I have the Baby Trend Quest Plus wagon from Target and I love it. It’s very sturdy. It’s pretty big but folds up and should fit fine in your trunk.
We have the city select and i LOVE it. We also have a wagon, i didnt like the BabyTrend Expedition because it was too heavy and took up way too much room, it was difficult to manage on my own and i preferred using an umbrella stroller or our Evenflo with a baby carrier. We returned that one and got the BabyTrend Quest Plus which folds way smaller, has the bench seat option, and all around is so much better. We mostly use the city select with the exception of the mall or the park where we use the wagon. IMO the wagon is just too wide for everyday outings
We keep our umbrella stroller in the trunk for my almost 3yo. We mostly just have her walk with us but sometimes we have longer distances to go. She still fits in her Chicco stroller that we use for very long walks or errands where we need the storage Eta: we also have a babytrend wagon stroller. We have another baby coming so that’ll be our double stroller when needed.
We recently used the baby trend on vacation and loved it too - very easy to steer, sturdy, and large capacity. Only issue I see is no foot well so maybe not as ideal for older toddlers or kids. We also have the Evenflo pivot explore which is also very nice and easy to steer. The capacity does seem smaller relative to the baby trend, but it seems a bit better for actually carrying two kids around.
We went to punta Cana and brought our stroller wagon for our 3 yo and 9 month old. It was perfect. Loaded it up with our suitcases in the airport while I baby wore. I loved the wagon at the all inclusive because the little one could sleep in it while we were at the pool, but they could also both be in it. It was just easy since we never had to worry about getting it into a car or anything. They could snack while we walked around, chill, etc. We also have a compact double umbrella stroller that was great for traveling to Florida that I got free from a Facebook group
We have the baby trend wagon so it has straps to buckle them in and also a push handle (much easier than the pull except in the sand imo)
I have 3 kids - 4 yo, 2 yo and 8 month old. My older 2 were 2.75 years apart, younger 2 were 19 months apart. Strollers are something I have a love/hate relationship with. We have one double stroller and it is a tank. Literally lives as our neighborhood walk one or if we have a long excursion we will grab it We have a wagon, nothing fancy. Baby trend something. All 3 of my kids can fit in it, great to toss stuff in and kids can choose to be in/out Travel single stroller. Saves our trunk space. This is what we use most of the time. Our 2 yo often likes the stroller so she gets plopped in that and I baby wear the littlest. Sometimes it’ll be swapped and littlest will go in the stroller. Honestly the stroller situations can get crazy. I would also definitely check fb marketplace if you’re considering a new stroller or wagon bc so many people resell for way less!
We have a BabyTrend wagon stroller and our son is 4.5. He can walk and hold hands, but he prefers riding on my shoulders or the wagon. And he’s slowly getting better with staying close by, but he’s still a flight risk. The wagon is great cuz we usually have a crap load of stuff too. And if he gets tired he can lay down flat in the wagon.
I have a bunch of strollers and two kids! The best feature of any stroller is one hand fold by far. I have a stroller that is built for two kids but it’s clunky to fold up and I can’t do it one handed. It’s also a pain in the ass to get in the trunk. I also have a jogging stroller that I haven’t used in years but it’s great for walking/jogging (obviously). Personally, I would choose a stroller that is a one handed fold, on the lighter side, but is also compatible with your infant seat (if you have one). I have a Chicco infant seat and the Chicco Bravo stroller (one handed fold) and I’d recommend them both. I’ve been using them both for five years and they’re still in good shape! I also have Chicco’s jogging stroller (great but huge and clunky, not for indoors), the Graco Ready2Grow (good for two kids but still big), and the Baby Trend wagon (great for two kids).
Baby Trend stroller wagon. Some come with a car seat adapter but if it doesnt, you can buy one to attach. You do have to buckle it in but it takes only a second, its universal (it has a net with two straps under so any infant carrier can be set down). Older kiddo will be a little squished at first but its only until baby can sit up at around 6 months, and they can still easily see out of the wagon to the side and behind. Its no bigger than a shopping cart really and I used it in most stores without issues. Roomy, lasts a long time, easy to maneuver imo, and is in your price range [:
