I have a (very used) BabyTrends running stroller that I got for free but it’s not expensive brand new. Works fine!

I feel like I have a unique perspective on this!! lol I have an UppaBaby Vista for our main big stroller (with the Nuna Pipa car seat), I have a Nuna TRVL for traveling/errands, and bought a BabyTrend jogging stroller for beach trips and more rugged terrain. Do I love my UB? 100% suspension is amazing and the storage underneath is unmatched. It can hold diaper bag, beach bag, plus more. I’ve gone to the zoo and aquarium with friends who have Nunas and actually have held some of their stuff as well as my own. The Nuna TRVL has its pros, it’s super lightweight with an easy fold and pushes nice but handles any type of terrain poorly. A rock or wire on the ground hitting those front wheels can send it flying forward. Howevvvvvver, the baby trend jogger?? Blew me away for $100 lol like steer is great, pushes really nice, built in sturdy cup holders for parent and child, storage is fine (not huge), wheels work amazing. I know I’m kind of comparing apples and oranges here lol since the 3 strollers I’m comparing do have all different purposes but I’ve noticed that yes, the luxury brands do have some bells and whistles and may be *slightly* better in certain areas, and honestly may look a little nicer or sleeker, but I think a lot of these “cheaper” brands get the job done too! Alls that to say- if it’s within your budget or someone wants to spurge on it for you, go for it!! If it’s any kind of struggle financially or you’re feeling like you “need” the luxury brand bc it’s better for baby or totally unmatched… it’s not! lol hope that was a little helpful!!

We always loved our Baby Trend jogging stroller. It’s certainly not one of the fanciest, or most expensive, but it was sturdy and lasted us years. We brought it to Disney multiple times. It was comfortable for both me and my husband to push, despite him being a foot taller than me.

Unfortunately most strollers that come in a travel system that fold up nicely don’t have great suspension for running or going off road, from what I’ve seen. I would suggest just getting a jogging stroller to keep at home in addition to your travel system. I got a really nice Baby Trend jogging stroller from a secondhand store that was barely used and half the price of a new one. It can be used with an infant carseat too.

I only used both a cheap and a fancy jogging stroller and the fancy one was worth it (but I got both second hand) The babytrend jogging stroller had no recline, bad steering, and folded terribly. The Thule jogging stroller is so nice and adjustable and rolls like a dream and folds well (once you know how)

We have the jogger for our singleton and I swear it’s a baby gear best kept secret. I like it better than strollers 3X the price!!! Because of that, I am also considering a lot of their twin gear, so will be watching the responses here!
