r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAuTravel pram recommendation for Europe in March 2026 (9 month old baby)

I went to Europe in November with my 9 month old. Went to UK and central Europe: it was mild in UK and freezing in Central Europe. I brought BabyBee Miles. It worked really well. I checked it in and just took baby in baby carrier. Would do again. Only thing I regretted was I didn’t have a winter muff so poor baby had to be bundled up in my husbands puffer and the rain cover.

I know it’s not one of the ones you asked about but I do love our Babybee miles. Have been using it for about 2 months and it’s the pram we keep in my small hatchback (our Babybee Juno doesn’t fit without putting the seat in my back seat) so we use the Miles for most day trips.  Really happy with it. Feels really good to push, folds well, seat and harness pretty easy to adjust. I can’t comment on 100% upright because Bub still doesn’t sit completely up. Close, but not quite. But we do move her from laid back to mostly upright regularly (to switch between napping and looking around).

I have the Rover3 (purchased in 2023) and planning to stick with it for my second due in November. My first will be a bit over 2 years and I plan to buy the toddler board to go onto the rover so he can either stand or sit when I’m out with them both. I’m hoping my first will be okay with this. If it doesn’t work, I’ll sell up and go a double pram from Babybee as well. Pros: Love the pram, it’s a smooth ride that fits in my smallish-mid size boot. Great accessories, especially the little caddy. Cons: one of the front wheels comes off if knocked by being taken out of the boot but goes back on easily. Whatever you decide Babybee prams are just amazing in general. I also have their travel pram (miles) and it’s been a great pram to travel overseas with and haven’t had an issue with having putting it in overhead storage for either domestic or international flights.

It's not one of the ones you mentioned but you should have a look at the babybee miles, it ticks all your requirements! Edited to add: we haven't bought yet but checked it out the other day and it was great! If you're in Melbourne or Sydney you can try it out at the memo otherwise I believe you can order from babybee and try at home and return if you don't like it. You're just not allowed to try it outside of your house.

I really like the babybee miles. I'm actually not sure about seat size - but there's a decent undercarriage, it's easy to adjust and it folds pretty simply. You'd need to buy the shade attachment, it sits up high enough for us.

Love my Miles as well! The Redsbaby Skip 3 looks amazing too - a couple of mums in my Mother’s Group have purchased them for their travels and have no qualms about it.

I did what felt like years of research on travel prams, I could probably write a thesis on it. Price wasn’t a concern for me, I was happy to invest as I knew we would use it lots. I wanted it to be cabin luggage friendly, real one hand fold, okay space in the basket for storage, good hood for shade and decent recline as my baby is small and I wanted something comfy for naps. Wanted the Joolz Aer 2 but when I went to buy I found out it’s not in Australia yet. The Joolz Aer + doesn’t have the same recline so it was out. So I went back and settled on the Redsbaby Skip 3, but there wasn’t any in stock by the time I needed it. Didn’t want the yoyo because I’d seen the bar that runs through the basket and it limits storage significantly (although I have friends with yoyos and they absolutely love them). Tested the Bugaboo butterfly (it was almost my next choice because I have the bugaboo travel cot and love it) but I just didn’t love it (admittedly for reasons i can’t remember). I was seriously running out of time by this point so settled on the Babybee miles and honestly I have mixed feelings about it. I like how far it reclines, it handles easily, I like that the shade extends quite far and it has the bar at the front (I don’t know the official name for it) so it feels like my baby has a bit of extra protection. Plus when she’s sat up in it she holds on to the bar with both hands, and when she’s sat lays down in it she rests her feet up on it like she’s chilling and both scenarios make my ovaries go into overdrive because its so adorable. But I think the material feels kinda cheap, not like real waterproof fabric you usually feel on prams, and there is a bar at the front of the basket that’s a bit annoying that I didn’t realise was there. I also think over time the adjustable back of the pram will get bent and out of shape as it seems a bit like that already and I’ve only had it 3 weeks. I’ve just done the international flights with it and the one handed fold is good but it feels clunky and cumbersome getting it in the back and carrying it, but that could easily be true of all travel prams as I can’t compare. It does the job but if I had more time (currently away overseas with it) I might have returned it and waited for the Skip 3 or kept researching.

I took my 6 month old solo to the UK with a Babybee miles (after lots of research). I wanted something with recline because she was still little + good basket space because I was on my own. I excluded the yoyo because there’s a bar running through the basket which limits what can go in there. I initially wanted the Joolz Aer 2 but it wasn’t out in Australia yet and I didn’t want to have no pram until I could get back to the UK to buy it. My next pick was the Skip 3 because our main pram is a redsbaby and I like it, but it was on back order. I ended up with the Babybee miles. It was fine, the fold is easy enough but IMO flimsy and since I bought it in July the backrest really became bent to the point my daughter wouldn’t sit in it because she was hunched over. I also found the carry strap a bit awkward feeling if I was carrying it for any length of time. So in November I sold it and got the Joolz Aer 2. Much better, feels much more solid and has equally good shade. We recently took it on an interstate trip and the fold is good, it’s light (I think maybe a tiny bit lighter than the miles) and when it’s folded the carry strap feels way more comfortable if it’s sat on your shoulder.

We're going to the Philippines in May and we've bought the Babybee miles as a stroller We've booked accommodation specifically that already has a portacot and will just BYO sheets.

Babybee Miles! It’s super affordable, lays flat, there’s a large basket, a ton of accessories, easy to unfold and fits in the airport overhead compartments. They always have sales as well so if you’re not in a rush to buy one keep an eye on their website! Me and my best friend both have one and love them. This is also now my ‘car’ pram for my 2.5yo (originally bought for travel).
