Sport Utility Stroller

I have actually had 2 jogging strollers. I first had a graco, and honestly I loved it. I used it for years with my oldest. Then with my second baby I continued to use it. I didn't have any problem with it, until my son had a seizure. After the seizure I just always wanted to be able to see him clearly, and with the sunshade extended on the graco I couldn't get a good look at him. I kept stopping to check. A friend of mine from work heard me talking and offered me her old BOB. And I'm talking old. This thing was from like 2007. And it's amazing. I didn't know what I was missing until I tried it. The ride is smoother, it has actual suspension as compared to the graco, I can see my kid better, and it's lighter. And it was used by 2 mom's at my job prior to me. The downside to it is less storage space compared to the graco, so for everyday use that's a bit of a bummer, but overall I love it.

I started running again about 3-4 months PP with my oldest and have since done 3 races with her (she’s 15 months now) - we have an older style BOB I got off marketplace for $40, as I didn’t want to go all in at first until I knew if I would use it often. I kept running through my current pregnancy until about 32 weeks (I’m 37 now!) and my final run was with her in the BOB. We got a double this pregnancy so I can keep it going with both of them once I feel healed enough to run again!

I was given a single BOB and enjoy it for the most part so thats what we are sticking with for now. Do you (or anyone) know of any universal or offbrand snack trays that are compatible? Trying not to dish out $60 for the one from the brand

I owned both a BOB single and a Thule double jogging stroller, and honestly, the Thule was the best stroller I ever had. I’ll admit, I was a total stroller snob. We had an Uppababy, Baby Jogger, BOB, Mountain Buggy, Chicco, and Thule, and the Thule was hands down superior to all of them. I could literally push it with one finger. The best part was that when my kids finally outgrew it, I was able to sell it on Marketplace for about 75% of what I originally paid. It held its value incredibly well and still looked almost brand new.

The Chicco was our first stroller and I didn’t really know what made a stroller better in terms of push. I bought a BOB second hand and it was ok, but I truly didn’t think it was anything special. When I found out I was pregnant with my second we got the Uppababy Vista, which was smooth but so bulky. I sold that one and got a Baby Jogger City Select which I loved for daily use. Around this time I also got a Baby Jogger City Mini for travel and for quick trips to the mall or zoo as my youngest preferred baby wearing. I also had a Mountain Buggy Nano for traveling because it was so lightweight and compact. Once my youngest was old enough to take in a jogging stroller, we got the Thule Urban Glide.

I have the BOB with addon Velcro attachments for water + junk and it's an excellent product. I'm 6 ft and I think the adjustable/tilt handle is well designed and comfortable. The adjustable sun shade for kiddo is nice with a clear plastic window to be able to check in on them periodically without breaking your stride. The thing is very well built and sturdy. It's definitely a "buy it for life" quality product that you should be able to pass on to someone else after your family has outgrown it. My only issue with it is that when it's folded down it still takes a lot of space in your car. We have left it at home every time we went camping because trunk space is more important.
