Just got an indie twin and love it! I also have a BOB but much prefer Bumbleride.

Definitely spend the money for a nice all terrain stroller if you do those things. It will get dirty but that’s what those types of strollers are for. Maybe get a BOB for the park and the Nuna for everyday strolls. From my experience testing strollers and having three, the more expensive strollers just feel better and are smoother.

Check it fits in your trunk. Like the Bob pro fits in a civic trunk front to back or side to side with room, but not a Crosstrek. I also have a stroller with small tires.... It's only used if we are forced to, like you can't hop a curb with it or get over even small sidewalks bumps where as our Bob you just keep on walking.

Yes to the good stroller! I got. City select thinking I would like the single to double on marketplace but didn’t realize how hard it would be to push once I had two kids in it. I still have it but only use it for one and bought a double bob and then a single bob.

We went with bugaboo donkey side by side but had the same dilemma - it IS big, but when you have twins you are a travelling circus regardless of size. We love/loved it overall great stroller. We still use it regularly and my twins are almost 3. It fit through most doorways as it’s the size of a wheelchair, but when they were small I would actually often strap one to me and use the donkey in single mode (which is actually smaller than most single tandem) which I loved for grocery shopping. I should note I live in a city so we are walking everywhere - I think if driving everywhere a side by side when kids are bigger - a stroller that has a one handed fold (Zoe, valco, jeep) would be wise to look into for getting in and out of the car. My only complaint with donkey is getting in and out of the car/folding it up isn’t fun, we kept ours set up and just plopped the babies in. For reference we also have an umbrella double travel stroller for flights, and a bob double for running. Donkey is my fave but all for diff purposes!

We had a double bob and a wagon. Sold the double bob when my kids were about 1.5 and 3 and I still regret it. The wagon is ok but the thing the double stroller is absolutely key for is napping on the go. My kids would probably still nap in a stroller if we had it. If you plan to do stuff out in the world during naps I highly recommend a double stroller.

Double Bob Revolution. Got it for $100 off Nextdoor. I mostly got it so I could run with the kids but we use it extensively for walking around the neighborhood to parks and preschool. We don't often take it out of the neighborhood. We have the rain cover for it which works somewhat better than the Thule one in my opinion. The cargo pockets(and added handlebar organizer) end up getting used more than I realized.  Downsides are it kinda sucks taking into any small local businesses due to the width(not to mention the reach of little hands). It does just barely fit in the back of our car with the third row up. The pneumatic tires can also get a flat though the Bob doesn't seem as bad as the single Thule we also have for whatever reason. After a flat in the last mile or so of a 10k run last year I put some tire liners in to protect the tube and haven't gotten a flat since then. The wheel brake bar annoys me a bit because the foot grips line up with the seats and pockets so it can be a bit tight to squeeze my foot in. The lack of a handbrake makes some steep hills a little sketchy mostly while running. The front wheel mechanism doesn't track as well when locked for running or hold adjustment well, especially on a gravel road.  All in all, I'm really happy with it and would buy it again. I haven't seen anything that seemed like enough of an upgrade to spend any money on.

Are the tires properly inflated? My single Thule and my double BOB both are significantly harder to push when the tires are even a little deflated. Any particular reason the stroller was listing? Road/path slant? Grip orientation? Thule has a nice adjuster for the front wheel on slanted roads and paths that I take advantage of in my sidewalk-less area.

Due with #4 in the winter- - Lots of burp rags to have in each room - a bouncer for each important room- your room, kitchen, living room. Doesn’t have to be pricey - good rocking chair - owlet smart sock!!!!! - boba wrap carrier - baby born carrier - tushbaby - bob stroller (if you walk/exercise- im a runner push my kids running in the double bob usually 10-15 miles per week going on 6 years, its held up beautifully!) We made the mistake of buying expensive things too many times and realizing we could’ve been just fine with an offbrand… and a lot of the things you only use for a few months, I would recommend not breaking the bank on things that only get used for a short period of time.

I think you have a bias problem with “…that have one baby in the front and one kind of neglected in the back…”. For the first year, that set up is awesome - and keep in mind - infants can’t see that far or that well yet for a bit - so the view isn’t a concern. We had the city select double with a conversion for peg perego infant carriers and it was awesome. We also had a double bob and a bugaboo donkey (side by side) and two singles. For the first year - the city select was it. We never, ever had concerns about one baby being neglected. You can easily see both and both kids can easily see around. I would revisit the stacking single file double stroller.

We don’t have sidewalks in our neighborhood so the double bob has been the best for that. As far as bringing it shopping or out in the world I don’t love it as much because of the size
