Bugaboo Fox Cub, purchased new and used for 5 months now. - pros: cheaper than every other big name prams models (I bought the bassinet and pram seat bundle through black Friday sale for $960 last year), I think due to it being a smaller version because it's not expandable for two kids. We loved everything else about it. Very easy and smooth to push around on hilly and rough terrains. Bub sits pretty tall and comfortable, he falls asleep in both the bassinet and pram seat no problem and never cried in this pram. It looks good and feels solid. It fits fine in the boot. - cons: It requires two hands to fold up. So I'll need to lock bub in the capsule/car seat, then turn around to fold and load the pram into the car. I know that some Bugaboo models have a one hand one click fold thing. But in reality, taking an extra 3 mins to leave the pram by the curb/parking lot when you handle the baby is no problem and every stranger gives you way anyways. The bag space under was a little small when we had the bassinet on and we had to use a small nappy bag, but it got significantly bigger when we switched to pram seat. Other tips: I didn't buy bugaboo branded assesories, I got a coffee cup holder off Amazon for 20 bucks, and a woolly foot muff from Gooseberry for 100 bucks. They are compatible no problem. Single pram vs double pram: to be honest, i felt it was too soon to make a decision for things that might or might not happen in a few years. I also prepared for having more than the one pram. I heard from lots of 2+ kiddo families that their oldest doesn't want to sit in the pram once they're in walking age, so I just opted in for a small, cheaper but decent single pram, and will prepare to buy another once I'm actually prego with a second and see how my first turns out.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Let's talk PRAMS but in detail ->I second the joolz aer. We're in the country side so also have a bugaboo fox cub which is brilliant, but going round the village or into Manchester the joolz is the one. Expecting #2 and have the joolz carrycot ready to go and it's so soft. We'll be using both prams but definitely recommend the joolz for small spaces. On lots of bugaboo pages they often recommend it over the bugaboo butterfly and dragonfly as they often are a little flimsier, especially with toddlers or older children.
r/PregnancyUK • Buggy suggestions? ->Doona then bugaboo here, found it easier to collapse one handed than the yoyo
r/AskSF • Parents Question --Which Stroller to buy for SF living? ->You should be able to find something. Here in Germany, I have seen a lot of Bugaboo Donkeys listed secondhand for around €500, and Foxes for around €300, often with tons of free extra accessories I just bought a Bugaboo Cameleon 3 for €90 (including extra accessories). That means it’s an older model, of course, but it still works great.
r/BabyBumps • Influence/ de influence my baby registry! ->We also bought a bugaboo and lucked out tha it was a practically new second hand one. It was so sturdy and took such a beating. That being said, I kind of wish we had gotten a cybex. It would have fit with our car seat which also reclined enough for it to not be dangerous to leave a bay in it for a short shopping trip. One of the biggest things we looked at were the wheels. We have lots of cobblestones where we are so they had to be big. People with small wheels get stuck all the time.
r/BuyItForLife • #1 baby on the way. Which stroller would you recommend for a newborn that can ideally be used until age 3? ->Joolz is great and light but not wonderful off of well-paved even roads. We have a bugaboo fox and a joolz aer plus and we use both for different needs. I also suggest getting the bassinet.
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer 2 as primary stroller? ->As an IVF person who had a kid later, I went all out. Bugaboo stroller, Clek car seat, etc.... I didn't have a registry. You are in a different place. I also believe in buying car seats and mattresses new for safety reasons. If you are being asked for a registry, I would populate it with small easy items and nothing big if this is a point of consternation among or if they are feeling financial pressure - it's also just good practice for a registry. But something meaningful like a nice book or something cute so people can engage in getting something adorable for the baby. As for work, avoid talking about it any more or say you're getting everything used off facebook marketplace (which actually does work well, I just didn't have energy while pregnant to go around buying things - I could have saved so much). Loved the baby bjorn bouncer by the way.
r/Buyingforbaby • Registry Reality Check Plz ->We have Bugaboo Fox Cub, and same. It takes soo much space, I honestly liked the cot for when she was a newborn, but now with sport seat I understand I made a mistake. It's just so huge to deal with. Had to buy a travel buggy now that our baby can sit up. Wish we went with Cybex Melio instead, cuz newborn phase is over sooo fast. 🥲
r/NewParents • Product Regrets: 3mos in! ->Go on Facebook marketplace put in the posh brands and get them second hand, got a £1,000 bugaboo fox for £200, plus a baby zen yo-yo travel pram, £700 new for £100
r/NewParents • Is everyone on baby/parenting subs rich?!? ->Fox är poppis. Vi föredrar får Emmaljunga, särskilt ute på vandringsstråk, skog, landet. Dock lite tyngre och tar lite mer plats.
r/stockholm • Barnvagn i Stockholm? ->I totally feel you, picking out a stroller was overwhelming!!! It’s the only item we purchased new (everything else is had me down and second hand) but we thought if we are using it daily for 4 years it’ll pay off. We’re also living in the city (no car) and so will be using the buggy a lot. We’ve looked at Bugaboo, Cybex, Nuna and Joolz (which seems to be suuuuper trendy now here in Europe). My conclusion after a ton of research and visiting stores was that at this price point and looking at the similar models, they are really all the same, with the same features😅 I liked the bugaboo fox design the most, it was slightly more expensive than the rest but I found a website sale and got it 40% off. However it is clear, that this will be more of a bigger, sturdy everyday stroller in town. They all fold quite big, and are heavy. I definitely see that we will need a lightweight travel one pretty soon that folds small for flying and road trips. Like a bugaboo firefly or joolz air.
r/BabyBumps • Strollers (please let me here your thoughts on NUNA, Uppa and Bugaboo I am overwhelmed with anxiety) ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
