I got the Chicco Bravo 3 in 1 travel system at my baby shower and love it! I keep it in the car since the car seat attaches to it. I also got a barely used Bugaboo Ant off Facebook Marketplace to keep inside the house, and I love it as a compact & lightweight travel/short errands stroller.
The Bugaboo Butterfly’s measurements are a bit larger than the carryon size requirements for some airlines, but it will fit in most overhead bins. Just be aware you may receive pushback due to the size if you are flying a discount airline that checks bag size. We have a Bugaboo Ant (the Butterfly’s predecessor) and it’s a bit smaller and conforms to all carry on airline sizes. We haven’t had any issues fitting it in the overhead, just also be aware that your stroller will be considered your carryon.
Agree that the Fox is a bit large, to the point that the folding function gets a bit degraded. We also have the Ant which isn’t super comfortable for long outings, but is incredibly compact and great for train / plane.
Bugaboo and yoyo for travel for us. Friends didn’t get on with the silver cross, difficult to fold down without losing a finger!
It’s so much lighter than the vista and easy to fold. I have a bugaboo for travel and it’s amazing too
I have a few thoughts, although I don’t own any of the strollers you’ve listed! - Don’t get a single to double. They won’t do either well. - A full sized single stroller sounds great, but in practice it will be big and heavy and take up a ton of your trunk. Unless you live somewhere like NYC where the stroller basically is your car I will always recommend a more compact single stroller (preferably one that folds ALL IN ONE PIECE including the seat) - One handed fold is super nice but not a need to have - Used baby gear is your friend! Get a nice new stroller now, then look for a used travel stroller if you plan a trip, side by side double once you have your second baby, etc. No one stroller is ever going to meet all your needs. I have four 😂 - Your baby will likely outgrow their infant car seat before they turn 1. Pick the stroller first, then pick a car seat based on what is compatible with the stroller and what fits in your car. Don’t do the Doona: you will be shopping for a new stroller again in less than a year, and it’s not good for babies to be in car seats for extended periods of time - Bassinets are great, but are huge in your trunk and are only used for a short window of time. My vote is always for a newborn ready recline feature in the toddler seat so that you don’t have to always have them in the car seat! I had the mockingbird for my first baby - hated it as a double and it was only ever okay as a single. Would NOT recommend. I have a used Baby Jogger side by side double which is great and a single Bugaboo travel stroller which is also great.
