We have a Bumbleride Era and it’s great. We don’t use it a lot, but great for walks and outings. I wouldn’t bother with the car seat adaports as they are hard to use and the stroller is already big and bulky. No way am I taking it into a store. I like to babywear, or use a doona/evenflow type car seat. I think I would get the Bumbleride jogging option. It’s easier to fold and I never use the parent facing option.

I’ve had multiple. 1. Baby jogger (got used to death, walks from home on the rough walking trails near my house for 5km + each day had it looking pretty rough) 2. Babybee Luna mini. Lives in my car. Have used for tall 3yo and baby. Very good. 3. Double running trailer/pram (generic brand cost $350ish) I don’t love it, a bit heavy to steer. My husband uses it more than me. But good for toddler to sit in with room to put their bike etc next to them so you don’t have to carry it. Can put their lunch box/water next to them as well. 4. Bumbleride Speed. Just got this recently. Suspension is amazing - easy to steer while running even with a 18kg 4yo in it. Higher weight limit than a Thule pram which is what attracted me. I do a lot of walks from home, I don’t like getting my pram out of the car and then having to remember to put it back in every day.

The handling on my bumbleride is fantastic. I'm sure other high end jogging/hybrid strollers are similar. I would not have been happy with a cheap stroller because we spend a lot of time on walks in the neighborhood and living in the desert, I need something that can handle rocks and dirt

Buying a stroller is incredibly hard lol. I ended up with a bumble ride speed, however things to note that I wish I had noted is canopy size, how much does the seat recline, does the baby face your or not, does it have adaptors for other add ones and how much storage does it have!

I'm happy with my purchase but i do wish my baby had been facing me for the first couple of months ( every time she was very still or quiet I panicked lol and I couldn't see her) I personally didn't care for a stroller that could clip on a car seat, our stroller did not have a lay flat "bassinet mode" so we ended buying a second one, the bumble ride indie which has a "bassinet mode" so that was good enough, although it sucked when you arrived somewhere and Ms baby was asleep, not once was I able to transfer her and keep her asleep lol, other wise look at your lifestyle, I run often so the jogger was ideal and we hike a lot so a big air filled tire one was great for us, our canopy is huuuuge, the entire body of the unit comes off to be washed in the laundry so that was awesome. I got them both used on marketplace. The car seat was gifted to me and it was an uppababy mesa which is quite expensive for my budget and we could not find a used uppa baby stroller that fit it. So I had the bumble ride indie for 4 month (it's still in my garage) and I now use the bumble ride speed. Edit: my wife really wanted the bumble ride era cause it has the option to flip the baby to face backwards, but it's not a jogger and it was not available on marketplace

We have the Indie as well! Looking forward to running with baby once he is old enough. Did you wait until 6 months? Also thinking of buying a used Thule chariot for biking.

3 total with a 13 month old: - Bumbleride Indie All-terrain/Jogging stroller (our everyday) - Summer 3DMini Umbrella Stroller (our travel stroller) - MEC Bike Chariot (can be used as a jogging stroller but we only ever use it on our bike)

Yep we did. It was super smooth, even on gravel. I found running with a stroller kinda awkward at first (I feel like it messed up my gait) but I eventually got used to it.

I have a handmedown bumbleride from my sister. It's 13 years old and still in fantastic shape. She was very set on having refillable rubber tires.. said listening to plastic on gravel makes her skin crawl haha

I love Bumbleride!! I've had our single forever, and I had a double when both my kids were little. My favorite part is the tires! Air filled, like a bike. All kinds of terrain is easy going, and living in a snow climate, I appreciate that it goes through snow well.

I'd also recommend bumbleride. We got a used one and it's been perfect for the rough terrain and baby is comfy.

We looked for wheels that could handle the terrain we walk over every day, which is a mix of pavement, packed gravel, loose gravel and dirt, then looked for a stroller that could handle those with features we wanted. Weight didn’t matter for us since we don’t really go to malls, and I baby wore in public mostly. We ended up with a bumbleride becuase I wanted a bassinet and a lay flat seat as we spend a lot of time outdoors and planned to do a lot of naps out and about and it worked great for us.
