Yes to the good stroller! I got. City select thinking I would like the single to double on marketplace but didn’t realize how hard it would be to push once I had two kids in it. I still have it but only use it for one and bought a double bob and then a single bob.

I have a 4 year old and a 9 month old! It was so stressful finding a double that made sense with the age gap. If you’re not ready to make a big buy before your trip, I’d rent a double Bob to try it out. We’d have gotten one when baby was born if it were newborn compatible- we love our single Bob and our older will still be comfy in it for a few years. If I were on the market for a double now with my 9 month old, I’d be scoping Bobs out. We bought a secondhand uppababy and immediately sold it to someone else on Marketplace- it was just too small for the wide age gap. My average-sized older daughter’s legs were dangling comically out of the toddler seat. Other moms I know with an age gap wider than 2 years also ditched their uppababy. We’ve loved our Zoe single for our older and will probably get a double eventually when we need it for travel. If you’re flying in, it’s a great, lightweight travel stroller! Only issue is storage, but we hack our way around it with big carabiners and side saddle storage attachments. I ended up purchasing the Austlen Entourage for our big family stroller during a Prime Day. The sit/stand option, the ability to shorten it with one hand if big sister isn’t using it, and the storage are what sold me. It has a bassinet mode for newborns, which I also wanted in case we have a 3rd. Let me know if you have questions about this one! It’s not the easiest to handle as an inline double, but it fits right through every door!

Will depend on your method to the parks! If you're staying onsite and taking Disney's buses, then the Vista will be a pain to fold, unfold, and keep near you during the bus rides. If you plan to drive into the parks, then it's not really a factor and you will appreciate the extra storage that the Vista has over a travel stroller. We love our Zoe travel stroller, though my 4 year old isn't quite as tall as your son. Otherwise it's lightweight, folds down small, and fits in the overhead compartment while flying. My only gripe is storage (it's limited) so we hang bags from a big carabiner on the handle, and have purchased their extra side-saddle bags. Check their website and see if their measurements would work for your guy! As far as comfort goes I agree with the recommendation of renting a Bob jogging stroller. We have one at home and my girl lounges with plenty of room to spare. We had a Bob on our last family trip and my 9yo nephew curled in there for a nap during a lunch break. Renting 3rd party once you're there is super easy and reasonably priced. Will save you the stroller wrestling in the airport if you're flying! And no, I don't think packing a travel stroller into a backpack is worth your time. If you have something distinct for your stroller you won't have a hard time with stroller parking- throw a colorful swaddle blanket on top, a bright ribbon on the handle, a balloon, etc. Unpacking your items from under the stroller, folding it down, and then having a bulky backpack cramping your style on every ride sounds like much more of a pain than stopping at stroller parking.

When recommending items we use the original link, but my husband and I use majority hand-me-downs and second hand items we bought off Facebook marketplace. I love BOB strollers. We had our single stroller gifted to us and the double stroller I bought off Facebook marketplace. Our doona was bought by my parents for my sister and then she handed it down to me.

At the peak of my stroller owning days, we had 7, I think. Single travel system one. Double sit and stand that worked with the car seat (sometimes could even fit 3 kids on that one). Single BOB. Double BOB. Single umbrella stroller. Double umbrella stroller. And an additional, slightly fancier single umbrella we bought when on a trip where we hadn’t packed a stroller. 🤣 Youngest kid is 2.5 now, and we’re down to just the single BOB.

Expensive is not always the best but that doesn’t mean go cheap. We’ve been through our fair share of strollers, hand me downs, gifts etc. the one I loved using the most was our bob revolution se. Used it for 12 years, went through all our kids and even a stint where I ran ~700+ miles in 2 years pushing a baby

As a collector of strollers and someone who lives near you- I primarily use my bugaboo butterfly which is considered a travel stroller. It meets most of your requirements except it doesn’t reverse face and doesn’t have a bassinet option. There is a car seat adapter for Nuna though. The only caveat is you can’t really use the actual stroller until baby can sit up mostly- so 4-6 months. But the basket is big for a travel stroller and the wheels have continued to impress me when I push it on random terrain (dirt/rocky paths, grass occasionally). I also have a silver cross wave which is a single to double tandem which is big but is our “big outing” stroller we use at amusement parks and other things my older child will want to sit for periodically and also a bob double (and single 🙃) which I use for neighborhood walks. However these are mostly used because I have two. If I only had one we would 100% take the butterfly to amusement parks because it is so much smaller. But if I had to pick one to keep or originally start with by itself it would be the butterfly. It also fits in the overhead of a plane which is nice for travel. We also have the rider board for my older child for travel or milder outings where she may want to ride/sit for not too long

I have a BOB stroller as my main. My little guy is only 5 months old so the infant car seat adapter has been so easy to use! Its gone everywhere! I dont even care how bulky it is, that thing is versatile and smooth af. I have a summer stroller a friend gave us as a lighter on the go stroller for when he gets older.

Totally dependent on your lifestyle and needs! I live on a dirt road so the best stroller for me has been a BOB. Given my choice in a stroller with insane suspension - an infant car seat with an adapter was necessary. I had purchased a used Chicco Keyfit 35 from a friend who was one and done because it doesnt expire until 2030 and came with two cardiac seat bases for each of our vehicles!

I second your point about it depends where you live and what lifestyle you're living. Bob stroller with infant car seat attachment is the route we're going and it will be the main and only stroller. I live in a rural area on a dirt road , so any daily walks I take, I can't use a stroller with less suspension. Going to grandparents camper? Same deal. Going to the racetrack to watch daddy race? Same deal. We don't have small cars, so trunk space is no bother, but heck, my friend has a Bob and drives a Ford focus, and it fits her trunk fine! Tested hers out at an apple orchard and was amazed by the smooth ride - it sold me. Lol

Commenting to agree. I’ve lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana and then back to Ontario - it’s been through snow, sand, country lift, etc and it’s still in almost perfect condition.
