I have the donkey 3, they are all almost the same just some minor differences but trust me when I say in sweden everyone gets a donkey stroller. I have seen some be reselled for a third or fourth time in great condition.
Honestly the bugaboo donkey is THE best. Almost everyone uses it where I live, I have had 3 strollers and the bugaboo is the best one. Look at Facebook marketplace I got mine for $200 off there. It is also worth the price as it can last YEARS
They have it available on albee baby for a discount! I bought last week.
7 months in. We use the snap and go for Drs appointments but the bugaboo donkey 5 for everything else. It has been very worth it for us - we take it on walks around the neighborhood daily and have taken it to a few different zoos and parks. We drive a Honda odyssey though - so if you don’t have a big trunk, it might be hard to fold small enough to fit.
We have twins and we have a bugaboo donkey 5 for everyday use. its nice and Big, the kids sits comfortably and the wheels are smooth as well. Then we have a second travel stroller the minu Duo. The Donkey was just impossible for travelling. Its big and heavy and a pain flying with it, folding it and storing it on the top compartment on a plane to Japan. Thats when the smaller foldable minu duo comes in for travelling
We have the Bugaboo Donkey 5 and it's great. It's sturdy, light and easy to use. And it's just narrow enough that it can get through most store doors and such. We bought it second hand since it's quite expensive though.
We got the Bugaboo Donkey 5 duo and made the whole twin travel system using a car seat adapter and some maxi cosi peri car seats. \~$3300.00 later lol. Brutal upfront cost but man the stroller has been great and no weird seat orientation. Fits through doors... only issue issue is my boys are 17 months and by no means too big for the seats but... they are getting close lol. Thinking about listing the whole setup on marketplace to recoup some funds and get a more toddler friendly like wagon maybe they can climb into on their own.
