Check out the Chicco Corso! It doesn’t have a bassinet attachment (as far as I know a true bassinet attachment like the one in your picture wouldn’t be able to fold). But the Chicco Corso toddler seat lies completely flat and has a newborn insert. It’s definitely not organic, but their ClearTex fabric is flame retardant free

I live in Chicago currently, and we got the Chicco Corso. The keyfit35 car seat that is part of the travel system is quite easy to buckle into Ubers using the seatbelt. The toddler seat also has a true lie-flat feature with a newborn insert that basically turns it into a bassinet. The biggest issue with a true bassinet is that the stroller doesn’t fold with the bassinet attached, so that was a big benefit of the Chicco Corso as opposed to a true bassinet attachment (plus not having to pay for an extra attachment). We’ve had it for nine months, and it has worked really well even during the snowy months!

I love my Chicco Corso! It doesn’t convert to a double, so if more kids are in your future then that might be a consideration, but it’s perfect for a one and done or first kid.

I have a Chicco and it’s midrange at best and I wish I had gone with a more expensive one. I live in NYC so it would have been enormously important for maneuverability.

We got a chicco and it’s like $350-$400 for the car seat AND stroller but they run frequent sales and we personally love ours! Swing was less than $100, we just at the moment cannot fathom a $1000 stroller/car seat combo.  Walmart sales, target sales, everything in between. Comparison will forever be the thief of things and I can say my baby will not remember things what stroller

We love our Chicco car seat and stroller (the stroller handles amazingly well and is super easy to fold up/open) and the oxo dispenser is great too!

My toddler is 2.5 and we only have an umbrella stroller that we only use for Disneyland, other than that we just end up pushing an empty stroller around. We got rid of our bulky Chicco stroller soon after she learned to walk. The fact that you have a stroller just for the looks is so ridiculous, especially if you’re scared of dirtying it up. I’ve realized now that kids will somehow gravitate towards the items you hold dearest and break them or mess them up. I say you donate one of the strollers you don’t use as much or list it somewhere if you want some of the money back.

We love Keyfit too. We have the Corso stroller that fits any Chicco infant car seat. We just switched her over to the actual seat part now and it is very easy to collapse. Thinking of another Chicco for convertable

We had the chicco keyfit and loved it! Our daughter had no issue with it. We also got the chicco stroller that the carseat can just click in and out of. Our toddler is almost 3 and we still use the stroller regularly - it’s not too heavy and SUPER easy to set up and collapse. Pregnant with our second and doing the keyfit again.

Here were my thoughts on a trip I just took with my 9mo at the time! - We did an 11 hour flight and bought a seat for baby. I baby wore most of the time but it was great having a place to set my baby down while we ate or just needed a break. - I used my Happy Baby OG and loved it for both the plane ride and once we reached our destination. Compact and light weight. You can front carry and back carry. It is an “apron style” carrier so no thick waistband to get in the way when sitting. - you might get touched out during the flight - I had a hard time being confined for so long and holding/wearing my baby for most of the time. Just more of a note to be mentally prepared than anything. - we brought our Chicco Corso stroller. After our trip, I realized I wish I had a smaller stroller that had a snack tray and could still carry an infant car seat if needed. Not all places had high chairs and at times we ate on the go and a snack tray would have been so helpful. I have since bought a Bombi travel stroller and love it so far. Snack tray is great and the extra straps for the car seat have been really helpful. It will be coming on a trip with us next month.

My tall 11 month old is comfy in the Chicco Corso and the wheels are pretty sturdy

If you're in the USA, there's not great spots to test out strollers. If I was buying again, I would go onto my local buy nothing group and ask if anyone was willing to let me test out their stroller prior to baby's arrival and take it on a walk around their driveway. We love the Chicco corso (both around 6 ft tall), but it was expensive and our feet bump onto the cross bar/axle for the back wheels. Regarding clothes, some brands do run small or large, long or wide. However, babies can be tall in different ways, long torso, long legs, or both. Ours is a long torso baby and old navy and Carter's worked well (but we sized up very early relative to the age on the tag). I'd start with a mix of brands and see what you like and what fits your baby best. This is entirely unrelated to being tall, but make sure you have a laundry detergent with lipase (check out r/laundry). With good detergent we had zero blowout stains. Also, breastfed baby poop is water soluble (no formula or solids).
