For our baby, we are choosing the Chicco Corso Primo; I've looked at Nuna, but can't see a difference enough to shell out that kind of money! Best wishes in your research! ❤️

I agree! Everyone is recommending luxury brands, but the Chicco Corso Primo has everything they do for 900 bucks. This is the one we are choosing as FTPs! Thank you for your comment. 🙏🏼

We have the Chicco Corso Primo with clear Tex material. We love it. Has rubber tires with a little bit of shocks which is nice for a bunch of different surfaces. We actually just took it on the beach today (not that I recommend this, we did a Downs Syndrome Buddy Walk for a friend and I didn’t realize the walk was literally on the beach) but it handled nicely on the semi packed sand. The stroller itself doesn’t have a true bassinet but it lays flat and has a newborn insert so I didn’t have to strap baby into car seat to take a walk in the neighborhood although it obviously has that option too! He has taken many a good nap with the seat flat even at 10 months old

We did the chicco corso prima travel system with the key fit 35 infant car seat. I’m a big fan. The infant seat just click in, or the typical seat can lay flat with an infant insert as well so they’re not in the car seat for walks and that

Like many said, it will depend on your lifestyle and needs. But if it helps, this is how I chose ours (Chicco corso primo cleartex travel system). We are only 4 months in but I do like it a lot -wanted a travel system with an option to buy a second base for my husband’s vehicle -coordinating car seat that goes to 35 pounds was the higher weight end for infant seats. Good safety ratings too -did not want to have to buy a bassinet attachment. The stroller lays almost flat and it worked for us with our newborn just fine -the stroller can parent face or world face -one hand collapsing- one important note is if you have the stroller parent facing, you have to take that off to collapse it. Once you’re world facing, it can collapse all in one piece -wanted good wheels with suspension because we don’t have great sidewalks in our neighborhood and knew we would be doing a lot of walks on pavement as well as “off pavementsuch as grass and dirt etc -I opted for the cleartex to limit chemicals etc in the fabric since she would be spending a good amount of time in there. Maybe it’s a gimmick for an upsell, maybe it’s not. -good sized basket underneath for storage. Whether it’s for our things, while shopping, etc. it’s been very convenient so far -we opted against a stroller that can convert to a double in the future because we just don’t know when/if we’ll have additional children. It took us 3.5 years to have this one. When the time comes, we’ll get a new system that fits our life It definitely is not compact by any means, but we both have big vehicles and it fits fine in them. I think down the road we might buy a secondary travel stroller, but right now this fits all our needs and I really like it!

This is my time to shine! lol I have been stroller crazed since I was pregnant. I thought about our constraints first (budget, space) just to narrow it down a bunch. Just because of space constraints we eliminated full size strollers. (Like vista/mockingbird) I chose to completely ignore if a stroller could turn into a double or not. It’s a whole other ball game and I’m choosing to cross that bridge if we come to it. I recommend that because depending on age differences between siblings it can really change your priorities with double strollers. I think it’s impossible to have just 1 stroller fit all your needs, especially if you want to use them from infant/newborn stage. The needs are just so different for tiny babies vs toddlers. So instead of compromising on toddler needs(which would last for so many more years), we got a corso primo for newborn days and a gt2 that we didn’t use until she was 5 months. She’s one now and our needs sound similar to yours (80% neighborhood walks, 20% terrain) I just got a minu v2 as well. The first 5 months she really wanted to face me, and was often in the car seat. I loved the chicco corso primo (primo has better wheels then regular corso!), it was super duper easy with the chicco key fit and the seat was also great facing me. We could have found adapters for the gt2 and used that with the car seat too, but I liked that the corso is just a frame that the car seat clicked into. It felt much more manageable in early days when I was trying to get her around on my own. That was worth it and I would do it again! I would typically baby wear her around the neighborhood, so the frame lived in the trunk of the car for a little bit and it was great for shopping and appointments. Definitely not all terrain, but it handled rough sidewalks admirably! And 100 bucks used so I didn’t feel guilty about only using it for 5 months. I just switched to a minu v2 because the gt2 is just a tiny bit too bulky to easily maneuver in and out of our house with an injured back. I’m planning on keeping both, and the minu will be great for shorter walks, travel, car, shopping, museums, etc but it’s just not quite all terrain like the gt2. Like I *can* take it on gravel, we’ll survive, but the gt2 is smooth as butter. The gt2 also has a much higher weight limit so she can use it when she grows out of the minu. I think the gt2 and the minu are an incredible pair of strollers that cover alllll of my needs. If I had to choose one it would be the minu, because having something I can manage with one hand in and out of the house is priceless. But those are just our constraints- the gt2 is a serious workhorse! I just have a tiny porch and narrow steps 😭 I highly *highly* recommend getting the stroller guide from “the stroller workshop”. He has a YouTube channel and patreon. The guide is $5 and it helped me pull the trigger on a minu. I tuned out all other reviews, I trust that man with my life 🤓 TLDR if you need 1 stroller for all purposes from birth on- I would get a gt/2 and car seat adapters. But if you are thrifty and have the time, getting something for early days, then reselling it and getting a rugged daily driver and a lightweight travel stroller would require fewer compromises. Also, I didn’t pay full price for a single one of these strollers. I’m a Facebook marketplace sniper lol.
