it daily with my two kids.

Yup! This is the one. It’s amazing. It is my #1 recommendation to all of my friends who are having their second baby.

There are only two infant car seats on the North American market that recline. The Cybex cloud and the Peg Perego lounge. Both of these work on the veer cruiser, which is on the higher end but folds better than anything. The expedition is also very solid, but the fold is very long.

That's the one I have too. Favorite thing ever

I have 1 child. I bought a wagon. He's 4 and we use it. Lol I wish I got it when he was a teeny baby. I would have probably still been using it to this day. Wagons are amazing. Edit my wagon pushes like a stroller.
