Expensive is not always the best but that doesn’t mean go cheap. We’ve been through our fair share of strollers, hand me downs, gifts etc. the one I loved using the most was our bob revolution se. Used it for 12 years, went through all our kids and even a stint where I ran ~700+ miles in 2 years pushing a baby
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->I had a nuna which I liked but I ended up using the bob jogger pro or something like that. It was way smoother than any other stroller we tried. I liked that I could take it to parks and more rugged places too. It’s pretty bulky though, you can take the front wheel off when you need to pop it in your trunk though.
r/AskSF • Parents Question --Which Stroller to buy for SF living? ->Check it fits in your trunk. Like the Bob pro fits in a civic trunk front to back or side to side with room, but not a Crosstrek. I also have a stroller with small tires.... It's only used if we are forced to, like you can't hop a curb with it or get over even small sidewalks bumps where as our Bob you just keep on walking.
r/predaddit • Stroller Suggestions & Tips ->Used for almost everything, the only thing worth splurging on is a BOB. Everything other than a jogging stroller is the same basic design. The move is to buy them used/cheap as possible, then you can buy multiple strollers that each meet a certain need for the same price as a new “jack of all trades” stroller that won’t be. We have a BOB all terrain (the big purchase, because we run with him) and then an ultra compact one for travel, we also had what was essentially a Graco cart that his car seat clipped into (but didn’t have a seat otherwise) for when he was <1 year.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->With very few exceptions, all our baby clothes were used. We had a local consignment store that would do a “bag sale” to clear out inventory…fill a standard plastic shopping bag for $10. We also had a neighborhood sale and free porch pickup group we sourced tons of stuff from (and passed along things we outgrew). Some stuff is worth splurging on…we both love our BOB jogging stroller and it’s a tank. But so much stuff is going to basically be expendable, so buy it with that mindset!
r/daddit • How much should I budget for first baby? ->I’m not going to deinfluence you from a jogging stroller because I love mine, but I will suggest you look at FB Marketplace for a used one because they are pricy new. I got a used Bob all terrain for $55 and it’s amazing for walks.
r/Buyingforbaby • Jogging Strollers: De-influence me - Guava Roam ->Yeah, I actually haven’t seen too many Guava’s probably because it’s a newer stroller. But I have seen a ton of Thule’s (also very good) and BOB’s. What I like about my BOB is that it’s really smooth and lightweight to push on all kinds of terrain (even gravel).
r/Buyingforbaby • Jogging Strollers: De-influence me - Guava Roam ->I have a BOB stroller as my main. My little guy is only 5 months old so the infant car seat adapter has been so easy to use! Its gone everywhere! I dont even care how bulky it is, that thing is versatile and smooth af. I have a summer stroller a friend gave us as a lighter on the go stroller for when he gets older.
r/NewParents • Who else has 2 or more strollers and one kid? Are my stroller choices justified? ->Totally dependent on your lifestyle and needs! I live on a dirt road so the best stroller for me has been a BOB. Given my choice in a stroller with insane suspension - an infant car seat with an adapter was necessary. I had purchased a used Chicco Keyfit 35 from a friend who was one and done because it doesnt expire until 2030 and came with two cardiac seat bases for each of our vehicles!
r/NewParents • Did you use an infant car seat or convertible? What stroller? ->I second your point about it depends where you live and what lifestyle you're living. Bob stroller with infant car seat attachment is the route we're going and it will be the main and only stroller. I live in a rural area on a dirt road , so any daily walks I take, I can't use a stroller with less suspension. Going to grandparents camper? Same deal. Going to the racetrack to watch daddy race? Same deal. We don't have small cars, so trunk space is no bother, but heck, my friend has a Bob and drives a Ford focus, and it fits her trunk fine! Tested hers out at an apple orchard and was amazed by the smooth ride - it sold me. Lol
r/fitpregnancy • Stroller options: jogging stroller for everyday use as well? ->Commenting to agree. I’ve lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana and then back to Ontario - it’s been through snow, sand, country lift, etc and it’s still in almost perfect condition.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • [ca] Stroller for country life ->BOB all terrain with car seat adaptor ! The best stroller I’ve ever owned.
r/Eltern • Kinderwagen Moon Gio/Piu oder Joie Versatrax ->Thr Bob (The big wheel tricycle stroller) was great for us. Super maneuverable and easy to break down and throw in the car. Loved it.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->Just got an indie twin and love it! I also have a BOB but much prefer Bumbleride.
