Glad I'm not the only one to come away from JL more confused about what I want! I really struggled to commit to one just based on internet reviews / the John Lewis test drive. I ended up with a Bugaboo Dragonfly (which I LOVE) but I rented it (brand new) from Baboodle with a view to trying out as many prams with the baby as I needed to find the right one. I was stressing about picking the perfect everything and that took the pressure right off. Baboodle also allowed me to realise I hate the Artipoppe sling without pissing away 300 quid on one.

The **bugaboo dragonfly** is the only stroller that meets all your requirements. Reversible seat, bassinet option (it even collapses with the bassinet on), quite light, compatible with Nuna car seat. You could also consider the **joolz aer+** if you would like to prioritize keeping the stroller in the air cabin vs reversible seat (which is valid). You may not need parent-facing for too long anyway if you use the bassinet. I know the Bugaboo works with Nuna - unsure on this one.

We ended up getting a single to double, but our top single choice was the Bugaboo Dragonfly. It’s quite light, reversible seat, and the bassinet or seat collapse with the stroller so the fold is slick.

Bugaboo all the way! I use dragonfly bcos I live in London and want it to be easier to take in the tubes etc but the upper versions are much better. Its. Dutch brand and we did plenty of research before buying one. Also it has a warranty of 4 years. Our pram was broken when we took it for travelling and it was exchanged in a couple of days. The customer service was amazing and hassle free.

We got the bugaboo dragonfly and loving it!! Living in a really rural area and had no issues so far getting it up and down hills, through little paths (with sticks, leaves and dirt) and it’s really light so easy to carry for short distances even if you have to. Folds in like 3 seconds too so you wouldn’t have an issue with it in London. They can also use it until they’re around 4 years old so it’s pretty good value for money. I also used to live in London so got friends there and I know some people who also got it and like it. So that’s my vote but I can’t speak on the other two.

We also bought a bugaboo and lucked out tha it was a practically new second hand one. It was so sturdy and took such a beating. That being said, I kind of wish we had gotten a cybex. It would have fit with our car seat which also reclined enough for it to not be dangerous to leave a bay in it for a short shopping trip. One of the biggest things we looked at were the wheels. We have lots of cobblestones where we are so they had to be big. People with small wheels get stuck all the time.

As an IVF person who had a kid later, I went all out. Bugaboo stroller, Clek car seat, etc.... I didn't have a registry. You are in a different place. I also believe in buying car seats and mattresses new for safety reasons. If you are being asked for a registry, I would populate it with small easy items and nothing big if this is a point of consternation among or if they are feeling financial pressure - it's also just good practice for a registry. But something meaningful like a nice book or something cute so people can engage in getting something adorable for the baby. As for work, avoid talking about it any more or say you're getting everything used off facebook marketplace (which actually does work well, I just didn't have energy while pregnant to go around buying things - I could have saved so much). Loved the baby bjorn bouncer by the way.

Bugaboo dragonfly. Bassinet and seat fold into the stroller so takes up less space leaving more room for luggage in the trunk
