We’ve got a Britax Romer B Agile and it’s great. Folds up small enough to fit in my T-Cross boot with some space to spare. Lovely and sturdy, smooth ride and a great sun shade.

Seconding this. I have an ancient one from I think 2013 and it survives all kind of nonsense like letting a 6 & 3yo sit in the seat at once, overloading with shopping, I got it second hand intending to run it into the ground and it just keeps going and going!

I have one stroller for everyday use. I bought a used Britax B-Agile off FB marketplace for $20 strictly for travel. I wasn’t going to risk the airline breaking my expensive Nuna stroller

We bought a Britax B-Agile, manufactured and purchased in 2012, second hand in 2014 and that sucker is *still* going with absolutely no issues. The first owners did a number on the canopy so we replaced that when we bought it, but yeah. Nearly 15yrs after it started being used and it's still going! Multiple kids- both with and without newborn carseat attached-, multiple moves, yearly trips to Disney World with many local theme park trips per year, np. Our youngest is 9 now and although I believe he still fits into it by weight [edit: actually I looked and he just recently exited the weight range 🤯], we haven't needed it in a few years- although we stopped using it ages ago we had held onto it to have for long Disney days bc he'd pass out in it by the end of the day until he was like 6 or 7 and it's still in such good shape that we keep meaning to pass it on on Buy Nothing or something, but haven't gotten to it yet. That model appears to have been discontinued, but the B-Free seems like it might be the most similar

We started out with the britax travel set up. Came with a jogger stroller and infant car seat that popped in the stroller. Can be placed in a car with a seat belt and no base if necessary. Its lasted us 4 kids, still looks great. I still use the jogger stroller for my 1 year old. But also I had purchased the britax double stroller since it was all compatible and I had my kids close together. And I have a decent umbrella stroller for tight spaces and easy grab and go. But, the jogger stroller is definitely the most durable, good quality and still glides quiet and smoothly after 7 years.

Short answer: no. Your baby, your choice! Yes, you can go a long time carrying baby in a well made carrier. However, carriers themselves can be quite bulky. I personally already had a bad back before my pregnancies, and even with a fancy LilleBaby complete with a backpad, I struggled once my baby was over six months due to weight. You can always opt for a more light weight/low profile stroller. I lived in a large city with my first child (Toronto), so I opted for a Britax that folded in half. I could jerk it open with one hand (pull) and I've gotten to the point where I can open it completely one-handed.

I went with a travel system from Britax. I lived in Toronto for my first, so the bucket clicked in when baby was tiny and then the attachments get removed so the underneath is the seat with adjustable shoulder straps. I liked it as it folds down for storage and has lots of spaces for holding your stuff. We ended up going with other Britax car seats as they have the ClickTight technology

So I was driving myself crazy researching travel strollers, reading everything and anything online but what ultimately worked was going to Nordstrom and trying the strollers myself. We thought we were going to get a Yoyo, but NOPE. We ended up loving the Bugaboo Butterfly the best. It's traveled with us from Texas to France and looks great. I love it so much I wish I had never gotten a travel system (mine is Britax) and done a grow for life car seat and the Bugaboo from the get-go.  So yeah, I'd say go get your hands on them IRL and see what feels good to you.
