got ours on buy nothing group. we had purchased the chicco corso and definitely use that when we’re doing anything even remotely active because the variant of that stroller that we got has front and rear suspension. Got a great deal on it at target during their trade-in event because I was able to combine it with some other deals. I had my eye on the caddy, but didn’t want to pay money for a whole second transportation item that functionally does the exact same thing only better. That said I jumped for joy when the caddy showed up on the buy nothing group because it is much lighter and it’s a lot easier to deal with for super quick trips to the store or whatever. For new parents, the real tip is that you don’t actually need to trade anything in you can just scan the code in the store. It’s right on the box where you turn stuff in and nobody cares if you put something in or not. You’re kind of actually doing them a favor by not giving them more old crap to deal with.
Until I had 2 kids and upgraded to a side-by-side double stroller, I never felt like I needed anything other than my Chicco Corso LE, and I chose it over the UB V2. It might be worth looking into to see if it meets your criteria.
I have never flown with it, but I have done plenty of road trips with it.
100% agree with this! I love the Corso!
Little girl is coming in about a week and a half. We went with the Chicco Corso LE and love it. We’ll see once there’s a little babe to push around… 🤪
We were able to test it at a Kohl’s with a Babies R Us inside. There’s 200+ if you’re in the states. Worth looking into.
Chicco LE has lay flat infant insert which is suitable from birth. It replaced the bassinet/pramette that other strollers have. Chicco has the best infant carset ratings and their LE corso has advanced suspension with excellent ratings … and a 1 hand fold 🙌🏼. We went with it and couldn’t be happier with safety, performance, and price.
About $800 in the US. Went for the Chicco corso primo LE stroller and Keyfit Max car seat

We got the chicco corso LE and honestly it is great! I didn’t test out the uppababy one but I’ll be really shocked if it’s significantly easier to push than the one we have and if it is, I mean, I weight like 110 pounds and have 0 issues pushing the stroller so I don’t know that I need it any easier. I think it also depends on how much you plan on using it. My child hated the stroller and so we also didn’t use it much, maybe it’d be different if it got a lot of use.
I don’t currently have the Chicco Corso flex (planning on getting it when we’re expecting baby #2), but I have the Chicco Corso LE and that’s the single version. I freaking love it and when I found out they had a double version of it, I told my husband that’s the one we’re gonna get when we have more than one. Also just wanted to note that Chicco “does not endorse or warrant using Chicco car seats with strollers manufactured by other companies” and they “do not manufacture any adapters nor do we recommend any aftermarket adapters or products”.
We bought the Chicco Corso travel system and I absolutely love it. It’s super easy to switch the attachments to either snap the car seat in or smart the modular seat in. We also had the infant insert so that baby could use the modular seat from the newborn stage. We use the car seat click in attachment when we’re just running into the store quickly and use the seat for all other times.
Not sure if you’ve looked into it already, but I think the Chicco Corso Flex (though probably bulky) has everything you’re looking for. We currently have the Chicco Corso and will be getting the Corso flex when we have a second (I didn’t think ahead and get the double from the get go).
We bought the chicco corso travel system. It comes with their keyfit 35 car seat and the attachment to use the stroller on its own with the toddler seat attachment. We bought one of the lower tier of the corso system so it didn’t come with the infant insert for the stroller part so we ordered that separately, but it has been totally worth it for us. Our baby is 13.8lbs at 6 weeks, but is really tall. If I remember correctly, this infant car seat maxes out at 35lbs or 30”, whichever comes first. Our baby will probably max it out sooner than later because he’s 90th percentile for height and weight, so we’ve bought the chicco fit360. Our logic was he loves his current chicco car seat (didn’t even fuss when putting him in to come home from the hospital) so we’d stick with something from the same brand in hopes that he’ll continue loving it. We also had it recommended to us by a friend who has a 9 month old right now. We have no regrets about doing the travel system with the infant car seat. We specifically looked for one because I didn’t want to have to wake the baby up every time we had to get him out of the car to run into the grocery store or something short. It made it really easy to just snap his car seat into the stroller and do any errand without disrupting his naps.
We’re expecting our second in a few months and my babies will be 15 months apart. I have the Bugaboo Donkey 6. It’s a super expensive stroller, but it’s the best push stroller I’ve tried out and I went to Nordstrom and tested all of the strollers they had. We had bought a Chicco Corso for our first because we got it for a steal, but it wasn’t suited for the age gaps we intend to have. And yeah you can get a Graco or a Chicco, but there’s a drastic difference in the flow and ease of pushing it. I can easily push the Bugaboo Donkey one handed while experiencing wrist pains associated with pregnancy, but I wouldn’t have been able to do it with the Chicco Corso and not have to stop after a minute or two. I also like being able to throw more stuff on the bottom while shopping. I think the Corso had a 10lbs limit for the bottom basket and the Donkey 6 has 33lbs for the bottom basket and 22lbs for the side shopping bag. Now if it’s in your budget and you have more than enough to fund all of the other things needed for your baby, I’d go for the Donkey. If you don’t have the budget or you’d be taking away funds from something else to make it work, go for the Graco or something cheaper. But if you’re going for 2u2, I’d opt for the double stroller from the start. We were planning it and didn’t think about just going for a double in the beginning and so we wasted a little bit of money getting a stroller to use it for like 8-9 months before getting rid of it. And our original stroller didn’t have nearly the amount of customization options as the one we have now. But paying $500 for the second sibling seat did hurt so…
